Each time the bird managed to struggle itself loose. The for the time he succeeded. To this Imaam said: "You have seen a good dream. This is a virgin woman whom you wished to bring under your control thrice but without success. You succeeded the forth time": He said: "My Lord, you have spoken the truth. Incident - Embracing the moon Dream Explanation — A man once came to Hazrat Imaam Jafar (RA) and said."I saw myself as if I were embracing the moon". The Imaan asked:. "Are you a bachelor?" He answered in the affirmative. The Imaam said: "You shall marry the most beautiful lady of her time". Thereafter, the person was not seen for a very long time. Then Suddenly he appeared one day and said to the Imaam. "My master! I have married the most beautiful lady of Madeenah. But last night I saw a dream as if I were carrying the moon". Hotel Dream Explanation — (Hostel; Inn; Travelling to a foreign country) A hotel in a dream represents one's house, body, name, property, glory, bathhouse, oven, or a court of justice. Whatever may happen to him in that dream could take place in conjunction to any of the above elements and in relationship to his condition. Staying overnight in an unknown hotel in a dream means travel, or it may indicate the abode of this world from which one travels to reach the abode of the hereafter. Torah Dream Explanation — o A bachelor seeing the Torah: o (1) Will marry a girl or woman from another ethnic group. o (2) Will travel extensively, because the Torah comprises several asfar (scriptures or holy writings, plural of safar, which in Arabic is a homonym for travel). o (3) Might marry an emancipated woman or one without a legal guardian.

Bird Dream Explanation — The unknown bird symbolizes the Archangel of Death; a traveller; labour; or a man's actions or deeds. Big and ferocious or rapacious birds are the kings, chiefs, prominent people, scholars, and rich people or those who make a good living. Waterbirds represent the nobles who hold two posts at a time, since these birds do as they like in the water and in the air. They could also symbolize people who travel by land and by sea. Dreaming of them is better than dreaming of any other species, because they have an easier livelihood and are less rapacious. Singing birds or those that wail simply refer to singers. Small birds are the young boys.

Impurity Dream Explanation — o Dreaming of emerging from sexual intercourse without washing: (1) Will have a boy. (2) Will earn money.
o Being soiled by an impure act: (1) Will err or be in a quandary. (2) Will travel to no avail. In case the subject has dreamed that he had washed perfectly well after such an act, the reverse would happen.
o Being soiled by any animal: Money and blessings.

Spinning Dream Explanation — (Yarn) If a woman sees herself working on a spinning wheel and quickly trying to finish her work in a dream, it means that a traveller will soon come home, or that an expected visitor will arrive. If she sees herself taking her time in spinning her wool in a dream, it means that either she or her husband will undertake a journey. If the thread breaks inside the bobbin in her dream, it means cancellation of her plans to travel. If she sees herself in a dream spinning cotton threads, it means separation from her husband. During such a separation, she will cease asking her husband for her bridal dower, and later on she will return to him. Prison Dream Explanation — (Also see IMPRISONMENT.) The same interpretation as for Bathroom applies to prison. It also symbolizes disease that cripples the human being or halts his activities, any hindrance especially relating to travel, the grave, and Hell, because it is the place where atheists and criminals receive their chastisement. Likewise, life on earth is a prison for the chaste and a sort of paradise for the disbelievers.
o Being in jail: (1) If the dreamer is embarking on a journey, travel will be cancelled or interrupted due to technical troubles, a war, or some other reason. (2) If the dreamer is not planning a trip, he will enter some place where he will disobey God, says Ibn Siren, like a church, an atheistic or heretical temple, a whorehouse, or a bar, depending on his habits and what he is most likely to do. Measure Dream Explanation — (Foot; Inch; Span; Spread; Width) In a dream, a measure or any of its related elements means travels. Measuring a wall with the span of one's hand in a dream means that he may travel to a nearby town. If he measures the same distance on the ground in a dream, it means that he may travel to a distant place. If one measures the ground up to two arms length in a dream, it means that he will attend the pilgrimage in Mecca. Incident - A woman shaving the Dreamer's Hair and Beard Dream Explanation — It is narrated that a person came to Imaam Jafar Saadiq (RA) and said: "I dreamed that a woman shave my beard and hair. What is the interpretation?" He said: "Indeed, you have seen amost unpleasant dream. For the woman symbolises the year time and the head symbolises man's honour, respect beauty and all the Allah favours him with. You will lose all of these. But since you have seen a woman do this, all these bounties will be recovered shortly." (The narrator says that) the dream came true after a short period of time. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Jesus Christ Dream Explanation — o Seeing Jesus: (1) Will be a blessed person and a great benefactor. (2) Will go a long way and travel long distances for the sake of Allah, moving from one country to another. (3) Will become ascetic and easy to content. (4) Will become a healer and know something about medicine, but if one dreams of Jesus often, he will become the unequalled healer or medical doctor of his time. (5) Will be immune from harm that year and will have nothing to fear anymore. (6) Will excel in whatever you try and no request you make will be turned down. (7) Will become prosperous and enjoy God's blessings everywhere. (8) Something extraordinary will happen. (9) Justice and prosperity will prevail. (10) Doubts about religion and contradictions because, reports Al-Nabulsi,31 the Jews said they had crucified Jesus. God Almighty says in the Holy Quran: "And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger--They slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain." Foot Dream Explanation — If one sees one of his feet longer than the other in a dream, it means that he will travel and profit from his journey, or receive the needed help during his journey. If he is rich, it means that he will become sick . If a poor person sees himself having four legs in a dream, it means that he will travel and receive help to accomplish his goals. A rich person in that case may get sick, or it could mean longevity. Stool Dream Explanation — Also see Toilet. In general, anything that comes out of the stomach of humans or animals symbolizes money. Whether it is good or bad depends on its smell, its dirt, and its harm to people. If it is a non-personal dirt, like mud, it means public fear from the ruler. Stool, or shit in vulgar terms, represents benefit from injustice or relief.
o Easing out: (1) No more worries. (2) Will give alms.
o A person about to travel dreaming of having passed too much stool: (1) Will not travel. (2) Will fall into the hands of highwaymen.
o Finding, winning, or eating filth: (1) Dirty money with repentance. (2) A statement made out of greed, which the dreamer will regret.

Mule Dream Explanation — The mule with its saddle, reins, and other equipment is a beautiful woman of letters but of low origin. It might also symbolize a barren or childless woman. Every time she has a child, he will die.
o A gray mule: A beautiful woman.
o A green mule: A virtuous lady who will live long.
o Riding on a black mule: A rich and childless woman who wields tremendous power. (Paradoxically, the words black and master in Arabic are homonyms.)
o Riding someone else's mule: Will flirt or sleep with someone else's woman.
o Riding on a mule backward: A sinful woman.
o A mule with its pack saddle and necessary gear: A reference to travel.
o A talking mule or horse: Extraordinary welfare is ahead and people will talk about it.
o Owning a pregnant mule: You wish to increase your wealth.
o A mule having delivered: A wish will be fulfilled.

Gutter Dream Explanation — (Drain pipe; Gutter of Mercy; Roof gutter) In a dream, a gutter represents someone who is gracious from time to time. Seeing water flowing through gutters without a rainfall in a dream means corruption, or people who are spreading evil in that locality. Each gutter in such a dream also represents the loss of one life.
