Travels (Hotel; Inn; Millstone; World) In a dream, travels mean discovering people's substance or character. If a poor person sees himself travelling in a dream, it means that he will become rich. If one hosts travellers in a dream, it means that he may receive news from that direction. Travelling in a dream also means changing condition, state, environment, or that one may have to wash the floor of a house, or change his employer, repent for his sin, or satisfy what his heart desires. Travels Moving out of an unknown house in a dream means travelling. If a sick person sees himself travelling from one land into another that he could not recognize in his dream, it means his death. If a traveller sees himself carrying a food basket in a dream, it means that he will take a positive look at things, or that he will make a practical move that will benefit him and his family. Hotel (Hostel; Inn; Travelling to a foreign country) A hotel in a dream represents one's house, body, name, property, glory, bathhouse, oven, or a court of justice. Whatever may happen to him in that dream could take place in conjunction to any of the above elements and in relationship to his condition. Staying overnight in an unknown hotel in a dream means travel, or it may indicate the abode of this world from which one travels to reach the abode of the hereafter. Measure (Foot; Inch; Span; Spread; Width) In a dream, a measure or any of its related elements means travels. Measuring a wall with the span of one's hand in a dream means that he may travel to a nearby town. If he measures the same distance on the ground in a dream, it means that he may travel to a distant place. If one measures the ground up to two arms length in a dream, it means that he will attend the pilgrimage in Mecca. Irreligious (Cover; Hide; Farmer; Infidel; Ingratitude; Profane; Unbeliever; Unallahly) In a dream, seeing an irreligious person means meeting an enemy. Seeing an elderly person who is irreligious in a dream means meeting an old enemy whose hatred is clearly shown on his face. Seeing an irreligious housekeeper, or an old employee in a dream means suffering from the hidden evils of an avowed enemy. Preacher (Khatib; Sermon) A preacher delivering his sermon in a dream represents purity, submission, repentance, crying, rising in station, longevity, mixing with a fellowship of believers, commanding what is good and forbidding what is evil, celebrations, weddings, or anniversary meetings. If an unwed woman sees him in her dream, it means that she will get married through a third party involvement. The same goes for an unwed man, or it could indicate his search for a wife. Well In a dream, a well inside one's house means prosperity, riches, a wife, business, a teacher, poverty, deception, fulfillment of one's needs, travels, goals, stinginess, generosity, or it could mean a servant. The structural condition of each well in a dream has its own interpretation. A well in a dream also represent a woman who has a loud laughter, or it could represent a pleasant and an inspiring woman. If a woman sees a well in a dream, it means meeting a man of good character. If one sees himself looking into a well in a dream, it means that he is thinking about a particular woman for marriage. A well in a dream is also interpreted to represent knowledge, marriage, a big man, prison, ties, or deception. Spiritual gathering (Admonition; Fellowship; Gathering; Meeting; Religious meeting) If one who does not qualify to be a spiritual leader or a scholar sees himself holding a religious gathering and admonishing people to do good and to forbid evil in a dream, it means distress and an illness which he is praying hard for it to be lifted by Allah's leave. However, if he does speak wisdom during such a spiritual gathering in his dream, it means praying hard to have one's distress and illness lifted by Allah's leave. Butcher Buying an animal's head from a butcher in a dream means asking one's superior for a teacher for a special training, a coach, a continuing education program, or a better job. If a butcher slaughters an animal for fun in a dream, it means suspicion about one's spiritual standing. Walking in a butchers market in a dream means adversities, sufferings, a quick death for sick people, loss of wealth for rich people, or the fear of people who are under oppression, or the scare of a person in debt concerning his family or property, or the fears of a person awaiting a court judgment. It is also said that a butcher in a dream represents tyranny and bloodshed. If a prisoner sees a butcher in his dream, it means that he will soon be released from jail. Seeing a butcher in a dream also signifies safety, dispelling fears, protection, silence, vanquishing one's enemy, or it could mean meeting with a persuasive travel agent. City Seeing oneself in a large and populated city in a dream means prosperity and wealth. Entering a city in a dream also means making peace between people. Driving through an unknown section of a city in a dream means losses. Entering an old city that is rebuilt and restored in a dream means that a great and a pious person will be born in that city and he will grow to guide its people on the path of righteousness. A city in a dream also signifies an oath, meeting with one's beloveds, peace, tranquillity and safety. Meeting with Allah-fearing people in a dream means attaining one's goals and receiving glad tidings. Cap (Overseas cap; Persian toga; Roman toga; Shawl) In a dream, a cap means travels, a wife who is supporting her husband, or a husband who is supporting his wife. A shawl-like attire that is worn over the head and shoulders in a dream represents honor, valor, a new trade, travel, a brother or a father. Taking off a cap in a dream means losing one's authority or loss of his wealth. A torn cap in a dream means the death of one's brother or father. Torah • A bachelor seeing the Torah: • (1) Will marry a girl or woman from another ethnic group. • (2) Will travel extensively, because the Torah comprises several asfar (scriptures or holy writings, plural of safar, which in Arabic is a homonym for travel). • (3) Might marry an emancipated woman or one without a legal guardian.

Impurity • Dreaming of emerging from sexual intercourse without washing: (1) Will have a boy. (2) Will earn money.
• Being soiled by an impure act: (1) Will err or be in a quandary. (2) Will travel to no avail. In case the subject has dreamed that he had washed perfectly well after such an act, the reverse would happen.
• Being soiled by any animal: Money and blessings.

Bow In a dream, a bow means travels, a brother, a wife, a son or closeness to someone. A covered bow in a dream means that, one's wife is pregnant. If a pregnant woman hands a man a bow in a dream, it means that she will conceive a girl from him. If a pregnant woman hands her husband a bow in a dream, it means that she will deliver a boy. Stretching the strings of a bow in a dream means longevity. Stretching it without an arrow in a dream means planning! to travel. A broken bow in a dream signifies the death of a brother, a business partner, or a son. Interlocking one's hands (Intertwine) In a dream, interlocking one's hands means a partnership, a contract, marriage, stagnation, stillness of business, delinquency in one's prayers, negligence of one's duties, difficulties with one's family, or a meeting that purports evil. Prison (Also see IMPRISONMENT.) The same interpretation as for Bathroom applies to prison. It also symbolizes disease that cripples the human being or halts his activities, any hindrance especially relating to travel, the grave, and Hell, because it is the place where atheists and criminals receive their chastisement. Likewise, life on earth is a prison for the chaste and a sort of paradise for the disbelievers.
• Being in jail: (1) If the dreamer is embarking on a journey, travel will be cancelled or interrupted due to technical troubles, a war, or some other reason. (2) If the dreamer is not planning a trip, he will enter some place where he will disobey God, says Ibn Siren, like a church, an atheistic or heretical temple, a whorehouse, or a bar, depending on his habits and what he is most likely to do. Knitting (Interlacing yarn or thread; Weaving) In a dream, knitting represents a problem solver, garments, travels, or hesitation. Knitting in a dream also means the passing of one's life and the nearing of its end. Knitting in a dream also means living under acceptable conditions, or experiencing the gifts of life between exhilaration and deflation. Knitting a garment in a dream means travels. Pilgrimage If one travels to perform his pilgrimage using a vehicle in a dream, it means that he will receive help from Allah Almighty. If he travels on foot leading a camel in the dream, it means that he will do so with the help of a woman. If he rides an elephant in the dream, it means that he will perform his pilgrimage as a member of a governmental delegation. If one travels on foot in the dream, it means that he has made a vow which he must fulfil. Seeing oneself returning from a pilgrimage in a dream means profits and relief from stress. If one carries his provisions with him in the dream, it means that he stands before his Lord with piety and reverence. Carrying the pilgrim's provisions in a dream also means paying poor people their dues, or it could mean paying one's debts. If one sees himself going to perform his pilgrimage alone, and the people standing up to pay their farewell to him in a dream, it means that he will die shortly.
