Slave • Freeing a slave: Sacrifice. Hence a man dreaming that he has been set free from slavery will be the object of a sacrifice.
• An indebted free person or one who has committed some sin dreaming that he has been set free from slavery: God will come to his rescue, or he will repent.
• A bondsman dreaming that he has been set free: (1) The possible death of his master or himself. (2) If ill, will die. (3) Fewer benefits. (4) If the master was a renegade or a disbeliever, he will repent or embrace Islam and be safe from Hell’s inferno.

Slave • A free man dreaming that he has been sold as a slave: (1) Will fall in a trap or will face hardships, because selling a free man is a humiliation. (2) Will be promoted and dignified. (3) Will receive some benefit (the story of Joseph).
• A slave man dreaming that he has become free: (1) Relief from hardships. (2) Settlement of debts. (3) Fulfilment of aspirations. (4) Recovery from a disease.
• A free man dreaming that he has been bought as a slave by a woman: Honour and dignity commensurate with the price paid for him.

Fat If one eats the fat of a non-permissible animal (beats, vultures, etcetera) in a dream, it means earning unlawful money, committing adultery, rejecting one's religion or fostering forbidden acts. Using fat as medicine in a dream means recovering from an illness. Fat in a dream also means joy, happiness or festivities. Pin (Safety pin) In a dream, a pin represents miseries and wretchedness. If the pin does not have a head in the dream, then it represents someone who offers invaluable services for a small compensation, or it could mean starting a married life with little furnishings. Shoe The shoe, sandal, sole, et cetera, symbolizes: (1) A wife or a pious woman. (2) A boy. (3) A friend. (4) A partner. (5) An animal. (6) A journey. (7) A brother.
• Buying a pair of shoes without using them: Will buy a slave girl or marry a free woman whose color or character will be as reflected by the color of the shoes. (1) Green shoes: The woman will be religious and virtuous. (2) Black shoes: She will be rich. (3) Yellow shoes: She will be ill. (4) Red shoes: She will be coquettish, always busy with her makeup, adornment, et cetera.

Hedges (Enclosure; Fence; Surrounding) If the green hedges of a fruit garden climb toward the outside of the fence and the trees remain inside the garden in a dream, it means improper attitude toward one's religion, or loss of worldly status, business losses, failure to repent, or giving preference to the company of ignorant and boastful people over the company of righteous people, or it could mean lack of adequate religious devotion, rejecting one's religion, or raising the esteem of commoners above the elect. Giving (Allot; Distribute; Gift; Offer) Giving something in a dream indicates the value or worth of the giver. If one gives his workers or a needy person little money when they merit more, it denotes his disobedience to the commands of Allah Almighty, or straying away from the prophetic traditions. Doomsday • The Day of Judgment drawing near: The dreamer is forgetful of philanthropy and rejecting justice in view of the Quranic verse: “Their reckoning draweth nigh for mankind, while they turn away in heedlessness.” (“Al-Anbiyae” [The Prophets], verse 01.)
• Having had a hard time rendering accounts to the Almighty: Wife is compassionate with you, and she is virtuous and religious.

Incident - Reciting Prayers for Benefiting The Pious Souls Someone used to regularly recite special prayers and offer their blessing to the benefit of the soul of Rabi'a Al-'Adawiyyah, God be pleased with her. Slave If one is sold as a slave in a dream, it means that he will regain honor and dignity, or perhaps fall in a trap, for selling a free person in a dream means humiliating him. Selling a human being in a dream also connotes a good end, such as that in the story of Allah's prophet Joseph, Alayhi-Salam. If a bondman sees himself free in a dream, it means that he will experience ease after he was subjugated to difficulties and hardships, or it could mean paying his debts, recovering from an illness, attaining one's goals, or perhaps he may become a true servant of Allah Almighty, who commands good and forbids evil, establishes regular prayers, pays his charities and fears wrongdoing. Incident - performing salah on top of the Kaabah A man once came to Saeed Ibn Musayyib (RA) and said : “ I have seen ( in my dream) that I am performing Salaah on top of the Kabah”. He replied: “Fear Allah! For it seems to me you have forsaken Islam”. The man said : “Your Excellency! I hereby offer my repentance in your presence for I have been advocating the beliefs of the Qadriyyah sect (the early Islamic sect around the companions time) since two months. Aqiqah rites Participating in the sacrament of the Aqiqah rites in a dream also could represent a growing faith and certitude, and emulating the blessed traditions of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. If the sacrifice presented in one's dream on that day is a permissible one and if one fulfils all the necessary rituals in his dream, then it denotes his praiseworthy character and the success of his endeavors. If one offers a non-permissible sacrifice in his dream and presents it to people to eat from, then his dream represents a recalcitrant child, or a rebellious son. Turtle The turtle is among the human beings who were metamorphosed, according to religious belief, as a result of a curse. The turtle or tortoise symbolizes: (1) A woman who adorns herself, uses a lot of cosmetics and perfume, and offers herself to men. (2) The chief justice, as the turtle is the most knowledgeable marine creature (according to Ibn Siren). (3) A scholar and a worshiper who reads the Holy Quran.
• A turtle in a garbage can: The people of the area have a scholar but do not know his value.
