Incident - Omar's robe dragging Abu Sa'id Al-Khjdr'i, God be pleased with him, reported that Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, has said: "While in my sleep, I saw people presented before me, most of whom wore a garment that covered down to their breast. Then arrived Omar who was dragging his robe behind him." Someone asked: "How did you interpret it, O Prophet Muhammad?" He replied: "Commitment to one's religion." Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Dress • Dreaming that unknown people have come to you and dressed you in pompous clothes without there being any feast or marriage, then left you alone in a house: You will die.
• The dead giving the dreamer two well-washed Arab male robes: Will become prosperous.
• The dead lending his robe to the dreamer, then asking for it back: That dead person has very few good deeds to his credit and cannot hope for much of God’s forgiveness. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Dress • The dead giving the dreamer an old robe: The latter will become poor and miserable.
• The dead giving the dreamer a new robe: The latter will become rich and powerful.
• Holding one’s Arab robe and telling a dead person, “Take this and sew it,” or, “wash it,” without the cloth leaving the dreamer’s hand or becoming the property of the dead: Trouble, hardships, and depression. Jinn - Or Djinn According to my grandfather, the late Mr. Mahmoud Fahim of Egypt, a master magician and an authority on the subject, as quoted by Dr. Paul Brunton: “… jinn's are native inhabitants of the spirit world who have never possessed a human body. Some of them are just like animals, others are as shrewd as men. There are also evil jinn's … who are used by low sorcerers, especially by the African witch doctors … they are dangerous servants and will sometimes turn treacherously on the man who is using them and kill him.”36 The jinn's have their own realm, whose doctors, for instance, are called Maymoun and Abanos. They are said sometimes to perform surgery. Ata is a good friend who answers queries and might appear, when invoked, in European or Arab dress or clad as a sheikh. Scholars (Early companions; Legist; Masjid; Men of knowledge; Mosque; Religious doctors; Righteous men) A scholar in a dream represents glad tidings, a promotion, or a commendation and it represents one who acts upon what he knows and says. Seeing one of the early scholars in a dream means increase in one's knowledge, for they were the wise representatives of Allah's message on earth. Seeing them also means increase in one's wisdom, happiness, joy, and one's dream could mean that one will stand to admonish people or counsel them. Egg For medical doctors, gifted persons, and poultry farmers, eggs mean welfare. For the rest, few eggs mean benefits; many eggs means deep worries. Big eggs refer to boys and small ones to girls. For bachelors, eggs often symbolize marriage. For married people, eggs are the forerunners of childbirth. Eggs also represent hidden things.
• Eggs in a container: Slave or maiden girls, in view of the Quranic expression “[Pure] as they were hidden eggs [of the ostrich].” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verse 49.)
• The dreamer’s hen having laid an egg: Will be blessed with a male child.
• Cooked eggs without shells: Blessed gifts and benefits.

Fox The fox is a crafty person, a crook, one who dodges on the spiritual and material planes. It could also be an astrologer or a doctor.
• Seeing a fox: Will feel depressed, be humiliated, or lose part of one’s fortune.
• Dodging a fox: The dreamer is a liar or a poet.
• A fox dodging the dreamer: An adversary or a competitor is doing so.
• Fighting or quarrelling with a fox: The same will happen with a relative.
• Calling a fox: Pain from wife or husband.

Ophthalmologist (Eye doctor; Oculist) In a dream, an ophthalmologist represents a spiritual guide who brings people out of darkness into light and who brings peace and unity between beloveds. An ophthalmologist in a dream also represents a teacher who entices people to seek knowledge, to reflect in advance about the consequences of their actions and to develop a sharp sight. Green (Fertile; Good harvest; Longevity; Paradise; Youth) Wearing a green garment in a dream is a sign of piety, religious attendance, assiduity and devotion. Green silky garments are the robes of the dwellers of paradise. Seeing a departed person wearing a green raiment in a dream means that he or she are living in a good state and reaping the benefits of their deeds in the world. It could also mean inheriting the deceased person. As for the deceased person himself, it could also mean that he has left this world in a state of martyrdom. Gourd The gourd, also called vegetable marrow, pumpkin, squash, and winter squash, alludes to the recovery of a sick person. Its vine is a knowledgeable man or a blessed and sociable doctor who benefits people. It could also refer to a poor man. A gourd is favoured by most interpreters, like meat and eggs.

Incident - A Bird Flying Off Chest A man said to a dream interpreter: "I saw a bird flying off from my chest, then I sought my mother who hid me inside her garment." The interpreter replied: "If your dream is true, then it means your death. The bird represents your soul, and your hiding in your mother's robe means your burial. Ishaq If one sees him in his best form and radiant beauty, it becomes a sign of glad tidings, whereby one's progeny will engender leaders, governors and righteous people. Seeing him in a dream also may mean coming out of tight circumstances into a more relaxed ones, changing from heedlessness into guidance, poverty into richness, and from disobedience to one's parents to obeying them again. Jinn - Or Djinn • The world being inhabited by the jan: A reference to bandits and garbage collectors or guardians.
• Jan dwelling in wells and bathrooms: (1) Adulterers. (2) Those who molest or harass women and men alike.
• Jinn's dwelling in a house: Evil neighbours.
• A jinn whispering in one’s ear or inciting the dreamer: The latter is actively worshiping and obeying God to overcome his enemy.

Bride If one sees a bride on her wedding day, dressed in her beautiful robe, looking beautiful and adorned with flower in a dream, it means wealth in this world. If one sees himself as a bridegroom and could not see his bride or recognize her in the dream, or if she is not named or attributed to him in the dream, it means his death or that he may commit a murder. Jesus Christ • Turning into Jesus Christ, looking like him, or wearing some of his clothes. (1) For a ruler or a chief: Will become more powerful. (2) For a scholar or a worshiper: Usefulness and good deeds will increase, and virtue will become more obvious. (3) For a medical doctor or a healer: Will become more successful.
• A sick person dreaming of Jesus Christ: Will be out of danger and recover fully.
• Jesus Christ appearing sick: The dreamer will die.
