Sarcophagus (Casket; Coffin; Mummy case) A dead person or a mummy inside a sarcophagus in a dream represents unlawful money. Stair • A sick or troubled person going down the staircase: (1) If he lands in a place he knows such as his house or on chopped straw or anything that alludes to the riches of this world: The dreamer will recover. (2) If he lands in an unknown place, in a well or a hole, or among dead people he knew or on a palanquin or a saddle of a travelling animal, et cetera, or on a ship that immediately sets sail, or in front of a ferocious lion that devours him or a bird that carries him away: The dreamer will die and the steps represent the days left in his life. Horse • Seeing a saddled but unknown stallion or mare in one’s house: A woman will enter the house for sex, marriage, or a simple courtesy call. The same situation involving an unsaddled horse would mean that a man would enter that house for marital purposes and the like. Draft horses or packhorses symbolize man’s perseverance and struggle. They are midway between a mare and a donkey. They represent a low-class wife and a slave or servant. On the other hand, they also refer to energy, luck earned through tears and sweat, and prosperity.
• Seeing one’s draft horse rolling in the dust: Efforts will be stepped up, and wealth will increase.
• A yellow packhorse: Sorrow.
• If someone used to riding mares rides a draft horse, his prestige will fall, his power will wane, and he might abandon his wife to go with a slave girl or a nanny.
• Conversely, if a person used to riding donkeys rides a draft horse, people will talk highly of him and praise him and his income will increase. His sexual standard might also be promoted by going to bed with a free woman, rather than a slave.

Necromancy • A man dreaming of someone dreaming of him that he is having sex with his mother, sister, brother, or similar prohibited relations, seen as dead in the dream: He is not sustaining them as he should, but will change his attitude and be fair to them. It could also mean trouble or worries or, on the contrary, benefit to both parties. If they are alive, it means the reverse and that he does not have much affection for them. In case, according to his dream, the act took place during the Muslims sacred months, he would go to Mecca (Makkah) for the pilgrimage.

Harvest • Seeing plants being harvested in a country at war or in the executioner’s usual place: People will die by the sword, inasmuch as plants were harvested by the sickle.

Sodomy vigour, as the words grandfather and endeavours are homonyms in Arabic.
• An identified dead man sodomizing a living human: The latter will obtain a share from the former’s bequest or from his heirs or kith and kin.
• Sodomizing a dead man: The dreamer will pray for the latter.
• Being sodomized by the caliph (or ruler): The dreamer will rule over a province or be given an important position. Sodomizing a man without problems: Harmony prevails between the two partners during that period, and the passive one will benefit from the other, be he identified or not.

Flag (Banner; Woman) In general, flags in a dream represent leaders, governors, judges and scholars. Carrying a flag in a dream means signing a marriage contract. A flag in a dream also means avoiding a dispute. Carrying a flag and a spear in a dream represents one's death or the sudden death of his son. A hoisted banner inside one's house in a dream means a funeral. Carrying a flag in a dream also connotes a woman. Carrying a red flag in a dream also could represent an evil woman. Prison If a sick person sees himself walking out of an unknown prison, or out of a tiny house into a large open space in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness and fully enjoy his life. If one sees himself incarcerated in a prison he does not recognize in a dream, it means that he will marry a woman through whom he will prosper and have children. Dog • Seeing hunting dogs entering a city: Unemployment.
• Seeing hunting dogs returning from an expedition: (1) Unemployment. (2) The end of fear.
• A sheepdog: (1) The dreamer will obtain certain benefits from the king or chief. (2) A good neighbour who is keen on preserving your interests as much as he does his own.

Grave The grave or grave pit symbolizes the prison, and vice versa. Graves symbolize a leaning toward ignorance or the ignorant, religious corruption, a catastrophe, worries, and regret for having followed the ignorant, but ultimate repentance. The gravedigger is a prestigious and awesome man.
• Wishing to visit the tombs: Will pay a visit to prisoners.
• Entering a grave and stepping on the bones of the dead: Will be expelled.
• Digging a grave or a pit for oneself or somebody else: (1) Will build a house. (2) Will settle in that area.

Flying • Flying from one rooftop to another: Will change wives.
• Hovering over houses and streets: Turbulence, but the dreamer will not be moved.
• Flying from one land to another: Dignity and great satisfaction.
• A prominent personality flying over a mountain: Will be given a province.
• A leader or a power-monger dreaming of flying: Will prevail. If he falls on anything, he will own it.

Incident - The Hidden Walnuts A woman said to Imam Ibn Sirin: "I saw my daughter in a dream after she had died. I asked her: 'Tell me what is the best of deeds?' She replied: 'The walnuts, the walnuts, you must take it out, and distribute it among the poor and the needy, Oh my mother.' " Imam Ibn Sirin replied: "If you have hidden a treasure in your house, then dig it out, and give poor people their share ." The woman said: 'You spoke the truth. Church • Seeing a church being destroyed, burning, or undergoing some other calamity: Stronger religious faith (for the Muslims) and defeat for the polytheists and the hypocrites.
• A church turning into a synagogue or vice versa: Some accident will befall the aliens (non-Muslims) living in an Islamic country.
• Seeing one’s house as a church: (1) Will talk the language of the Christians and turn one’s home into a meeting place for the whimsical, the heretics, and those who commit all sorts of sins. (2) The dreamer’s chief will be angry with him.

Crow A hooded crow in a dream represents longevity, a wealthy person, elderly people or it could represent wonderment about something when awakened. A crow in a dream is also the messenger of winter, cold weather and adversities. Seeing a crow descending upon a noble house means that a corrupt person will marry a noble woman from that house. Seeing a piebald crow in a dream means an affliction that will befall one's son. Owning such a piebald crow in a dream means having a bad son. Slaughtering such a crow in a dream means receiving news from a distant place. In that sense, if a piebald crow speaks to someone in a dream, it means begetting a son who will grow to be a despicable and a corrupt person. Building If one sees his house bigger than it is in reality in a dream, it means expansion in one's material resources. If it grows beyond the normal norms in a dream, it means anxiety, or a delegation that hastens to enter that house without permission, announcing a calamity, or it could mean that a wedding will take place in that house. Building a house in a dream also means extending one's connections, strengthening one's relationship with his kin, friends, or if the person in question is a general in the army, or a leader, then it means building a strong army. • Seeing someone handing you over to the grave: That person is trying to destroy you.
• Vegetation around the graves: The grave dwellers enjoy God’s mercy.

Tree • A tree falling, breaking, or being cut or uprooted by a strong wind: A man or a woman will die or get killed. If it is a palm tree, the person in question will be an illustrious man or the wife or mother of a chief. The olive tree refers to a scholar, a preacher, an interpreter, a ruler, or a medical doctor.
• Extracting semen from a tree: Will obtain money from a man whom such a tree refers to.
