Alley (Corridor; Hallway; Lane; Long narrow lane) Entering a lane in a dream means falling under suspicion and particularly if it has curves. A lane in a dream also means breaking one's oath or mixing and confusing values, or it could mean a road, a method of operating a business, or the techniques used by a craftsman in his trade. Testicles • Seeing one’s testicles inflated and stronger than they really are: (1) Will be protected from any harm. (2) Will have many girls.
• Seeing one’s testicles having been cut or destroyed: (1) An amount of money is due by the dreamer, of which two thousand, two hundred, or simply two currency units are missing. (2) Will be deprived of God’s blessings, have no more children, and face hard times. (3) Will divorce. (4) Will betray one’s country for personal benefits. (5) Will lose one’s children. (6) Will lose one’s purse or money altogether. (7) Will lose the consent of the bride’s sponsors. (8) Will lose one’s family or other relatives. (9) Will no longer be decent. (10) Will contract a skin disease, in particular; alopecia (loss of hair), commonly called fox’s evil; or leontiasis leprosy, known as lion’s evil.

Fish If one sees himself attempting painstakingly to catch a whale in a small pond in a dream, it means money that he will fight for, though he cannot get hold of it without having to cross major obstacles. If one finds a pearl or two in the belly of a fish in a dream, it means that he will marry a rich woman and conceives one or two sons with her. If he finds a ring in the belly of the fish in a dream, it means that he will gain authority and might. Finding fat in the belly of a fish in a dream means acquiring money from a woman. Seeing oneself fishing on a dry land means committing adultery, a sin, or it could mean hearing good news. Catching a fish with excessive bones and scales denotes the necessity to pay one's dues or to distribute alms tax on one's liquid assets, because one cannot enjoy his catch unless he first cleanse it. Seeing sea fish swimming toward sweet waters, or river fish swimming toward the sea in a dream means hypocrisy, falsehood or the rise of an innovator or an impostor. If one sees fish swimming on the water surface in a dream, it means ease in attaining his goals, exposing secrets, unveiling hidden past, reviewing old books or redistributing an old inheritance. Mouse • Obtaining mouse skin: Will get some money, not much, from a debauched woman.
• Throwing arrows or stones at a mouse: Will backbite a licentious woman or exchange correspondence with her on an unholy matter.
• Catching a mouse: Will outsmart a woman and sleep with her. A man who saw himself penetrating a mouse and coming out with a date from its ass asked Ibn Siren about the meaning of such a dream. “Are you married to a corrupt woman?” asked Ibn Siren. “Yes,” said the man. “She will give birth to a devout son.”
• A mouse coming out of one’s rectum: A thankless woman will get out of the dreamer’s life.

Lasso The lasso symbolizes a man whose help is sought or a helper. If it is made of rope, the man is strongly built; if it is made of palm fibers, the man in question is good and handsome. Dreaming of lassoing somebody and the rope falling round his neck means the dreamer will seek the help of that person. Atheism • Seeing many atheists: Will have many children.
• An atheist slave girl: Indecent joy and pleasure.
• Atheists entering the dreamer’s house to fight him: Enemies are after his blood and will succeed inasmuch as they penetrated his home.
• Falling captive in atheist hands: Enormous worries.
• Being held hostage or mortgaging oneself to atheists: Your sins are like a sword hanging over your neck.

Silk Seeing loose silk in a dream means being enamored, or falling in love. If a person in authority wears silk in a dream, it represents his arrogance. Pomegranate Eating pomegranate seeds in a dream means earning easy money. A pomegranate in a dream also represents savings. If it is ripened and tastes sweet, it represents a beautiful woman, a town, a son, a one thousand dollars, a one hundred dollars, or ten dollars depending on the type of work one performs. If a pomegranate is eaten unripened in the dream, it represents suspicious money. As for a ruler or a governor, a pomegranate in a dream represents a city. If he brakes one in a dream, it means that he will conquer or rule that city. Servants (Angels; Vinegar) If one sees servants carrying platters of food, sweets and fruits to serve in one's house in a dream means that someone in that house who had a long illness has just recovered from it, or that he may die as a martyr. Servants in a dream also represent glad tidings. If a king, a merchant, or a man of knowledge see himself eating from the hand of a servant or a nurse in dream, it represents his authority, knowledge, wisdom, falling sick, or it could mean business expansion. Eggplant In season, an eggplant in a dream means earnings with little effort, while seeing an eggplant out of season in a dream denotes negativity and disliked. Eating an eggplant in a dream means falling prices. An eggplant in a dream also represents the element of arrogance, self adulation, perfidy, cheating others, and a man with many faces. Mouse Mice in a dream also represent the members of one's household. Killing or catching a mouse in a dream means taking advantage of a woman. Throwing a stone or shooting an arrow at a mouse in a dream means backbiting or slandering a contemptible woman, or corresponding with her eliciting the unlawful. Seeing a family of mice inside a well or near a slanting land in a dream means nearing the end of one's life. Seeing a large family of mice inside one's house in a dream also could represent a gathering of women, or holding a party in one's house. Pleiades The Pleiades represent a trenchant and foresighted man, because when they appear in the morning they mark the beginning of summer. The Pleiades at the zenith or vertex of the heaven in the morning mean that we are at the middle of summer. Seen in the evening, they herald the start of winter. They also allude to trade, bad religion, divination, and death, as in the case of Ibn Siren, who knew of his own demise ahead of time. (See related biography at the beginning of this book.) Mountain If climbing means gaining a higher station, then descending in a dream means losing rank. If one sees himself climbing a mountain, though at a certain height he finds himself no longer able to climb or to descend in the dream, it means that he will die young. If one sees himself falling from a mountain in a dream, it means that he will fall into sin. If he falls and breaks a leg in the dream, it means that he will become despised by his superiors. Bier • Plenty of biers put on the ground in a given place: The folk of that place are corrupt and indulging in adultery.
• A woman dreaming that she has died and been carried on a bier: Will get married. If already married, will relinquish her religion.
• Biers in the souk (marketplace): That market is full of adulterated goods and hypocrisy.
• Falling from one’s bier: Will be demoted; business and other interests will be stalled, and prestige will be lost.

Bald Baldness symbolizes money from a higher authority that will only bring about hardships and serve no purpose.
• Being bald or backbiting: The dreamer’s chief will lose part of his capital, and his power and prestige will wane. In case the dreamer has debts, this dream means that he will settle them.
• The hair of the head falling, little by little, till the dreamer becomes bald: Money might go and, with it, one’s prestige.

Snake (Boy; Contemptible person; Enemy; Hidden treasure; Idolatry; Innovators; Power; Unjust ruler; Woman) A snake in dream represents a person who lives in a valley. A snake in a dream also means enmity from one's in-laws or children, or it could represent the evil and jealousy of one's neighbor. A sleeping snake in a dream means a sleeping enemy. As for an unjust person, a water snake in a dream means receiving help, or it could represent a verdict. Owning a snake in a dream means gaining power and authority. Sidratul Muntaha Or The Lote Tree Of The Ultimate Boundary • Seeing Sidratul Muntaha complete with all its leaves intact: Many births will occur in the time and place dreamed of.
• Seeing its leaves or some of them falling: Annihilation.
• Seeing the name of a person written on one of the leaves of Sidratul Muntaha turning yellow: That person is about to die. If the leaf falls, he will die very fast or he is already dead.
• Seeing Sidratul Muntaha bare, without any leaves: (1) Bad omen. (2) Good or bad things will be over for the dreamer, owing to the name of the tree in Arabic, which comprises the word muntaha, meaning “ultimate” or “end.” Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Painter (Artist; Illustrator) In a dream, a painter represents knowledge, architecture, wisdom, writing poems, writing love songs or telling lies. Some of the painter's works are beneficial while others are harmful. All depending on the quality of his work, its objectives, balance, resemblance to the object painted and authenticity.
