What Todo When Seeing A Bad Dream And What Todo When Seeing A Good Dream Abu Qatada reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: The good vision are from Allah and the evil dreams are from the satan. If one sees a dream which one does not like, one should spit on one's left side and seek the refuge of Allah from the satan; it will not do one any harm, and one should not disclose it to anyone and if one sees a good vision one should feel pleased but should not disclose it to anyone but whom one loves. Leprosy Leontiasis • Having leprosy leontiasis (the lion’s disease): (1) Endeavours will be foiled as the dreamer is arrogantly defying God. (2) The dreamer is the victim of false and ugly accusations, though innocent.
• Dreaming of the symptoms of leprosy, including mutilations and swelling in the body: (1) Will have money that will last. (2) Will inherit some clothes.

Swine A wild pig in dream is a sign of a severe cold weather. Eating ham in a dream carries benefits for all people, though it is unlawful for Muslims. If one sees a pig in his bed in a dream, it means that he will commit adultery. Little pigs in a dream represent adversities and distress for their owner, or for the person seeing the dream. A domesticated swine in a dream means good harvest, prosperity, or satisfying one's needs and desires. Seeing a swine in a dream also may mean presiding over people of opposing or diverse opinions, or it could mean divorce, evil happenings, spendthrift, acquiring demonic nature, earning illegal money, or having a large progeny. Hair • Dreaming that the head was shaved without remembering having shaved it: Will triumph over enemies and become strong.
• A woman dreaming that her hair was shaved: Will be abandoned by her husband or die.
• A woman dreaming that her husband has shaved her head or shortened her hair at the Kabah (the Muslims holiest shrine, in Mecca (Makkah)): She will settle her debts, and her wishes will be fulfilled. If her husband had done so elsewhere than in Mecca (Makkah), he will hold her captive in her house, as if he had cut the wings of a bird. It could also mean that he would slander her. Garden If one enters a garden at the season of plucking its fruits in a dream, it means glad tidings, money and increase in one's good deeds, marriage or children. On the other hand, if he enters a garden in the fall in a dream, it means defamation, indebtedness, divorce, or it could mean loss of a child. Seeing a deceased person in a garden means that he is in paradise. A garden in a dream also represents a source of nourishment. Mortuary Wash-House • Seeing someone washing the clothes of a dead person: The washer will do something good for the deceased.
• Washing the dead with pure or holy water: The person seen dead will become poor, but more virtuous.
• Being washed with impure liquids and soap or rather soiled with them: The dreamer is a libertine who fails to observe religious tenets and will be lost more and more while his tyranny will increase.
• A dead person being washed with irrelevant or prohibited items: He is a religiously corrupt person preaching the senseless, unuseful, and irrational.

Jew • Being a Jew means the dreamer will fail to perform the Muslim rites and, therefore, be punished by God while still alive and experience humiliation because, says Ibn Siren, those Jews who had committed an aggression by fishing on a Saturday (Sabbath day), thus transgressing the injunctions of God, were turned into apes. The story is narrated in chapter VII of the Holy Quran, titled “Al-Aaraf’ (The Heights), verses 163–67.34

Archangels Jibril (Gabriel) Seeing Jibril:
• Will embark on a journey to seek knowledge abroad and return successfully. In modern terms, will study and graduate from abroad.
• Will triumph over enemies.
• Will promote virtue and combat vice.
• Being hostile to Jibril or arguing with him: Will arouse God’s wrath and anger and concur with non-Muslims.
• Taking food from Jibril: Will deserve Paradise.
• Jibril looking sad and worried: Will encounter hardships and be punished, for Gabriel is not only the Archangel of Knowledge and Learning but of Chastisement as well.

• A reference to an illegitimate birth.
• Marrying a relative whom Islam prohibits: Will prevail over one’s family.
• Sodomizing one’s father: Will oust him from the country or be hostile to him.
• Having sex with one’s father or mother without ejaculation: Will be good to him or her. If the dream had ended with an orgasm, it would mean the reverse.
• A man dreaming or someone dreaming of him that he is having sex with his mother, sister, brother, or similar prohibited relations seen as dead in the dream: He is not supporting them as he should, but will change his attitude and become fair. It could also mean trouble and worries or, on the contrary, benefit to both parties. If they are seen to be alive in the dream, he does not have much affection for them. Prayer Niche Or Mihrab • A woman praying in the prayer niche: Will give birth to a male child.
• Praying in the prayer niche but not at the right time: Welfare for the dreamer’s progeny or successors.
• Urinating in the prayer niche: Will have a son who will become a Muslim spiritual leader, as the mihrab basically represents the imam.

Harun • Seeing the prophet Harun (Aaron): (1) The dreamer will become the successor of a man because of whom he will have to undergo hard tests and engage in disputes, but will ultimately triumph. (4) The dreamer will win a battle.

Grave If it is the grave of a rich person in the dream, then it means becoming rich or receiving an inheritance. If one sees the deceased person alive in his grave in a dream, it means that such money will constitute unlawful earnings, while in the first instance, the knowledge or wisdom one is seeking will be true, except if the person in the grave is dead in the dream. A stone tomb or a sarcophagus in a dream means profits, a war prisoner, a booty or exposing one's personal secrets. Marriage If a pregnant woman sees herself getting married in a dream, it means that she will give birth to a girl. If she sees herself in her wedding night in a dream, it means that she will beget a son. If a mother who has a son sees herself getting married in a dream, it means that she will marry off her son. Stonemasonry (Cutting stones; Stone carving; Sculpturing) Building a structure in a dream from masonry rather than baked brick represents elevation of one's status, success, or stretching one's hopes. It also could denote concerns about protecting one's wife, adopting what is beneficial, conducting scientific research, or preserving one's heritage. Building the base, the foundation, or the pillars from uncut stones rather than marble in a dream connotes humiliation and poverty. Dye Dye, in general, means respectability and that the dreamer is either secure from poverty or concealing it.
• Dying one’s beard with henna—lawsonia: The dreamer follows in the footsteps of the Muslims Holy Prophet.
• Dying one’s hair but not the beard: The dreamer guards the secrets of his head (chief).
• Dying both the hair and the beard: The dreamer is concealing his poverty and asking people to give him power.
• If the dye sticks to the hair: Prestige will be restored, but only for a while, and the dreamer will display his contentment. However, he will ultimately be uncovered.

Muezzin (Caller to prayers; Muslim caller on the hour of prayers) In a dream, a muezzin represents someone who calls for what is good and blessed, a broker, an officiant who performs the wedding ceremony, the messenger of the king, or his door attendant. If a muezzin recites the entire call to prayers in a dream, it may denote the pilgrimage season. The call to prayers in a dream also may represent a siren announcing a burglary or a fire. Tongue The tongue symbolizes the dreamer’s translator or the person who settles his matters as his heart desires or brings him good or evil. The best dream is that which involves a suitable and well-balanced tongue, not too small, not too long, not too large.
• The tongue appearing longer or larger than usual and the subject seeing himself in the dream pleading successfully and eloquently: Strength and victory.
• Having a long tongue: (1) The dreamer uses obscene language. (2) The dreamer is polite, great, and always victorious.

Minbar (arb. Pulpit; Sermon) A pulpit in a dream represents the Imam, the spiritual guide and commander of all the Muslims who also represents Allah's Messenger (Alayhi-Salam) on earth. A minbar in a dream also represents a blessed abode in the hereafter, and an exalted station through which Allah's Name is glorified. Standing one a pulpit and delivering a poised sermon in a dream means attaining an honorable station. If one does not qualify for such a position, then it means that he will acquire good fame. Marriage Marriage in a dream is also interpreted in association with a trade. If one marries a woman who dies shortly after her wedding in the dream, it means that he will perform a job that earns him nothing but hard labor, toiling and stress. If one marries an adulteress in a dream, it means that he is an adulterer. If one marries a vicious, aggressive or a dominating wife in a dream, it means that his movements will be hampered with various restrictions. If one marries a deceased woman in a dream, it means that he will revive a profitable project he had earlier abandoned. Beating Beatings in a dream also connotes supplications. If one sees himself beating a donkey in a dream, it means that he does not earn his daily bread unless he regularly prays for it. To beat someone in a dream also means cursing him. If he hits him over the head in the dream, it means speaking ill of him and that one cannot retrieve his words or apologize for them. Beating a family member in a dream means that one's wife is committing adultery. Beating someone in a dream also means benefiting him, or it could mean business losses.
