Moon If the stars and the planets have no light in the dream, then they mean a calamity. In a dream, seeing a sun and a moon on one's right side and the same on his left side, above him, in front of him and behind him means a calamity and a defeat that will force one to retreat or to escape but to no avail. Abu Bakr and 'Umar In A Dream Narrated Salim's father: about the Prophet's dream in which he has seen Abu Bakr and 'Umar: The Prophet said, "I saw (in a dream) that the people had gathered. Then Abu Bakr stood up and pulled out one or two buckets full of water (from a well) and there was weakness in his pulling -- may Allah forgive him. Then Ibn Al-Khattab stood up, and the bucket turned into a very large one and I have never seen any strong man among the people doing such a hard job. He pulled out so much water that the people (drank to their satisfaction) and watered their camels to their fill, (and then after quenching their thirst) they sat beside the water." Being Given Victory Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand." Moon The moon symbolizes the emperor, the supreme commander, or a person as influential as the former. The stars around it are his soldiers, the Pleiades are his houses or his wives and slave girls. It could also refer to the knowledgeable man, the scholar or all sorts of guides, evidence, references, and indications, for it lights people’s way in the darkness, especially during the last three nights in the Arabic month, which are the darkest. It alludes as well to children, the husband or wife, the master, and the beautiful female, owing to its beauty, particularly when it is full. Likewise, the moon alludes to whatever increases and decreases, because this, in fact, is what happens to it regularly when it starts as a crescent, turns into a full moon, then becomes again like a bracket. The new moon, or crescent, also represents a king, a prince, a commander, a leader, the newborn as it starts appearing from the vagina or as it utters its first cries, the hot bread just coming from the oven, a person reappearing after a long absence, the muath-then, or the one who cries for prayers, as he appears in his minaret, the orator at the podium, et cetera. Milk Milk in general symbolises the Fitratul Islam and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-alayhi-wasallam). Fitratual Islam means the natural religion of Islam while Sunnah means the actions of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-alayhi-wasallam). Fat person (Heavy weight) If one sees himself unusually fat in a dream, it means increase in his wealth and richness. If he is wearing a yellow gown in the dream, then his dream represents a light sickness that will not last. Horse • A horse dying at a person’s hands or in his house: The death of such a person.
• Riding on a white-footed horse with a white fringe and all white harness while dressed as a full-fledged horseman: Will gain power and prestige, merit praise, and live secure from all enemies. A bay, roan, or reddish brown horse would be best if the dreamer were a combatant. The salamander (a color of Arab horses) refers to dignity and disease.
• Riding on a horse and making it run till it sweats: Will be overcome by passion and commit sins to earn your living. It is noteworthy that sweat emanating from running is an expenditure on some sinful matter, in view of the verse of the Holy Quran that reads: “Run (flee) not, but return to the good things of this life which were given you, and to your homes, in order that ye may be called to account. House • An iron house: Its owner will have a lot of prestige and live long.
• A house made of gold: Fire will break out there.
• Coming out angry from one’s house: Will go to jail in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And [mention] Dhun-Nun,30 when he went off in anger and deemed that We had no power over him, but he cried out in the darkness, saying: There is no God save Thee. Be Thou glorified! Lo! I have been a wrongdoer.” (“Al-Anbiya“ [The Prophets], verse 87.)
• Entering the neighbour's house: Will become his confidant or, if the dreamer is immoral, he will betray the neighbour with his wife and in his livelihood.
• A bachelor building a house: Will marry a high-class woman.
• Seeing a house from afar: Life will give the dreamer what he desires, but far away or after a long time.
• Entering one’s house made of concrete or clay and situated amidst other buildings: Will make an honest living.

Abu Bakrah And The Scales Abu Bakrah narrated: "One day the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "'Who among you had a dream?' A man said: "I did. I saw as if a scale had descended from the Heavens in which you and Abu Bakr were weighed So you outweighed Abu Bakr. Abu Bkar and 'Umar were weighed, and Abu Bakr outweighed ('Umar). Sesame oil In a dream, sesame oil represents someone who enjoys a material and a spiritual life. If burned, then its light means guidance, and if heated to fry something, then it represents something valuable. Jewel • Looking at a jewel or a pearl that does not gleam or glitter or any kind of glass that does not shine: Beware of strangling disputes and hardships because, says Ibn Siren, the hot, running blood (nafs) in the body is like the refraction of light in glass and jewelry. Yahya • Seeing the prophet Yahya (John): (1) Will become very pious, fear God, be immune from plagues, and have no equal in view of the following verses in the Holy Quran: “O Zakariya! (Zacharia) Lo! We bring thee tidings of a son whose name is Yahya; on none by that name have We conferred distinction before.”62 (“Maryam” [Mary], verse 07.) Then Zakariya prayed unto his Lord and said: My Lord! Bestow upon me of Thy bounty goodly offspring. Lo! Thou art the Hearer of Prayer… And the angels called to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary: Allah gives thee glad tidings of (a son whose name is) Yahya, (who cometh) to confirm a word from Allah, lordly, chaste, a Prophet of the righteous.” (“Al-Imran” [The Imran Family], verses 38–39.) (2) Will enjoy good life and a prominent position. (3) Will receive good tidings. YAWN. Yawning means that the dreamer will be ill. YUNUS. Dreaming of the Prophet Yunus (Jonah) means: (1) The dreamer is an impulsive and highly emotional person. (2) His hot temper might drive him to jail, but only for a while; then he will be saved from trouble. However, joy and happiness will not last forever. Eclipse If a cloud covers the light of the sun in a dream, it means that a sickness will befall the leader of the country or the governor of the land. If one sees the sun moving above the clouds but cannot come from under it in a dream, it means his death. The sun in a dream also may represent a great scholar. Zikr If during his dream one speaks words of truth and wisdom, it means that he will recover from his adversity and be cured from his illness. Furthermore, he will move into a more comfortable life and begin a life of sharing and doing good deeds in this world, or he may receive guidance and light, and faith will permeate his heart. Incident - Abdullah bin Omar wanting to see a dream Do not merely talk!" The angels then took him to visit hell-fire, which was folded up like a well. In it he saw some people he knew, but the angels pulled him away from them to the right. When Abdullah woke up, he told his dream to his sister Hafsa, the wife of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. In turn, Hafsa, God be pleased with her, related the dream to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) who commented: "Indeed, Abdullah is a righteous man. Angel • Angels greeting the dreamer: Will be gifted with foresight and a happy ending.
• Seeing oneself as an angel: (1) If facing hardships: Relief will come. (2) If a bondman: Will be freed. (3) If an honest person: Will rise to leadership. (4) If a patient: Will die.
• A Jew seeing angels praying for him: Will embrace Islam in view of the Quranic verse: “He it is Who blesseth you, and His angels (bless you), that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and He is Merciful to the believers.” (“Al-Ahzab” [The Clans], verse 43.) Ophthalmologist (Eye doctor; Oculist) In a dream, an ophthalmologist represents a spiritual guide who brings people out of darkness into light and who brings peace and unity between beloveds. An ophthalmologist in a dream also represents a teacher who entices people to seek knowledge, to reflect in advance about the consequences of their actions and to develop a sharp sight.
