Quran • Using the Quran as a pillow: The dreamer does not respect and preserve properly his Mushaf, despite the injunction by the Holy Prophet not to do so.
• A person with bad memory having managed to memorize the Holy Quran: The dreamer will become a king (or almost), owing to the verse that reads as follows: “He said: Set me over the storehouses of the land. Flute (Fold; Instrument) In a dream, a flute represents good news. To hear the sound of a flute in a dream means announcing someone's death. Playing the flute in a dream means developing a good understanding of things. Pregnancy (9) He brings together men and women. (10) A robber will break in his house. (11) A wicked woman will hide in his place. (12) He is sowing in the wrong land. (13) He will steal something and hide it. (14) He will perish by the cord (a homonym for pregnancy in Arabic, the word for both being habl). (15) He will get ill after eating dates. (16) He will have a dropsy (kind of swelling). (17) A foreigner dear to the dreamer will be buried at his place. (18) The dreamer is a liar who brags and pretends that he can do impossible things. Drawers Looking into the perfumery drawer or the drawer where the precious stone balance is stored in a dream means high winds of profits, satisfying one's needs and reuniting with one's family. A paper storage drawer means longevity. In general, a drawer in a dream represents glad tidings. Ali Seeing Ali in a dream also means having a blessed progeny, vanquishing one's enemy, presiding over the believers, hardships during travels, booty, manifestation of blessings and miracles, acquiring extraordinary knowledge, following the leading practices of Allah's Messenger, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, or fulfillment of one's commands. If one sees him as an old man in a dream, it means establishing a connection with the leadership of the land and profiting from it. Sword If one's head is cut off with a sword in a dream, it means that the one who received the blow will triumph over the one who beheaded him, or receive benefits through him . If one's body is dismembered with a sword in a dream, it means that he may travel far, or that his progeny will disperse across the land. A sword in a dream also represents wealth, power or knowledge. Waving a sword during a duel in a dream means becoming known in one's field or profession. Head • Recovering one’s head, which had fallen without reason: (1) Financial gains. (2) Will recover, if ill.
• Replacing one’s severed head and seeing it working: Will be killed in Jihad (holy struggle).
• Seeing a head on a metal or wooden spearhead: A reference to a high-ranking official.
• Seeing a head in a container stained with blood: A chief is lying to the dreamer.
• The neck having been hit with a sword, sending the head reeling on the ground: (1) If ill, will heal. (2) If indebted, will settle debts. (3) If the dreamer has never been to Mecca (Makkah), he will go there. (4) If worried or at war, will be relieved. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Loom In a dream, a standing loom represents travels or business activities. A loom laying flat in a dream means inhibition, restraint, or seclusion. In a dream, a loom also means support or a gift for a needy person. It also means a high ranking position or becoming a respected chairperson. Spit Spittle symbolizes a man’s wealth and power or capabilities. Warm spittle is a reference to life, while cold spittle alludes to death.
• Spitting: The dreamer is backbiting.
• Spitting on a wall: (1) The dreamer is investing in business. (2) The dreamer is financing Jihad, or holy struggle.
• Spitting on the ground: The dreamer will buy land or a farm.

Dog • A domestic dog: An unjust and dangerous enemy.
• Seeing a saluki or greyhound: The dreamer is loyal and helpful to the sultan, who will give him a province and make him rich. The saluki is a man one can rely upon in winning a victory over his enemies, but he is mean and has no chivalry or gentlemanliness.
• Seeing a Chinese dog: Will mix with foreigners, non-Muslims.
• A hunting dog: Richness, high rank, and prestige.
• Hunting with dogs: Will achieve one’s objectives and satisfy inner passions.

Enemy If one's enemy advises him in a dream, it means that he will betray him. If one sees an enemy invading a land in a dream, it means that a destructive flood will devastate that place. If one's enemy confides to him or pleases him in a dream, it means that he will suffer distress and adversities. If one is captured for a ransom by his enemy in a dream, it means that he indulges in sins and that he is a hostage of his own sins. Mulberry Tree (Sycamore, bibl.) In a dream, a mulberry tree represents a person in a high position who has many children, who is big in size but ill mannered, who benefits no one, though he remains well respected. If one gets some of its fruits in his dream, it means that he will receive something from such a person. If he is hurt by its thorns in the dream, the same will take place in wakefulness. When maple trees, tamarisk trees and shrubs are mixed together in a dream, they mean victory and glad tidings for one who is contemplating a war or gearing for a fight. Flying • Flying with birds: (1) Will flock with foreigners. (2) For an evil person: Bad omen. (3) Possible crucifixion. (4) For a fisherman: Coming ordeal.
• Flying with wings that do not resemble bird wings: Something extraordinary will happen to the dreamer, and people will marvel.
• Flying without wings: Fear and hardships, but also fulfilment of a wish and rising in life as high as the dreamer rose in the sky.

Shoe • Taking off one’s shoes: The dreamer will triumph and be given a high post in view of verse 12 of the Quranic chapter called “Ta-Ha,” in which God, addressing Moses, says, “Verily I am thy Lord! Therefore put off thy shoes: Thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa.” (Moses then triumphed over the pharaoh and prevailed.)

Human being To see one of the children of Adam (Alayhi-Salam) one does not recognize in the dream perhaps may represents oneself. If he does good, then it represents one's own deeds, and if does evil, the seer may pursue the same. If one recognizes such a being in the dream, it means that he will receive something from him. If one likes what he receives from him in the dream, it means that he will attain his personal goals. If he receives a shirt in the dream, it means an appointment to a high ranking position. Laughing If one sees the earth laughing in a dream, it means a good harvest in that land. If one sees a deceased person laughing in a dream, it means that he is in paradise, and enjoying the blessings of the hereafter. Laughing in a dream also represents light headedness, frivolity and buoyancy. This is particularly true when it denotes capable people, or people in authority, where laughing in a dream could mean their dismissal from office.
