Pepper (Black pepper; Hot pepper) Pepper in a dream represents security money that insures the capital investment. Eating pepper in a dream means drinking a lethal drink or a bitter tasting medicine, or falling victim to a bad spirit, or earning money with commendation though through hard work. Incident - a Bowl full of Ants A person said to the learned Imaam that has a glass bowl in which he eats his food. He saw in his dream that it is filled with ants. The Imaam asked him whether he has a wife. He said: “Yes”. Then he asked him whether he has a slave as well. He said: “Yes”. He said: “Drive him out of your home. There is no goodness in keeping such a slave”. The man returned home depressed and worried. When the wife saw him in a depresessed and worried. Truffle Up to three truffles symbolizes mean and useless or thankless individuals of either sex. Truffles, like mushrooms, fungi, and plants that have no roots, symbolize foundlings, natural children produced by adultery, persons of unknown origin, and those who cannot stand on their feet, or money that comes spontaneously and without effort, like a gift, a donation, a grant, or any sudden and unexpected source of gratification. This belief is reinforced by the fact that the Muslims Holy Prophet is reported to have said that truffles were a kind of manna, which, according to the Webster dictionary, is food miraculously supplied to the Israelites in their journey through the wilderness. Aqiq • One Aqiq stone: (1) Return of an absent one. (2) Recovery of a sick person. (3) The freeing of a prisoner. (4) More faith and the abiding by the Holy Prophet’s Tradition.
• One bead: A friend who has nobody to support him.
• Many beads: Illicit gains.
• Dreaming of Aqiq and of doing, at the same time, something prohibited, such as slaughtering a pig or presenting people with pork or dead meat while aware of the sinful character of such an act: The dreamer is ungrateful to his parents and to God, in view of the resemblance of the word Aqiq to oqooq, which in Arabic conveys that meaning of ingratitude.
• Being given Aqiq: Will follow the example of the donor. Losing it means the reverse. Owning plenty of aqiq: Money and general welfare, as much as was seen.

Swine (Pig) In a dream, a swine represents an avowed and a fierce enemy who is perfidious, worrisome, anxious, who does not act upon what he says and who lies and tricks people. Riding a swine in a dream means that he will earn a large some of money. If one eats it raw, cooked, or broiled in the dream, it means that he swallows unlawful money, or knowingly eats impermissible food. Fig Paradoxically, some interpreters hate dreams involving figs in view of other Quranic verses relating to the story of Adam and Eve wherein God says, “And We said: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely [of the fruits] thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrongdoers” (“Al-Baqarah” [The Heifer], verse 35) and “And [unto man]: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden and eat from whence ye will, but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrongdoers.” (“Al-Aaraf’ [The Heights], verse 19.) Vomit Vomiting is a reference to repentance of one’s own free will, unless it occurs with difficulty or the dreamer resents its taste. Vomiting while fasting, then splashing in the vomit: The dreamer has a debt that he could settle but would not, thus committing a disgusting sin.
• Drinking milk, then vomiting milk and honey: Repentance.
• Swallowing pearls and vomiting honey: The dreamer will learn the interpretation of the Holy Quran and use it.
• Vomiting milk: The dreamer will repudiate Islam.

Sky • Being in the first of seven heavens: (1) The dreamer will become a minister, if eligible, because, says Ibn Siren, this heaven is the orbit of the moon, the sky’s prime minister. (2) Death is near.
• Being in the second heaven (the orbit of Mercury): The dreamer will acquire knowledge and wisdom and enjoy self-sufficiency or contentment or will become a leader.
• Being in the third heaven (the orbit of Venus): The dreamer will be dignified and welcome everywhere and have plenty of girls and goods of all kinds, procuring the utmost joy.
• Being in the fourth heaven (the orbit of the sun): The dreamer will be close to the ruler.
• Being in the fifth heaven (the orbit of Mars): Terror, or the dreamer will become a police chief or a warrior, go to war, et cetera.
• Being in the sixth heaven (the orbit of Jupiter): The dreamer will be happy and prestigious and conclude fruitful business transactions.

Walking If one sees inanimate objects such as a tree, a rock or a mountain walking in a dream, it represents major adversities and plagues. The movement of inanimate objects in a dream also means being dogmatic about one's spiritual stand. Walking like animals in a dream means emulating ignorant people, seeking the unattainable, or being a hypocrite, unless if the animal is permissible for food, then such style of walking means offering good deeds. • Seeing Malek: Will be questioned or arrested by the police.
• Malek smiling: Will be safe from prison.

• Malek giving some nice food to the dreamer: (1) You love God, His Messenger, and the believers. (2) You will have more dignity and power. (3) You will abstain from hypocrisy and sins. (4) You will return to the right path after erring.
• A cordial and enthusiastic Malek: Will be safe from Hell.

Tree Ancient Arab dream interpreters said that whereas the tree referred to the man’s deeds, religion, or ego, its leaves symbolizes his character, its beauty his nice shape and clothing, its branches his brothers, relatives, folk, and beliefs, its heart his hidden essence and his secrets, its bark his appearance, skin, and all that he uses to adorn himself with, and its semen his faith, piety, assets, and life. The tree also represents the female kind, for it is irrigated; it bears (fruits) and delivers. Hug To embrace a woman in a dream means embracing the pleasures and attractions of this world and to despair of any reward in the hereafter. To hold tight to a piece of fruit, or to endear certain food one loves in a dream means easy profits or lawful earnings. If an unmarried person holds tight or embraces a garment in a dream, it means that he will get married. If one hugs a pair of shoes in a dream, it means that he will hold a new position or a job that will make him extremely happy. Wrestling (Fight; Struggle) If one sees himself wrestled to the ground in a dream, it means that he may lose his wealth. However, the one who is wrestled to the ground in the dream will ultimately be victorious. The winner in the dream is the loser in wakefulness. If there is a witness during the fight, then it could mean that the winner in the dream may become the winner in wakefulness. House • An old house crumbling on the dreamer: Will inherit.
• The apartments of a house or rooms of an apartment symbolize the dreamer’s women.
• According to Christian dream interpreters, says Ibn Siren, sweeping the floor of one’s house means deep worries or sudden death. Others think it is the reverse.
• A house being demolished: Its owner will die.
• Buying a new house: Plenty of welfare.
• One’s house larger than usual: More well-being and fertility. And the dreamer will enjoy welfare through a woman.
• Carving or decorating a house: Quarrels and rivalry will take place in that house.
• Demolishing a new house: Evil and worries.
• Being in a new, unknown plastered house in an isolated area and hearing some evil talk: A reference to the dreamer’s grave.

Horse If one sees his horse drowning in a dream, it means that he may die from an illness. Buying a horse and tending the money to the seller in the dream means profits in one's business, or earning money from teaching. Selling one's horse in a dream means doing good and being grateful for it. If one's horse bites him in a dream, it means that he will lead an army in a war. Bread • Eating bread without food: The dreamer will be sick without anybody looking after him and will die lonely.
• Eating bread with honey: Will seek knowledge and wisdom and be better off, because honey indicates good knowledge and bread comfortable living.
• Eating bread and salt: Contentment.
• Eating vinegar with bread: Long life.
• Eating thin (unleavened) bread: Contradictory interpretations like short life, few gains, and abundance.
• Unfinished bread: Strong fever, as this bread has to go back to the oven for completion.

Ant • Seeing ants carrying food and entering the dreamer’s house: Welfare will increase. The reverse is also true.
• Ants coming out of the dreamer’s nose, ear, or other holes: (1) If the dreamer is happy to see them getting out, he will die as a martyr. (2) If he resents the feat, dangers are lying ahead.
• Ants entering a country or a village: Soldiers will intrude. The reverse is also true.
• Ants escaping from a town or a house: Thieves will make it with their booty.

Mill (Grinder; Press) In a dream, a mill represents a school, a courthouse, a balance, justice, righteousness, benefits, blessings, money, food, charity, or marriage. The millstone in a dream represents a wife and a husband. The flour that issues from between the two grinding stones represents sperms or children. A mill in a dream also means distress and adversities, uptightness, headache, a rivulet, or a windmill. If one sees a mill grinding human beings in a dream, it means loss of lives and adversities. Mortuary Wash-House The mortuary wash-house is a merchant and a philanthropist who saves scores of people from worries. It could also refer to an honest man who brings back to the right path many people who had gone astray or were misleading others.
• Washing a dead person: Will help an irreligious person repent.
• A dead person washing himself: Those he left behind will have no more worries and see their money increase.
• Seeing people requesting the washing of a corpse but failing to find it: The one seen dead has committed plenty of sins; people are trying to bring him back to his senses, but he pays no heed.

Vomit Vomiting a snake in a dream also means death, or distancing oneself from one's enemies. Vomiting in a dream also means wasting money on food, or unnecessary dieting for a poor person. Vomiting in a dream also has positive connotations for a poor person, but has negative ones for a rich person. If a ruler or a governor sees himself vomiting in a dream, it means that he will refund people taxes he unjustly collected from them.
