Family support (Alimony; Maintenance) To provide support for one's family and relatives in a dream mean prosperity, protection for one's children and concern for one's posterity. If one is going through difficulties and sees his mother in a dream, it means that help will come his way from sources he does not anticipate. Glass If the name of a king is written on it, it means that the life of that king will soon come to an end. Glass seen in the form of a container is the least harmful. The Holy Prophet is said to have predicted the slaying of his own grandson, Al-Hussein (from his daughter Fatema Al-Zahrae), when told that he was seen in a dream holding a bottle. The Prophet said, “I shall collect in it the blood of Al-Husain.”28 Dreaming of dropping a glass bottle that breaks means the dreamer’s wife will die. • Seeking someone’s help to buy mortuary balm for a cadaver: The seeker is mediating in favour of a person who lost religious faith or asking to be given something to alleviate his own poverty or ordeal of any type.

Ayyoub - The Prophet With Exemplary Endurance And Patience • A sick person seeing Job: Will recover and be fit.
• Wearing Ayyoub’s clothes: Will be plagued in many ways, extremely unhappy, separated from loved ones, and handicapped by a multitude of diseases; then all those woes will be gone and the dreamer will be praised by higher-ups.
• A woman dreaming of Ayyoub’s wife: Her money or entire wealth will be usurped, and she will be exposed, to be saved later.

Jew • Being a Jew means the dreamer will fail to perform the Muslim rites and, therefore, be punished by God while still alive and experience humiliation because, says Ibn Siren, those Jews who had committed an aggression by fishing on a Saturday (Sabbath day), thus transgressing the injunctions of God, were turned into apes. The story is narrated in chapter VII of the Holy Quran, titled “Al-Aaraf’ (The Heights), verses 163–67.34

The scratch of a cat in a dream means that one will be betrayed by his servant. The bite of a cat in a dream represents a hoaxer or a crooked woman. Sheep • Slaughtering a ram without knowing why, but by observing the Islamic slaughtering rites: Will unexpectedly triumph over someone or testify truthfully against him. If the Muslim rituals are not observed, it means that the dreamer will kill, torture, or commit an injustice.

Arrow The arrow symbolizes a messenger; correspondence; an indication; and strength and triumph over enemies. For a woman, it refers to her husband. The weaving arrow represents an emissary, a circumcised boy, long life, or clothes.

Shield (Armor; Coat of mail) Abroad piece carried by warriors for their protection during their fight. In a dream, a shield means a faithful but an arguing friend. A valuable shield in a dream represents a beautiful and a wealthy wife, or any female acquaintance or relative. If the shield is worthless in the dream, then it means the opposite. Blind Blindness symbolizes religious aberration. It means that the dreamer has forgotten the Holy Quran. It could also be an indication that the dreamer himself is being forgotten.

• Dreaming that someone has made you blind: That person is leading you astray and making you change your mind.

Madness Madness alludes to many things, foremost among which is love passion. It also refers to beating and, conversely, to good deeds.
• Being insane: (1) The dreamer will obtain as much money as he appeared mad, but will spend beyond his means with the help of an evil companion. (2) The dreamer will inherit clothes. (3) The dreamer will wield tremendous power or become a ruler, if eligible. (4) The dreamer will go to Paradise.
• A little boy going mad: He will bring his father a fortune and make him rich.
