• A king seeing a gemstone: A dominion will be added to his realm.
• A woman seeing a gemstone: Will get married.
• A gemstone in a ring: Dignity, money, and other gifts from God.
• A gemstone in a bracelet or an anklet that loosens by shaking: The fate of brothers and relatives will be similar to the condition of the bracelet or anklet and the symbols that every gemstone represents. Gemstones, in general, symbolize procreation, money, a high post, livelihood, a servant, dignity, beauty through ornaments, and the secret of the profession. Bier The bier symbolizes a good man who has helped many people repent.
• Seeing a bier: Mean people will be destroyed by a hypocrite.
• Seeing oneself on a bier: (1) Money will increase. (2) Will befriend other Muslims as if they were brothers, in view of the fact that the bier is a kind of bed or couch—the same Arabic expression used in the Quranic verse that reads: “And We remove whatever rancor may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised.” (“Al-Hijr,” verse 47.)

Hand • Having short hands: (1) Chances have been or will be missed. (2) The dreamer is impotent. (3) The dreamer will be disappointed by brothers or assistants.
• The right hand longer than the left: The dreamer is good to his parents, other relatives, and even strangers.
• Paralysis of the hands: The dreamer will commit a great sin.
• Paralysis of the right hand: The dreamer will beat an innocent man and commit an injustice vis-a-vis a weak person.

Aqiq Is a name given by Arabs to a very large variety of semiprecious stones, if not all of them. It translates as cornelian, if the stone is reddish, or agate, if otherwise. The clearer and the more reddish the stone, the more expensive it is. In any case, for pious Muslims Aqiq is invaluable, in view of a Hadeeth (statement reportedly made by the Holy Prophet) according to which Aqiq repels poverty. It is also believed to have been the first stone that recognized the unicity of God (sic).20 The best quality is the one found in Yemen, hence the appellation Aqiq yamani, and the Muslims first choice is the white color and also the brownish red called in Arabic rommani kabedy, which literally means “having the color of liver like pomegranate.” There are also famous varieties called jaze, a kind of black and/or white beads, and sabaj, which is utterly black. Lesser qualities are simply called kharaz, or beads. It is noteworthy that Hobal, the Arabs foremost idol before Islam prevailed, was said to be made of Aqiq. Its eyes were fascinating. Wearing Torn Garments If a person wears torn clothes while he is mending them it means his financial condition will improve. Also he is to acquire adequate sustenance. Sweat • One’s clothes being wet with sweat: Will save money for children as much as there was sweat.

Pomegranate The pomegranate tree is a man who has the best of two worlds. Its thorns prevent him from committing sins. It could also represent a woman, and eating it is a good thing, according to Ibn Siren. Cutting it down means that the dreamer will fail to support his family and in-laws. Sweet pomegranate or one of an unspecified taste symbolizes a fortune that the dreamer has gathered. Sour pomegranate is troubles and worries. Drunkenness • Getting drunk and tearing one’s clothes: The dreamer is of the type who cannot behave properly when prosperous. Blessings are too much for him. He is ungrateful and has no self-control.

Garment Wearing a good quality garment in a dream means prosperity in this world and in the hereafter. Wearing a woollen garment in a dream means renouncing the world and calling on people to do the same and to desire the benefits of the hereafter. Wearing a green robe in a dream brings benefits and no harm. If a living person sees himself or someone else wearing green in a dream, it denotes his religious devotion. As for a deceased person, it means a good state and acceptance before Allah Almighty. It is also said that wearing a green garment in a dream means receiving an inheritance. Wearing a white garment also means glad tidings. If a fabric merchant or a tailor sees himself wearing a white garment in a dream, it means lack of work. Wearing a black garment in a dream means a bad omen, but if one is used to wearing black clothing, then it means honor, wealth and receiving a high ranking position. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Bracelet for the Upper Arm If symbolises some unpleasant matter caused by his brother or friend. If it is made of silver the matter will be less unpleasant and it will disappear in a short period of time. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Marriage • Conversely, marrying a religiously prohibited relative (wife’s sister, for example) who is alive and well: Will not support parents and in-laws.
• A woman dreaming of a dead man marrying and penetrating her: Her wealth will shrink, she will suffer from instability, and her luck will change. If the dead man took her to his home, which she had not seen before, she would die.
• Marrying a woman who then dies: Will endeavour in a matter, only to reap nothing but sorrow.

Tree Ancient Arab dream interpreters said that whereas the tree referred to the man’s deeds, religion, or ego, its leaves symbolizes his character, its beauty his nice shape and clothing, its branches his brothers, relatives, folk, and beliefs, its heart his hidden essence and his secrets, its bark his appearance, skin, and all that he uses to adorn himself with, and its semen his faith, piety, assets, and life. The tree also represents the female kind, for it is irrigated; it bears (fruits) and delivers. Receiving an Unsheathed Sword if a person sees himself as receiving an unsheathed (naked) sword and he lifts it above his head but does not strike with it, it means he will wield such power as will make him popular; or he will father a very beautiful girl. Breast (Woman's milk-producing glands) A woman's breast in a dream represents one's wife, progeny and a large property. They also represent honor and prosperity. Their beauty is her beauty, and their ailment is her illness. If one sees a woman hanging down from her breast in a dream, it means that she has committed adultery and that she will give birth to a bastard son. If a man sees milk coming from his breast, and if he is poor, it means that his poverty will end, his life will be a long one, and he will even carry the financial responsibility of caring for two of his brothers. Peacock, Crow or Magpie A peacock may be interpreted as a wealthy non-Arab king who adopts much embellishments and who has many followers. The same applies to a royal white falcon or eagle. But if it is a crow or a magpie, it represents an evil person. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Parasites Any parasite whose life depends on the human body symbolises a perbond family. If a person sees stomach-worms and lice walking on his body in great numbers or he sees them walking on his clothes it suggests that he will acquire much wealth and many male children. Intestines Exposed intestines in a dream mean the surfacing of hidden money. Eating someone's intestines in a dream means denying him his money, or discovering a hidden treasure. If one's intestines and bowels are taken out from his body for washing, then placed in a container in a dream, it means his death and the washer represents the undertaker. Shoemaker (Beautician; Broker; Woman) A shoemaker in a dream represents someone who brings peace and unity between adversaries, a lawyer, a peacemaker, a scholar or a sheikh who specializes in jurisprudence relating to inheritance laws. A shoemaker in a dream has many meanings. Some shoemakers specialize in repairing women's shoes. In that case, in a dream, he represents a pimp or a brothel owner. Hand • One’s hands becoming those of a sultan: Will wield power and influence and behave like that sultan, be he fair or unfair.
• An ailment in the hand: Brothers are facing difficulties.
• Being handless: Will demand money, which will come.
• Shaking hands with a Muslim who withdraws his hand: You will entrust him with something, but he will fail you.
• The hand being severed: (1) The dreamer will give up something he was doing or resign his job. (2) The dreamer will change profession. (3) The dreamer will somehow part from a friend or an associate.
