Old woman In a dream, an old woman represents the ending of one's life in this world, sorrows, the hereafter, wine, or bearing children after having lost hope in one's fertility. An old woman in a dream also could represent deceit, cunningness, duplicity, backbiting, or slander. Seeing an old and sick woman in a dream may mean impotence, weakness, or disability. Seeing a thirsty old woman in a dream means drought. If she turns a young girl in the dream, then she represents rain. If an unknown old woman visits a sick person in a dream, it means his death. Room • Building a room on the top of the house, while the wife is crying and wailing out of disapproval and despair: The dreamer will have a second wife or a concubine. If the wife looked beautiful and was perfumed and smiling (in the dream), the dreamer will receive a promotion and be better off. A sacred person dreaming of going up to an unknown room: He will be secure or the quality of life will improve and bring about plenty of joy and happiness. If ill, he will go to Heaven.
• Climbing to an unknown room followed by a crowd: The dreamer will become a chief, a spiritual leader, et cetera.
• A bachelor dreaming of being in a room: He will marry a beautiful, wise, and religious lady.

Prematurity (Also look under Beard.) Prematurity is not favoured by the interpreters of dreams, except for the ability to speak early, because, says Ibn Siren, man is a talking animal. So the act is more or less natural. But for the rest it heralds a scandal or death. Bad dreams of that kind involve, for example, little children with beards, getting married, or kids having a baby. Bird (Fowl; Man; Woman) An unknown bird in a dream represents the angel of death. If one sees a bird diving to the ground to pick a pebble, a paper, or a worm, then if he soars away from a house that hosts a sick person in a dream, it means that the sick person will shortly die from his illness. If one sees a bird diving toward him in a dream, it means a journey. If one sees him standing over his head, or over his shoulders, or sitting in his lap in a dream, it denotes one's work or profession. If the bird is white in the dream, it means that one's work is clean, If his color is tanned in the dream, it means that one's work is tainted. If a male bird sits in the lap of a pregnant woman in a dream, it means that she will beget a boy. If a female bird sits in her lap in a dream, it means that she will beget a girl. Tree • A tree falling, breaking, or being cut or uprooted by a strong wind: A man or a woman will die or get killed. If it is a palm tree, the person in question will be an illustrious man or the wife or mother of a chief. The olive tree refers to a scholar, a preacher, an interpreter, a ruler, or a medical doctor.
• Extracting semen from a tree: Will obtain money from a man whom such a tree refers to.
• Seeing in a house an unknown tree of the type representing women: A fire will be lit in that house in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. (“Ya-Sin,” verse 80.) Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Horses Running through Cities If horse are seen running through cities or between houses it means floods, rains and disasters are imminent. But if such horses are seen with saddles it means the person seeing the dream will meet lots of people who will have gathered together for some happy or unhappy occasion. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Ants (Army) In a dream, ants represent weak and covetous people, an army, a family, or longevity. Seeing a colony of ants entering a city in a dream means that an army will occupy that city. A colony of ants in a dream also represents a heavy populated area. Seeing ants over one's bed in a dream means having many children. If ants leave one's house in a dream, it means that someone in the family will leave that house. Incident - The conflicting interpretations He said that he first made a careful study of the character of both the persons and saw signs of evil present in the first person and interpreted his dream accordingly in the light of this verse of the Holy Quran : then a claimer proclaimed; O people of the caravan Surely you are thieves!. As for the second persons he saw signs of virtue and piety present in him and therefore, interpreted his dream in the light of the following verse of the Holy Book : And proclaim (O Ibraheem!) to the people about Hajj! The narrator of this incident says: “Matters turned out exactly as the Imaam had interpreted.” At times, athaan could be interpreted announcement, information and notification. Lying (Blunder; Lies; Tell a lie) Lying in a dream means giving false testimony in court, fabricating a lie, slandering someone, or it could mean constant failure in one's life. Lying in a dream also means talking nonsense, or letting one's imagination do the talking, or spreading a sharp idea. If someone hears that in a dream, and if he spreads the word, then the negative effects of his doing will bring more harm than good. Dress • Dreaming that unknown people have come to you and dressed you in pompous clothes without there being any feast or marriage, then left you alone in a house: You will die.
• The dead giving the dreamer two well-washed Arab male robes: Will become prosperous.
• The dead lending his robe to the dreamer, then asking for it back: That dead person has very few good deeds to his credit and cannot hope for much of God’s forgiveness. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Tooth • The upper teeth falling on one’s knees: A male child will be born.
• Teeth falling on the ground: Death.
• Teeth growing in the heart: Death.
• Catching a falling tooth and refraining from burying it: Will give advice to whomever that tooth refers to.
• All the teeth of healthy, free persons, or travellers falling: (1) Long disease. (2) Troubles of all kinds but no death, because the teeth of those who die do not fall. Therefore, the same dream is a good one for those who are already ill. It means that they will recover fast. (3) For travelling merchants the dream means that their luggage or cargo is light, especially if the teeth were seen moving.
• All the teeth falling, but catching them up in one’s sleeve or seeing them falling on the knees: Will live long, till all the teeth fall, and will have a large family at home. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Star Seeing the stars scattered in a dream means the death of great leaders or scholars, or it could mean a war. Seeing the stars falling down on earth then disappearing, or the lights of meteors entering the earth atmosphere in a dream, represents a great destruction and death. The falling of small stars in a dream signifies the death of unknown people and the meek ones, while the falling of large stars represent the death of renowned people. Yusuf The prophet Yusuf (Joseph) talking to the dreamer or giving him something: Will become an expert in the interpretation of dreams, as well as history and its chronology.
• Seeing Yusuf: (1) The science of dream interpretation. (2) Kingship and succession. (3) The loss of one’s family, children, and other relatives. (4) A machination against the dreamer. (5) Drought and high prices, as was the case in his time.63 (6) Prison and release from prison. (7) Luck with women, as Yusuf is said to have been of an unequalled beauty. (8) Victory over the enemy, followed by a pardon. (9) An allusion to seas, rivers, and drainage facilities. (10) The transportation of the remains of dead persons from one country to another. (11) An outstanding miracle such as the one that happened to Yusuf’s father when he recovered his eyesight and he received the shirt sent to him by his son. (12) Will be the least lucky among his brothers, who will be so wicked as to let him go to jail, but he will then be saved by God, his brothers, will submit to his authority, and he will forgive them along with other enemies. Eyes If one sees that his eyes belong to an unknown person in a dream, it means that he will become blind. If he recognizes that person in the dream, it means that he will be married to his daughter. If one's eyes fall into his lap in a dream, it means the death of his brother or son. The eyes of a human being in a dream also represent his beloved, his son or his faith. Broker (Auctioneer; Middle man; Stockbroker) A broker in a dream represents someone who brokers for either good or evil, or he could be someone broadcasting his own esteem. Such a person will be well recognized in wakefulness. A broker in a dream also represents a marriage broker, or a pimp. If an unknown broker visits a sick person in a dream, he then represents the angel of death. The visit of the undertaker in a dream means the same. Tree • A sick man sitting on top of or owning a tree: His fate will depend on the condition of the tree as witnessed in the dream.
• A healthy person sitting on top of or owning a tree: Will get or fail to get what he wants (be it sex, marriage, or anything else), depending on the condition of the tree.
• Owning plenty of trees: Will become a leader or a judge of men.
• Plenty of trees in a house: Men and/or women will assemble there for something good or bad: (1) If the trees bear good and tasty fruits alluding to welfare and prosperity and people are eating from them: A banquet will be given there. (2) If the fruits are bad or allude to unhappiness: The assembly will be for a funeral rite. (3) If there is a sick person in the house and the fruits seen in the dream were unknown: The fate of the patient will depend on the season and the condition of the trees. Door post (Doorjamb) In a dream, a doorjamb or a door post represent the sire of the house or his bottler. If the door post is removed in a dream, it means dismissal of such a person from his work. Truffle Up to three truffles symbolizes mean and useless or thankless individuals of either sex. Truffles, like mushrooms, fungi, and plants that have no roots, symbolize foundlings, natural children produced by adultery, persons of unknown origin, and those who cannot stand on their feet, or money that comes spontaneously and without effort, like a gift, a donation, a grant, or any sudden and unexpected source of gratification. This belief is reinforced by the fact that the Muslims Holy Prophet is reported to have said that truffles were a kind of manna, which, according to the Webster dictionary, is food miraculously supplied to the Israelites in their journey through the wilderness. Speaking to the Dead If a person sees himself as asking a dead person about anything regarding the dead persons or anothers condition then the answer of the dead person will be true to its word- whether good or bad- for the dead person dwells in the world of truthfulness (ie. Meat Beef in a dream means hardships, toiling and lack of work. Holding a mutton inside one's house in a dream means meeting with a new person, accepting an invitation, or inviting a person one has never met or known to share a meal. Seeing a whole skinned but uncut mutton inside one's house in a dream means a sudden adversity, loss, calamity, or death. If the mutton is fat, it means that one may receive an inheritance from a will which is left by a deceased relative. If it is skinny, it means that one will inherit nothing from him.
