Wound If one is wounded in his thigh in the dream, it means that his clan will grow stronger. If one sees himself wounded in his legs in a dream, it means longevity. If one's foot is wounded in the dream, it means that his authority and control will become firmer. If one receives a cut and no blood runs out of his wound in a dream, it means that the assailant will say something true about his victim, representing the answer the person in the dream needs to realize. A bleeding wound in a dream also means being subject to backbiting, though what will be said is true. If one sees an angel piercing his stomach with a sword, whereby he thinks that he is dead in the dream, it means that he may suffer from an ulcer which will ultimately heal. House • Entering a new house in an identified location, among other houses and with complete amenities but whose owner is unknown: (1) If poor, will get rich. (2) If rich, will get richer. (3) If worried, will be relieved. (4) If having disobeyed God, will repent. If the landlord is known, the dream will apply to him. In case the house was made of concrete or clay, the dreamer’s fortune will be blessed; otherwise, if the house was made of bricks, which entered the fire, the gains would be illicit and sinful. The dimensions of a house—big or small—allude to the dreamer’s condition: living comfortably or not, being generous or not, et cetera.

Tongue The tongue symbolizes the dreamer’s translator or the person who settles his matters as his heart desires or brings him good or evil. The best dream is that which involves a suitable and well-balanced tongue, not too small, not too long, not too large.
• The tongue appearing longer or larger than usual and the subject seeing himself in the dream pleading successfully and eloquently: Strength and victory.
• Having a long tongue: (1) The dreamer uses obscene language. (2) The dreamer is polite, great, and always victorious.

Thief A thief in a dream also represents an assassin, the angel of death, a visitor, or someone asking for marriage. If there is a sick person in the house and a thief enters that house in a dream, it means the death of the ailing person. If a thief comes to one's house and takes nothing from it in a dream, it means the recovery of sick person from his illness. A thief in a dream also can be interpreted to represent a cunning person, a deceiver, an adulterer, a hunter, a backbiter, someone who asks for things that do not belong to him, a lion, a snake, a Satan, eavesdropping, or one's mind, desire and passions. • One-quarter of the cow’s meat: Tragedy will befall the dreamer’s woman.

The milk of predatory animals and stingers in a dream means making peace with one's enemy. King If a king sees himself walking in a dream when a common subject comes near him and whispers something in his ear, the commoner here represents the angel of death Izrail, and it means that the king may die a sudden death. Eating from the hand of one's servant in a dream represents the growing of one's authority, increase of his business, knowledge, or wisdom. If a king sees himself preparing a banquet for guests in a dream, it means that his opponents will come to argue their case, though he will win over them. If he sees himself placing food on the table in a dream, it means that a messenger will come to see him concerning a dispute. If the food is sweet, then the problem will end nicely. Milk The milk of a fox in a dream denotes a passing illness which will be followed by borrowing a small amount of money, or it could mean recovering from an illness. Coal Burning coal in a dream also denotes someone who is unjustly suffering from hardships and trials or someone who's property is unjustly confiscated. Bird The unknown bird symbolizes the Archangel of Death; a traveller; labour; or a man’s actions or deeds. Big and ferocious or rapacious birds are the kings, chiefs, prominent people, scholars, and rich people or those who make a good living. Waterbirds represent the nobles who hold two posts at a time, since these birds do as they like in the water and in the air. They could also symbolize people who travel by land and by sea. Dreaming of them is better than dreaming of any other species, because they have an easier livelihood and are less rapacious. Singing birds or those that wail simply refer to singers. Small birds are the young boys.

Bird (Fowl; Man; Woman) An unknown bird in a dream represents the angel of death. If one sees a bird diving to the ground to pick a pebble, a paper, or a worm, then if he soars away from a house that hosts a sick person in a dream, it means that the sick person will shortly die from his illness. If one sees a bird diving toward him in a dream, it means a journey. If one sees him standing over his head, or over his shoulders, or sitting in his lap in a dream, it denotes one's work or profession. If the bird is white in the dream, it means that one's work is clean, If his color is tanned in the dream, it means that one's work is tainted. If a male bird sits in the lap of a pregnant woman in a dream, it means that she will beget a boy. If a female bird sits in her lap in a dream, it means that she will beget a girl. Mikhail (The archangel Michael, Alayhi-Salam.) Seeing the archangel Mikhail (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream means prosperity, wealth, blessings in one's life, good harvest and rain. If a pious person sees him (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream, it means success, attaining one's goals and fulfilling his intentions in this world and in the hereafter. If an unallahly person sees him in a dream, it represents a warning that could precede the destruction of a town or a village, or a calamity during which the person seeing the dream also could suffer. If one sees him (Alayhi-Salam) in a town in a dream, it means a rainfall, good harvest and low prices for that year. If he speaks to the person seeing the dream, or gives him something in the dream, it means joy, blessings and glad tidings of entering the heavenly paradise, for he is the angel of mercy. Jar If one's wife is pregnant and he sees himself carrying an earthenware jar that falls and breaks, it means that his wife may die from complications during her delivery or after giving birth to the newborn. In a dream, an earthenware jar also can be interpreted as a hard-working woman, or a servant, though a copper jar represents a noble woman. Ajar of wine in a dream represents woman's menstrual period. If one drinks from ajar of wine, it means that he will have sexual intercourse with his wife during that period, which act is forbidden in Islam. If the jar is filled with eating oil, honey, or milk, it represents a hidden treasure. The same interpretation applies for a small clay jug, a mug, a cooking earthenware, or a tin pot. Ruby The ruby symbolizes joy, entertainment and luxury and the friend whose heart is tough. A small number of rube stones alludes to women; more is money.
• Wearing a ring with a ruby: The dreamer will be pious and make a name for himself.
• A man hoping or expecting that his wife will give him a male child taking a ruby: She will have a girl.
• Wearing or hoarding a ruby ring: Wife is pregnant. (1) If wife is already pregnant, she will give birth to a girl who will soon die. Planet • Swallowing planets without chewing them: (1) Noble people will mingle in the dreamer’s business and secrets. (2) The dreamer will die.
• Planets falling: The dreamer will lose his hair and become bald.
• A planet falling in a place: A tragedy will befall a notable in that place.
• Planets falling and sprinkling: (1) Death of great kings. (2) War in which many soldiers will perish.
• Small planets falling: Death of unknown, weak, or persecuted people.
• Seeing planets during the day: Scandals, major events, and catastrophes.
• Seeing the morning planet: A harbinger of marriage. Seeing it at one’s place on a dark night means that the dreamer himself will get married, and vice versa.

Egg For medical doctors, gifted persons, and poultry farmers, eggs mean welfare. For the rest, few eggs mean benefits; many eggs means deep worries. Big eggs refer to boys and small ones to girls. For bachelors, eggs often symbolize marriage. For married people, eggs are the forerunners of childbirth. Eggs also represent hidden things.
• Eggs in a container: Slave or maiden girls, in view of the Quranic expression “[Pure] as they were hidden eggs [of the ostrich].” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verse 49.)
• The dreamer’s hen having laid an egg: Will be blessed with a male child.
• Cooked eggs without shells: Blessed gifts and benefits.

Dog (Bitch; Canine; Desire; Greyhound; Japanese spaniel; Pekingese; Lust; Puppy; Shepherd's dog; Tyke) In a dream, a dog represents an insolent man who dares to indulge in sinful actions. If he barks in the dream, it means that such a man is impudent and has a repulsive and an abominable character. A dog bite or his scratch in a dream means harm caused by one's enemy and its effects will depend on the amount of pain one suffers in the dream. It could also mean falling sick or suffering from great affliction or harm caused by a close companion or a servant. If a dog tears off one's clothing in a dream, it means that a vile person is slandering and backbiting him. Feces Excreting in the wilderness, then covering one's Feces with dirt in a dream means hiding money. To defecate in a marketplace in public in a dream means incurring Allah's displeasure and the curse of His angels. Throwing Feces at someone in a dream means starting a fight or opposing him in opinion, being unjust to him, or causing him great losses. The consequences also may backfire at the assailant. If one sees himself standing inside the sewers and searching through the filth with a stick in his dream, it means that he might become a judge and be accused of bribery or misuse of people's money. Seeing human excrements in a dream means abstraction of movement, stalling of businesses, or facing complex and harmful adversities. • Pig milk: The brain or mind of the dreamer will be altered. Too much of it means dirty money. Conversely, a small quantity means blessed gains. The contradiction arises from a verse in the Holy Quran that reads as follows: “He hath forbidden you only carrion, and blood, and swine flesh, and that which hath been immolated to (the name of) any other than Allah. But he who is driven by necessity, neither craving nor transgressing, it is no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (“Al-Baqarah” [The Heifer], verse 173.) Star Seeing the stars scattered in a dream means the death of great leaders or scholars, or it could mean a war. Seeing the stars falling down on earth then disappearing, or the lights of meteors entering the earth atmosphere in a dream, represents a great destruction and death.
