Lame • Being lame or handicapped, unable to stand on one’s feet: (1) The dreamer is not strong enough to press ahead with his demands. (2) The dreamer will be disappointed by those relatives whom the handicapped part of the body refers to.

Nacre Nacre symbolizes the servant, especially an old woman serving ladies. It also represents the slave or simply a girl. Dreaming of owning or being given mother-of-pearl means one will get a servant. If such a shell is broken, the servant will die. If it is just lost, the servant will flee or resign. Testicles According to Al-Nabuls, the testicles are the center of pleasure and the organs responsible for hair growth. The left one, in particular, is where male children come from. They may also symbolize movement; endeavours; what a person lays his head on to sleep, like pillows; or certain pairs such as husband and wife, twin children, two trades, two chamberlains guarding a door, et cetera, especially female couples, like two sisters, two girls, two wives, and a mother and her sister. Whatever happens to the testicles in the dream will befall those persons. If the testicles are severed, for instance, the dreamer’s two wives will die or he will divorce them. If he knows of two female patients, they will pass away, and so on and so forth. Other possibilities include an allusion to money, the purse, parity and equity, and the persons without whose consent a marriage cannot take place. One testicle could be a reference to a steelyard. Itching In a dream, itching means poverty and suffering from the pressures of a demanding wife and children. If one's itching results in bleeding or puss in the dream, it means that they will get what they want. Otherwise, one's toiling for his livelihood will prolong. Toilet According to Al-Nabulsi, in his alphabetical book of dreams the toilet represents the relief, welfare, and largesse of the household or, on the contrary, the hardships, poverty, and stinginess. It also alludes to the wife whom the dreamer takes aside to an isolated place in the house to make love to. Likewise, it symbolizes the one among the slave girls or servants who is in charge of the dreamer’s very intimate affairs, massage, and hygiene or the servant who guards the house. Other interpretations include the dreamer’s treasury, his coffer where he preserves his secrets, his shop where he keeps his money, or any secluded place.

Molars and Pre-molars These symbolise a persons paternal and maternal uncles and aunts. The upper ones will then symbolise the males and the lower ones the females. If a person sees any of these as fallen, and he does not pick them up nor or count them, it means one of his relatives will die. Ant Many ants symbolize soldiers, progeny, money, or long life. Conversely, they also allude to a weak and careful person. Seen on a bed, they represent children.

• Ants coming out of their hole: Trouble and worries.

Foal Or Colt The foal, or colt, and the filly (the female) refer to the son and daughter or simply a boy and a girl, slave or not. Dreaming of riding on a colt without saddle or reins means one will sodomize a boy underage or a delinquent one or will experience fear and worries. The same applies to the filly. Sky • Being in the first of seven heavens: (1) The dreamer will become a minister, if eligible, because, says Ibn Siren, this heaven is the orbit of the moon, the sky’s prime minister. (2) Death is near.
• Being in the second heaven (the orbit of Mercury): The dreamer will acquire knowledge and wisdom and enjoy self-sufficiency or contentment or will become a leader.
• Being in the third heaven (the orbit of Venus): The dreamer will be dignified and welcome everywhere and have plenty of girls and goods of all kinds, procuring the utmost joy.
• Being in the fourth heaven (the orbit of the sun): The dreamer will be close to the ruler.
• Being in the fifth heaven (the orbit of Mars): Terror, or the dreamer will become a police chief or a warrior, go to war, et cetera.
• Being in the sixth heaven (the orbit of Jupiter): The dreamer will be happy and prestigious and conclude fruitful business transactions.

Adam • Seeing Adam: (1) The dreamer has committed a sin and should repent. (2) A reference to one’s father or ruler or to knowledge. (3) Will become a ruler or governor if eligible for such an honour. (4) Will be deceived and captured by one’s enemies, then released after some time. (5) A reference to the interpreter of dreams, because Adam was the first ever to have dreamed (of Eve) and understood what dreams expressed. (6) A harbinger of the pilgrimage to Mecca (Makkah). (7) A coming together of the beloved ones. (8) Will have plenty of children, but more boys than girls. (9) Forgetfulness and absentmindedness. (10) Trickery and ruses. (11) The dreamer is mixing with snake charmers, poison makers, spiritualists and mediums, who are the demons spokesmen. (12) A reference to rough garments, weeping, or a malaise due to unhealthy food. (13) A long journey, perhaps to where Adam first descended on Earth. • Piercing a pearl with a wooden nail: Will make love to a prohibited relative. A man told Ibn Siren he dreamed that he was piercing a pearl. “Do you know your mother?” the interpreter asked. “No, she was taken captive when I was a small child.” “Have you recently bought a slave?” “Yes.” “Do you sleep with her?” “Yes.” “Then fear God, for she is that mother.”

Abel Seeing Abel means: (1) The dreamer will be envied and suffer from spite on the part of one’s enemy or be killed without having committed any crime.
