Bread If one sees bread hanging in the skies, over the roofs or hanging down from trees in a dream, it means rising prices and the same interpretation applies for all commodities. If he sees bread scattered on the ground and people walking over it in a dream, it means prosperity in that land which leads to vanity. A good looking loaf of bread represents one's good religious stand, otherwise it means the opposite. Baking bread in a dream means working for one's livelihood. Seeing squandered loaves of bread and not eating from them in the dream means meeting with brothers one has not seen for a long time. Crucifixion • Being crucified alive: Dignity, honour, and religious righteousness.
• Being crucified and dead: Prestige coupled with corrupt religious faith.
• Being crucified and killed or after being killed: Prestige, but the dreamer will be lied to.
• Being crucified without remembering when that happened: (1) Lost money will come back. (2) If the dreamer is poor, will get rich. (3) Bad omen for the rich (according to some interpreters). Jihad (Inner and outer struggle) Joining the warriors in the battlefield in a dream means that one is a true worshiper who attends to his regular prayers and pays his charities and due alms. If one sees the people charging toward the battlefield, it means that they will receive an endowment of divine forgiveness, victory, might and unity between the believers. To die as a martyr on Allah's path in a dream means joy, happiness and prosperity. Joining a jihad battle in the sea in a dream means poverty, failure and walking toward destruction. Pudenda (Also see Naked)
• The pudendum (the area of the body between the navel and the knee) being uncovered: The dreamer will fall in disgrace, his privacy will be invaded, and his enemies will rejoice at his misfortune.
• Showing one’s pudendum by removing one’s clothes or part thereof: The dreamer will lose the major portion of something he had already acquired, save for the equivalent of the part still covered. Such acquisition could be religious knowledge, for example.
• Taking off one’s clothes in a souk, or marketplace, or in a crowd and being shamed because the genitals are protruding, though the clothes have not been removed completely: Scandal, especially if nothing alludes to any kind of philanthropy in the dream. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Road (Avenue; Direction; Path; Trail; Way) A road in a dream represents the divine law. Seeing many roads in a dream denotes deviation from Allah's path, or it could mean religious innovation. Walking on a side road, or yielding at a fork in a dream means going astray. If a highway robber attacks someone in a dream, it means that he will suffer from the loss of a friend. Burial The same interpretation is given if one sees a prophet or a holy man walking out of his grave alive. To be buried after death, after sunrise, at noon or at the sunset hour in a dream means that one is being warned about doing what is good and abstaining from what is evil. To be buried alive in a dream is wrong and means betrayal. It could also mean marriage, prosperity or peace and tranquillity after suffering and hardships. If one sees a deceased person burying him alive in a dream, it means that one's due debts are not paid, or that one will be imprisoned to satisfy his debts, or that his collateral was not accepted. To bury a dead person twice means that one is covering his faults. If one sees a deceased person burying another deceased person in a dream, it means unity, clearing of the hearts, love and friendship between relatives, or perhaps it could mean imprisonment, marriage, a sickness, a trust, or guaranteeing a loan. Seeing oneself being buried after death in a dream means that one needs to repent before death. Should he still walk alive from his burial in the dream, it means that he may repent again. Greetings Greeting someone in a dream means receiving benefits from him. If one greets an opponent in a dream, then it represents evil or war between them. If one sees an unknown old man greeting him in a dream, it means safety from the divine chastisement for one's sins. If the old man is known to him, then it means prosperity. If one is a farmer, it means that he will buy seedlings of fruit trees for his farm. If the greetings are given by an unknown young person in the dream, it means that one will escape from the blow of his enemy. If one is seeking marriage, then the greetings mean a positive reply. Spring (Ascent; Creation; Fountainhead; Season) In a dream, a spring represents money, a child who may die young, a short lived marriage, acquiring an important job that does not last, or a fast disappearing happiness. (Also see Fountainhead) Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Coral (Coralline) In a dream, corals mean money, wealth or a beautiful young woman. Wearing a necklace carrying a coral stone in a dream means heedlessness and straying from Allah's path. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Posterior Part A man uncovering his bottom to the dreamer: Will feed the dreamer well, then turn his back to him. If that man is young and the dreamer sees his anus, he will be snubbed by the latter. In the event of an old man known to the dreamer, that person, in particular, will cause people to turn away from the dreamer. If the old man was unknown, people would turn their back to the dreamer without his knowing why or discovering the source of such an attitude.
• A man uncovering the dreamer till his posterior part appears: He will disgrace the dreamer before his folk.
• A woman showing her posterior part to the dreamer and allowing him to see her anus: Matters will come to a head, and the dreamer will be in business and have influence but contract debts. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Joseph Seeing Joseph (Alayhi-Salam) as a young boy in a dream means having little or no luck with one's brethren. He will be lied to, suffer from imprisonment and other trials before he recuperates, to rise and triumph over them. They will all then become his subject. One who sees Allah's prophet Joseph (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream will also be a pious, generous, charitable, and shares his good advice with those who need it, or ask for it. If Joseph (Alayhi-Salam) talks to someone, or gives him something in a dream, it means that one will understand dream interpretations and learn about Chronicles, or the two biblical books of History. Harvest Throwing the harvest back into the fields means that one's deeds are worthless. To see oneself harvesting outside the season in a dream means devastation, war, or death. Harvesting a green crop in the dream connotes the death of a young person. If the color of the harvest is white in the dream, it means death of an elderly person. Ants Ants leaving their colony in a dream means dying away of the population in that area, or that such a town may become a ghost town. Seeing ants leaving their nest in a dream also means adversities or distress. Though in this case, they represent the small and hard working people. If a sick person sees ants walking over his body in a dream, it means his death. Flying ants in a dream also mean hardships during a journey. Bridge of the Day of Judgement Seeing this bridge in a dream also represents knowledge, truth, believing in Allah's oneness and following the teachings and example of Allah's Messenger Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. If one's foot slips while crossing in the dream, it means that he will miss the true path. If one sees himself walking the path in a dream, it means that he is on the right track, follows what is commanded and abstains from what is forbidden. It also means that one will undergo awesome changes, undertakes major responsibilities and succeeds to reach safety. Ascent An ascent in a dream also could represent adversities, difficulties and dangers. Ascending a steep incline in a dream means danger and descending a steep hill means reaching safety. An ascent in a dream also could represent a bridge, an underpass, a wife, a woman, or a scorpion. Walking through a steep incline in a dream also means rising in station because of one's knowledge, politics, good conduct, fulfillment of one's duties, his caring for others or wisdom. Falling through a steep hill in a dream means falling in rank, losing one's prestige, losing one's money, denying the truth, objecting to one's religion or walking into darkness. Climbing in a dream always means attainment of one's goals. Climbing flat on one's back in a dream has negative connotations. Descending from a steep hill, or from a ship, or coming down form a castle or a mountain in a dream also mean that one's goal will not materialize. Beheading (Capital punishment; Death; Decapitation) In a dream, beheading means freedom from slavery or dispelling sorrows and dismay, payment of one's debts, or it could mean prospering. If one knows his assailant in the dream, it means receiving wealth at his hand. If one is sick, it means that he will recover from his illness, and if he is not sick, it means that he will attend a pilgrimage. If the assailant is a young boy, then it means comfort, joy and relief from his burdens through his own death. If a healthy person is beheaded in a dream, it means the end of his comfort or loss of his job or authority. Anus (Backside) In a dream, it represents the husband or money. If one sees his anus blocked in a dream, it means that he will die shortly. The anus in a dream also represents a lowly person, a cheap musician, a drummer, someone who holds secrets, a kin or a relative with whom it is not lawful to be married. Seeing the backside of a young person in a dream means separation between the two. If it is an older person in the dream, it means a fight between them. Causing cuts in one's anus means severing family ties. Seeing the anus of one's mother in a dream means nullification of one's devotion, cancellation of one's due interests or the stagnation of one's business. Lamp If one sees a sick person rising to the sky and carrying a lamp in a dream, it means the return of his soul to its Lord. If one draws light from someone else's lamp in a dream, it means that he will acquire knowledge. Extinguishing the light of an oil lamp in a dream means attempting to conceal the truth by opposing a truthful witness, yet he will fail to win his case. Carrying a lighted lamp in the daylight in a dream represents a religious and a righteous person. Walking with a lamp during the night in a dream means observing a night vigil and prayers. If such a person is religious by nature, then it represents benefits. Otherwise, it means that he will see wonders. Carrying a lamp at night in a dream also means repentance from one's sins. Carrying an unlit lamp, candle, or torch in a dream means business losses, or problems at the workplace. Cemetery • Seeing a polytheistic cemetery: (1) Worries, sorrow, fear, and unhappiness. (2) Shaky religious faith. (3) A reference to heretic places and solitary confinement.
• A sick person dreaming of entering a cemetery: Will die from his ailment and end up there, especially if he had built a house in it in the dream.
• Entering a cemetery with awe, crying and reading or reciting the Holy Book or praying in the direction of Mecca (Makkah): Will mix with benefactors, be well noted and versed in religion, and will benefit from all that he sees or hears.
