Fortress (Castle; Citadel; Stronghold) A fortress in a dream means obliterating something from its roots or eliminating one's trouble. A fortress in a dream also represents a positive power that eliminates negative forces, or it could represent good verses evil. Pilgrimage • Performing tawaf (turning round the Kabah and praying): The dreamer will be entrusted with something honourable by some imams (Muslim spiritual leaders).
• Performing tawaf on a horseback: The dreamer will make love to a prohibited family relation.

Grape Black grapes during the right season symbolize fear and disease; otherwise they mean trouble and worries. They are also a harbinger of cold weather. Grapes were believed by the ancient Arabs to be harmful. They also thought that no benefit could be derived from the black color and hated black grapes in any case. Among other things, they argued that the grape was originally white, placed near the son of Nuh (Noah). When his father cursed him, it suddenly turned black. Certain dream interpreters felt that the black grape meant nothing but money that will not last. Separate from the bunch, it symbolized extreme fear or chills. Others regarded the black grape as a not so bad dream, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And of the fruits of the date-palm, and grapes, whence ye derive strong drink and (also) good nourishment. Lo! therein, is indeed a portent for people who have sense.” (“Al-Nahl” [The Bees], verse 67.) Leprosy It also means being innocent from false allegations, or being subject to people's slanders. If one's leprous condition spreads throughout his entire body in the dream, it means a lasting prosperity. If one sees himself praying under leprous condition in a dream, it means possessing unlawful and forbidden earnings, or forgetting whatever one has memorized from the Quran. Fig A fig means plenty of money or money from Iraq. A fig tree refers to a man full of money and a philanthropist but to whom the enemies of Islam turn, because such a tree usually shelters snakes. Most interpreters like those dreams involving figs, because Allah swore by it in the Holy Quran when He said, “By the fig and the olive, by Mount Sinai, and by this land made safe; surely We created man of the best stature” (“Al-Tin” [The Fig], verses 1–4.) Vagina (Also see Semen.) The Arabic word for vagina or vulva is farj, from faraj, meaning “relief.” Thus the vagina symbolizes: (1) Relief and comfort. (2) The honey, date, or wine peddler, because sex is as sweet as sugar. (3) A ripper or a bloody person. (4) A wicked deceiver, obedient and humble during daytime and profligate and out of control at night. (5) A foolish slave. (6) A bird’s nest containing eggs. (7) Deep trouble. (8) The fulfilment of requests. (9) Marriage, for the bachelor. (10) Resumption of spending on one’s parents and in-laws. (11) Repentance. (12) Resumption of praying. (13) The prayer niche in a mosque. (14) The Qiblah (the point toward which Muslims turn their faces when praying). (15) A journey. (16) The key to a man’s secret. (17) The unveiling of secrets. (18) A contract53 to set up a company. (19) The discovery of metals, minerals, and all hidden things. (20) The very vagina of a docile woman who gives it only to her man. (21) A prison. (22) The main gate or door of a house that, according to Islamic tenets, visitors should use. (They must never come through back doors, windows, et cetera.) (23) The bathroom, for all the water, heat, et cetera, that is in it. (24) A valley surrounded by hills and mountains. (25) A disease and a medicine that might revive then kill the patient, as the penis becomes erect, strong, and full of vitality when it comes into contact with the vagina, then dies down when its sperm (which feeds it) gets out. (26) A furnace. (27) The oven where paste is introduced to come out as finished bread. (28) The spouse. (29) Pregnancy. (30) Hell or the fatal attraction to it (same as for the penis), since it is the center of burning pleasure. (31) The grave.

Crawling Crawling on one's knees in a dream represents a chronic illness, or praying in a sitting position while being able to stand up in prayers. It also could mean wavering in one's decision to travel and being reprimanded for it, or it could mean losing interest or lacking vigor. If a poor person sees himself crawling in a dream, it means that his needs will be satisfied. If he is a rich, it means that he will become needy. Sorcerer Sorcery and sorcerers refer to unjust statements, lies, dissension, machinations, devilish temptation, vanity, atheism, and the like or the separation of a married couple. They also symbolize ugly acts and baseless, unable, and mean business. The sorcerer or witch is an unfair, untrustworthy, wicked, and cruel enemy. The word sehr, Arabic for sorcery, is almost a homonym of sahar, the last sequence in dreaming before the break of day. Hence dreaming of that kind of dawn means that the dreamer will somehow be involved in magic, in either way, or will commit a sin for which he will have to implore God’s mercy, bearing in mind the Quranic verse: “… and ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness.” (“Al-Dhariyat” [The Winnowing Winds], verse 18.) That period of the night is also said to be the one when dreams are most likely to come true. The word is also close to sohoor, the very late meal that those who fast during the holy month of Ramadan take. In dreams it means that the hero will render his enemies mad; that he will repent if he disobeyed God’s commandments, that he will return to the right path, if an atheist, or that he will become prosperous. Cradle of Ismail (A section of the Sacred House in Mecca.) Seeing oneself praying or standing at the Cradle of Ismail in a dream means bearing a son who will become the principal provider for the family. If one is rich, then seeing the cradle of Ismail in a dream means that he will be debarred from his assets and that his rights to use them will be suspended. Funeral prayers Invoking blessings upon the deceased in a dream means that Allah Almighty has forgiven him. Sitting in a gathering where people are praying for those who passed away in a dream means attending a funeral. Performing the funeral prayers in a dream also means interceding on behalf of a sinner. Stair Every step or degree represents an ascetic person whose proximity benefits the dreamer in terms of piety and religious knowledge. Each step being climbed is better understanding, which will raise the dreamer’s religious standard. For a ruler every degree or step means a year of rule. Some interpreters say that upward steps represent good deeds, the first being prayers, the second fasting, the third religious dues, the fourth alms giving, the fifth pilgrimage, the sixth Jihad, or holy struggle, and the seventh the Holy Quran. The wooden ladder symbolizes a prominent or great man but who happens to be a hypocrite. Climbing a ladder means an evidence will be produced, a portent, in view of the Quranic verse: “And if their aversion is grievous unto thee, then, if thou canst, seek a way down into the earth or a ladder unto the sky that thou mayst bring unto them a portent (to convince them all)!—If Allah willed, He could have brought them all together to the guidance—So be not thou among the foolish ones.” (“Al-Anam” [The Cattle], verse 35.) Jupiter The planet Jupiter refers to the king’s friend or treasurer.
• Dreaming of Jupiter with the moon: A reference to buying and selling (as the name “Mushtari” for Jupiter, in Arabic means “the buyer”), welfare, prosperity, and prestige.
• Seeing Jupiter with the moon, pale, burning, or in a lower orbit: An allusion to readers, storytellers, poets, and interpreters of dreams. It could also refer to praying, fasting, worshiping, and the accomplishment of the pilgrimage rites. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Supplication • The victim of an injustice praying or supplicating God: Will be out of worries.
• Supplicating God several times and seeking His help against Satan: (1) Will learn something wise and useful. (2) Will become self-sufficient. (3) Will be safe from the enemy. (4) Will be secure from a treacherous partner. (5) If ill, will recover, especially where sorcery is the underlying reason for one’s illness. (6) The soul will be purified. (7) Will give up atheism to become Muslim.

Pilgrimage season (Mecca; Pilgrimage) Performing a pilgrimage during its season in a dream means dispelling one's worries, distress, apprehensions or trouble. Praying or delivering a sermon at the valley of Mina during the pilgrimage season in a dream, and if neither the person seeing the dream or anyone in his family or clan qualify for that, it means that someone with the same name among his acquaintances will do so. Gourd • Eating raw gourd: (1) Will have a quarrel and break with somebody. (2) Will be scared by a jinn.
• Sitting in the shadow of gourds: (1) Reunion with family or friends. (2) Reconciliation.
• Getting gourds from a watermelon farm: Will heal from a disease, thanks to a medicine or a prayer, in view of the story of the prophet Yunus (Jonas) as related in the Holy Quran: “Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; and We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him….” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verses 145–46.) Maqam Ibrahim (The Station Of Abraham, Near The Kabah In Mecca (Makkah) The Quran says: “The First House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka (Mecca (Makkah)): Full of blessings and of guidance for all kinds of beings. In it are Signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God” (“Al-Imran” [The Imran Family], verses 96–97.)

Islam • An atheist or a polytheist is dreaming or somebody is dreaming of him that he is in Paradise or is wearing silver bracelets: He will embrace Islam.
• An atheist or a polytheist dreaming that he has entered a bastion: He will become Muslim.
• An atheist or a polytheist is dreaming that he has embraced Islam, that he is praying in the direction of the Qiblah (Mecca (Makkah)), or that he is thanking God: He will convert to Islam. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Jew • Becoming a Jew means: (1) The dreamer will commit all sorts of prohibitions. (2) The dreamer will become a heretic, believe the Jews, corroborate their statements, be lost on the spiritual plane, and show fanaticism in favour of the Hebrews. (3) The dreamer will no longer observe the five pillars of Islam: Attesting that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger; praying five times a day; fasting during the holy month of Ramadan; paying the zakat (a special system of religious dues and alms); and performing the pilgrimage whenever possible. Ablution - Ritual Washing Before Prayers Ablutions symbolize the discharge of responsibility in all honesty, the repayment of a debt, or truthful testimony.
• Conducting ablutions in order to pray: Will be in God’s good books.
• Conducting ablutions in a tunnel or some subterranean passage: Will recover what was stolen.
• Conducting ablutions, then tackling prayers: Will have no more worries and thank God for such relief.
• Conducting ablutions with something impure and improper: Expected relief will not come.

Bathing in the River All this is in the light of this Quranic verse wherein He commands Ayyoob (AS) : Strike with you foot. This spring of water is for bathing, cooling and drinking.
