Onion There are contradictory interpretations of onions. Some like onions; they say that, like all other legumes that have a smell, the onions symbolize the appearance of hidden matters or things. The onion could also allude to money. But others dislike it because, they argue, Moses was quoted in the Holy Quran citing it as a bad reference, in verse 61 of “Suratul Baqarah,” the chapter on the heifer; “And when ye said: O Moses! Voice • Launching a cry in the wilderness: The dreamer’s means of living will decrease.
• Raising one’s voice above that of scholar: The dreamer is committing a sin in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that says: “Lo! They who subdue their voices in the presence of the Prophet Muhammad, those are they whose hearts Allah hath proven unto righteousness. Resurrection If a warrior sees the Day of Resurrection in a dream, it means that by Allah's decree, the aggressor shall be defeated. The land of the grand gathering in a dream represents a chaste woman or a noble man. The blowing of the Trumpet of Resurrection in a dream represents the salvation of the righteous ones. Seeing any of the great extraordinary events or signs that shall precede the Day of resurrection in a dream means glad tidings for a believer who does good, and a warning for a disbeliever to correct himself and repent for his sins before its coming. Seeing the Day of Resurrection in a dream also denotes that some of the major signs are actually taking place, such as blood shedding, spread of evil, belligerence of atheism, pride about wealth, ruling of the working class, building high rises, the end of the era of kings on earth, or it could remind the person of the prophesied signs, such as the rising of the sun from the West, the emergence of a beast that will speak with a human tongue, the rising of the Imposter (arb. Wearing a pearl Necklace If a person sees himself wearing a necklace made of pearls, it means he will commit the Holy Quran to memory and he will become trustworthy and Allah-fearing. He will be a person with a huge family. He will be held in high esteem by men and women alike. Hatred Hatred is a bad dream, because it is the reverse of love and peace, which are blessings from God, and the reverse of blessings is hard ships. The reasoning is based on a verse in the Holy Quran: “… and remember Allah’s favour unto you: how you were enemies and He made friendship between your hearts so that ye became as brothers by His grace” (“Al-Imran” [The family of Imran], verse 103.) Fig A fig means plenty of money or money from Iraq. A fig tree refers to a man full of money and a philanthropist but to whom the enemies of Islam turn, because such a tree usually shelters snakes. Most interpreters like those dreams involving figs, because Allah swore by it in the Holy Quran when He said, “By the fig and the olive, by Mount Sinai, and by this land made safe; surely We created man of the best stature” (“Al-Tin” [The Fig], verses 1–4.) Kabah Praying on top of the holy Kabah in a dream means becoming an apostate. Entering the holy Mosque in Mecca and praying on the roof of the holy Kabah in a dream represents peace, tranquillity, presiding over others, it also means that one will become victorious wherever one goes, though with a questionable conduct, he also may follow innovation and depart from the traditions and teachings of Allah's Messenger, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. Walking by the holy Kabah, or leaving it behind in a dream means going against the traditions of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, following the path of innovation, or interpreting things according to one's own mind and liking. If one sees angels descending from the heavens to lift away the pillar of Allah's House from Mecca and place it in a different town in the dream, it means that people have gone astray and the time of destruction has come. Castle (Fortress; Stronghold) In a dream, a castle means using the vehicle of truth. That is how the proverb; " Truth is a castle " came about. A castle in a dream also represents its owners, an army's fortification, or it may represent knowledge, the Quran, or it could mean seeking refuge in Allah's protection from the evils of the accursed Satan and his armies, such as deities, preposterous or exaggerated titles, etcetera. Night of power (The night in which the Holy Quran was revealed.) Seeing and experiencing the night of power in a dream means that one's wish will come true, even if one desired a kingdom or a great treasure. The same interpretation applies for seeing a celebration of the night of the Nocturnal Journey during which the Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, ascended to the heavens to meet his Lord. Leprosy It also means being innocent from false allegations, or being subject to people's slanders. If one's leprous condition spreads throughout his entire body in the dream, it means a lasting prosperity. If one sees himself praying under leprous condition in a dream, it means possessing unlawful and forbidden earnings, or forgetting whatever one has memorized from the Quran. Tower • Standing on a tower or being in a tower: Bad dream in any case, most probably meaning death, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Wheresoever ye may be, death will overtake you, even though ye were in lofty towers …” (“Al-Nisae” [Women], verse 78.)
• Standing against the wall of a tower: Will triumph and fulfil one’s objectives.

Ironsmith Said he, “If he does not burn you with his fire, you will not be immune from his sparks.” The heat and smoke around him are also bad signs. Dreaming of being an ironsmith taking whatever iron you want and doing whatever you wish with it means you will become a great king or have a wide-ranging influence, in view of the story of David as related in the Holy Quran (“Saba” [Sheba], verse 10): “And assuredly We gave David grace from Us, (saying): O ye hills and birds, echo his psalms of praise! Gourd • Eating raw gourd: (1) Will have a quarrel and break with somebody. (2) Will be scared by a jinn.
• Sitting in the shadow of gourds: (1) Reunion with family or friends. (2) Reconciliation.
• Getting gourds from a watermelon farm: Will heal from a disease, thanks to a medicine or a prayer, in view of the story of the prophet Yunus (Jonas) as related in the Holy Quran: “Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; and We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him….” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verses 145–46.) Maqam Ibrahim (The Station Of Abraham, Near The Kabah In Mecca (Makkah) The Quran says: “The First House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka (Mecca (Makkah)): Full of blessings and of guidance for all kinds of beings. In it are Signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God” (“Al-Imran” [The Imran Family], verses 96–97.)

Learning Learning the Quran, the prophetic traditions, or a craft in a dream means richness after poverty, guidance after heedlessness, or marriage after celibacy. It also means begetting a son, or walking in the company of a spiritual guide. If one sees himself learning an evil act in a dream, it means that his is going astray, or that he is experiencing poverty after richness. Educator A math teacher in a dream represents intellect and wisdom. Adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing in a dream represents common benefits and losses one incurs during the course of his life. A Quran teacher in a dream represents singing, honor or favors. Mosque The main city mosque in a dream represents the Quranic revelation, the ocean of knowledge, a place of purification and washing one's sins, the graveyard where submissiveness and contemplation are evoked, the washing and shrouding of the dead, medicine, silence, focusing one's intention and facing the Qiblah at the Kabah in Mecca. Seeing the main city mosque in a dream also means to recognize something good and to act upon it. It also could be interpreted as the shelter from one's enemy, and a sanctuary and a shelter of the believer from fear, and a house of peace. The ceiling of the mosque represents the intimate and vigilant entourage of a king. Its outstretch represents the dignitaries. Its chandeliers represent its wealth and ornaments. Its prayer mats represent the king's justice and his knowledgeable advisors. Its doors represent the guards. Its minaret represents the king's vice-regent, the official speaker of the palace or it announcer. Islam Saying these testimonies in a dream also may mean returning to one's parents after having abandoned them. It also means returning to a place one has earlier deserted, or to using earlier criterions in one's life. If a Muslim recites these proclamations in a dream, it means that he will testify to the truth in a court of justice, or become known for his truthfulness. Masjid (arb. Allah's House; Mosque; Place of worship) In Arabic, the word Masjid means a place of prostration, while the word Jami means a place of gathering. A Masjid or a mosque in a dream represents a scholar and its gates represent men of knowledge and the guardians, or the attendants of Allah's House. Building a Masjid in a dream means emulating the traditions of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, fostering the unity of one's family, or becoming a judge, should one qualify for such an office. A Masjid filled with people in a dream represents a gnostic, a man of knowledge and wisdom, or a preacher who invites people to his house, advises them, brings their hearts together, teaches them the precepts of their religion and explains the wisdom behind the divine revelations. Seeing a Masjid being demolished in a dream means that such a gnostic, or religious scholar and devout believer will die in that locality.
