Falcon The falcon symbolizes a king. It also refers to a thief that nobody can stop and who surmounts all barriers.
• A slaughtered falcon: Death of a king.
• Eating falcon meat: Money from the king or any supreme authority.
• A person eligible to become a ruler dreaming of a falcon standing obediently on his hand: Will become an unjust ruler.

Market • Stealing or cheating in buying and selling: Will indulge in the worst kind of theft, like that involving people’s bread. If a mujahid—involved in Jihad—will be caught and chained. If a pilgrim, will conquer the heart of a woman and enjoy making love to her. If a scholar, will give bad counsel, will pray the wrong way, will prostrate himself before the imam does, et cetera.
• Seeing a specific market full of people but with fire in it or a spring in its midst or seeing a nice breeze blowing in it or its shops filled with chopped straw: Good earnings for the merchants, but hypocrisy as well.
• The market looking empty and its people dead or the merchants feeling sleepy or looking dormant or the shops closed and cobwebs appearing here and there, even on the commodities: Stagnation and recession.

Honey Purified honey in a dream means relief after suffering from a depression, or recovering from a nervous breakdown, or giving birth to a child after completing a full pregnancy, or it could mean marrying a woman after she had observed her Iddah of either the passing of her husband or divorce (See Iddah), or it could represent clean money, or earnings which are purified through paying the due alms and charities, or it could mean knowledge that is free from innovation, doubt or suspicion, or a final guidance after which there is no heedlessness. Purified honey in a dream also means hard earned money, a medicine, or the embrace and kisses of lovers. Licking honey in a dream means getting married. Scorpion • Killing a scorpion: Money will go, then come back.
• A scorpion burning to death: An enemy will perish.
• Throwing a scorpion on one’s wife: Will sodomize her or commit some abomination with her.
• Finding a scorpion in one’s underwear or bedding: The dreamer’s wife is corrupt.
• Swallowing a scorpion: Will divulge one’s secret to the enemy.
• Scorpions in one’s stomach: Enemies from among relatives.

Sheep • Seeing a skinned ram or any of its limbs at one’s place: Someone will die there.
• Having sex with a ewe: Will obtain undue money and have a fertile but uneventful year.
• Slaughtering a ewe: Will have sex with or marry a woman.
• A ewe giving birth to a baby sheep: Fertility and prosperity.
• A ewe entering a house: A fertile year is ahead.
• Ewe fat: A woman’s wealth. Therefore, slaughtering a ewe to eat its meat means one will inherit from one’s wife and eat-up her wealth. A pregnant ewe: The dreamer is aspiring to something.

Ship If the ship turns into iron in the dream, it means longevity. Eating the wood of a ship in a dream means receiving a sizeable inheritance, or it could mean eating forbidden meat. If one sees a ship talking to him and soothing his understanding in a dream, it means that he will listen to the admonition of a wise man. Fox • A fox calling the dreamer: Will be terrified.
• Playing with a fox: Will be blessed with a woman who loves you as much as you love her.
• Catching a fox: (1) The dreamer will obtain the favours of a woman without there being any great love for her. (2) Will triumph over an adversary or a competitor.
• Eating fox meat: Will fall ill and recover very quickly.
• Drinking fox milk: (1) Will recover from a disease. (2) A worrisome matter will be over.
• Seeing herds of foxes: Magic and ruse will be widespread in the area.

Flesh (Meat) Human flesh in a dream represents one's health, strength, earnings, sickness or one's shop, piety, religious attendance, fear of wrongdoing, scrutinizing the difference between the lawful and the unlawful, patience, forbearance, anger, distress, sexual desires, suffering from adversities and punishment for sins. If one's flesh grows bigger than what one actually has in a dream, it means prosperity, and if one is sick, it means recovering from his illness. Vessel • Riding in a vessel or being picked up by a vessel in the middle of the sea after being sure of drowning: (1) Will be saved from disease, atheism, poverty, debts, and worries. (2) Will get married or buy a slave girl who will satisfy you and save you the trouble of looking outside. (3) Will be freed from jail, unless the ship was not sailing, which would mean exactly the reverse.
• Sailing in a ship with the dead: Will be saved from fleshly temptations.
• Sailing in a vessel on the high seas: Will embark on a journey full of dangers. The farther the ship is from the shore, the more remote the dreamer’s relief will be.
• Reaching the shore and disembarking from the vessel: The dreamer will disobey God, in view of the Quranic verse: “And when they mount upon the ships they pray to Allah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He bringeth them safe to land, behold! they ascribe partners (unto Him).” (“Al-Ankabut” [The spider], verse 65.) Toilet • Getting soiled with the water that overflows from the toilet, which, however, has no bad smell: (1) Coming welfare. (2) Demands will not be met, at least not easily.
• Eating the sewage flowing out of the toilet: (1) Will rescind or come back on something you had donated or alms you had given. The Muslims Holy Prophet is said to have likened the one who changes his mind after donating something or giving alms to somebody who eats his own vomit or excrement. (2) The dreamer will return to corruption and unholy means of living.
• A large and clean toilet with no smell in it: The dreamer’s wife is pleasant, virtuous, and obedient. The cleanliness of the toilet refers to her virtue and obedience, the lack of stink to her good reputation. If, on the contrary, the toilet is tiny and full of dirt, so much so that the dreamer finds no place to sit on it (in the dream), the wife will rebel against the authority of her husband. Dog • Killing a dog: Will triumph over enemy.
• Eating dog meat: Will triumph over enemy and take a bite at his money.
• Drinking dog milk: Fear.
• Using a dog as a pillow: The dog is a friend who will prove useful and whom the dreamer will be proud of.
• Being accompanied by a dog: Disappearance, in view of the story of Ahlel Kahf (The Companions of the Cave), in the Holy Quran. (“Al-Kahf” [The Cave], chapter 18.)
• Seeing the dog of Ahlel Kahf, whose name was believed to be Qitmir: Fear, prison, or evasion.

Crocodile In general, a crocodile in a dream means insolence, sins, a bandit, unlawful earnings, fear and depression. It may also mean the end of one's life, portrayed by his drowning. Seeing him in water is bad while seeing him on dry land means that he is weak and humiliated. If a crocodile pulls someone into the waters in a dream, it means that someone in authority will force him to do something he despises. If one sees himself eating the meat or flesh of a crocodile, or if one sees himself dragging a crocodile out of the water in a dream, it means that he will triumph against his enemy or opponent. Swine The swine is a huge man, rich, and irreligious, with dubious sources of income, a dirty person with long hands, and a mean and stinking atheist.50 Its flesh or meat, its grease, its hair, its stomach, and its skin are cheap and dirty money. Being a swine herd: Will govern low people of dirty origin.
• Owning, finding, or transporting swine: Will obtain dirty money.

Vulture • Vulture meat: Money and influence. The Egyptian vulture, also called pharaoh’s chicken, is an impulsive individual. It refers as well to bad people, bastards, or those who dwell in the cemeteries. Likewise, it alludes to the dead’s washhouse.
• Dreaming of an Egyptian vulture during daytime: Will be sick.
• A sick person dreaming of an Egyptian vulture: Will die.
• Capturing a pharaoh’s chicken: War and terrible bloodshed.

Grill • Grilled poultry: Money obtained from a woman without treachery or wickedness. But if the meat was not well done, the dreamer will speak ill of her in her absence and be unfair.
• Any poultry, be it grilled or fried: Honest but hard gains.
• Dreaming of something which the dreamer knows is burnt in real life: Benefits through injustice.
• A grilled flank: Symbolizes women (because Eve is said to have been created from Adam’s rib). It follows that the side stretching from below the head to half the body is a reference to girls and female slaves. The lower part is an allusion to boys.

Camel • A camel eating meat or going about eating something unknown from each house: An epidemic.
• A camel seen downtown or amid a group of people: An outspoken man will die or get killed.
• A camel chasing people: A tyrant, an enemy, or some flood will wreak havoc in the area.
• Falling from a camel: Will become poor.
• Being thrown by a camel: Will get ill.
• A camel rebelling against the dreamer: Disease, sorrow, and a dispute with a man.
• Being unable to control a camel: Pain from a mighty enemy.

Dog A dog in a dream also represents a police informer or a police dog. A dog in a dream also represents a weak enemy or a niggardly person. If a dog barks at someone in a dream, it means that one will hear something he despises or hates to make public from someone who lacks any sense of honor or virtue. Eating a dog's meat in a dream means cracking down at one's enemy. A dog in a dream also represents a guard or an innovator. Drinking dog's milk in a dream means a scare. Dove • Seeing somebody’s pigeon (penis): The dreamer is an adulterer.
• A pigeon evading the dreamer or flying away to no return: (a) Divorce. (2) Wife will die.
• Cutting a pigeon’s wing: (1) The dreamer will swear not to let his wife out. (2) Wife will deliver. (3) Wife will get pregnant.
• Slaughtering a pigeon: Will deflower a girl.
• Eating dove meat: Will eat up a woman’s money. The ringdove is a wild, dominating woman, if not impossible at least difficult to tame. She is a liar and not quite religious. Cow The cow symbolizes the year in view of the story of Yusuf (Joseph) in the Holy Quran. A fat cow is a fertile year and a thin one an austere year. It also represents wealth and prestige and a woman, par excellence, commensurate with her shape. A milk cow is a useful woman. A cow with horns is a woman of marginal value. The cow’s belly symbolizes assets without value, her navel string the wife’s umbilical cord or an allusion to the wife’s pregnancy. A lost cow is a wife lost to her husband.
• Trying to milk a cow that prevents the dreamer from doing so by using her horns: The dreamer’s wife will hate him and rebel against him. If the cow accepts, in the dream, being milked by another man, that man is betraying the dreamer with his wife.
• A cow with a blaze (white color) on her face: Hardships at the beginning of the year, as the word forefront—in Arabic ghorra—is the homonym for beginning.

Boiled vegetables (Blanched; Boiled eggs; Poached; Stew) In a dream, boiled vegetables, eggs, meat or poached eggs, etcetera, signify fast coming earnings, or a profitable business. Boiled vegetables in a dream also mean paying one's debts, an unanticipated arrival of some thing expected to happen later, celebrations, a wedding or distress, sorrow or poverty. Cooking mixed vegetables with milk in a dream means mixing lineage, or marriage from a different tribe, or it could mean starting a new and a good tradition.
