Homeland To feel a yearning or desire to see one's homeland in a dream means divorce between a husband and a wife, or separation between friends, or experiencing richness after poverty. Incident - The Effect of a Dream's Meaning During a pilgrimage to Mecca, a sheikh was told in a dream that he would die on such and such date. When he returned home, he held that dream to himself and waited for the time to come. Once he passed that date stated in his dream, he waited a few more days, then told someone about it, saying: "I would have hot told you about this dream, had the date not passed." The person replied: "Perhaps you miscalculated the date, or maybe it is a confused dream." After returning to his home, the sheikh died during that same night. This is the meaning of Prophet Muhammad saying: "A dream sits on the wing of a bird and will not take effect unless it is related to someone." Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Arafat If a sinner sees himself praying and repenting at Mount Arafa or near the Mount of Mercy in the Plain of Arafat in a dream, it means that his repentance will be accepted, or that a secret will be exposed, or it could mean that a reunion of beloveds will take place shortly after one's dream. If one sees himself standing in Arafa during the night time in a dream, it means that his goals will be attained and that he will satisfy his quest. If one sees himself standing in Arafa after the sunrise, it means that his question will find no answer. Incident - a Bowl full of Ants He related to him the advice of the Imaam. She asked him what he planned to do. He said he planned to sell. Him. The husband, on learning his immediately set off to look for her. He found her in the city of Harraan where she had repurchased the slave from his new master and married him. Mihrab (arb. Alcove; Niche; Prayer niche) In a dream, a prayer niche or a mihrab represents a leader, a guide, or the Imam of a mosque. Praying at the mihrab in a dream means glad tidings. If a woman sees herself praying at the mihrab of a mosque in a dream, it means that she will beget a son or a daughter. In a dream, the alcoves or shelters that poor people use for their retreats in a mosque represent sincerity, love, devotion, remembrance of Allah Almighty, standing in night prayers, and aloofness. Steelyard (Scale beam) A steel yard in a dream represents a difficult son, or a husband with a temper that is difficult to balance. Incident - Abdullah bin Omar wanting to see a dream Abdullah bin Omar, God be pleased with both of them, related that in his youth, he wished to see a true dream and to hear its interpretation from Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. At that time, Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) used to ask people if they saw any dream and he interpreted them accordingly. Abdullah once prayed: "Lord, if Thou reserves any good for me, then let me see a dream that will be interpreted by Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam." Seeing a mouse of either black or white color going about its own business in the daylight in a dream means longevity. If one sees a mouse nibbling into one's garment in a dream, it means that one will announce his intentions or goals. A mouse digging a hole in a dream represents a thief. A mouse in a dream also could represents a girlfriend, an opportunistic woman, or a lady friend who is hiding her true intentions. Incident - Shaikh Salim Bin Tsa and reading Qur'an Shaikh Salim Bin Tsa once visited Hamza Bin Al-Habib Al-Zayyat, God bless his soul, who had memorized the Holy Qur'an and read it with great devotion, seeking God's pleasure, and saw him crying and rubbing his cheeks with dust. He exclaimed: "I call upon God's protection for you. Oh Hamza, what is this crying?" Hamza replied: "Last night, I saw in a dream that the Day of Resurrection took place. The readers of the Qur'an were called in to stand before God Almighty, and I was among them. I then heard an amiable voice saying: 'Only those who lived by the Qur'an should enter.' I was in shock, so I began to withdraw. A voice called my name: "Where are you going to, Oh Hamza Bin Al-Zayyat?' I cried out: 'At thy command, Oh caller to my Lord.' Kill • Killing without slaughtering: The one seen killed in the dream will benefit from his assailant.
• Killing by slaughtering with a knife or a sword: The killer will commit an injustice toward the victim or will compel or incite the latter to disobey God.

Moon • Looking to the sky and failing to spot the moon, then looking down to find it in bits and pieces on the ground: (1) If a chemist or someone working with gold: Will go bankrupt. (2) If poor: Will have plenty of riches. (3) If a woman: Her husband will be killed.
• Seeing a crescent: Will triumph over enemies.

Saw In a dream, a saw represents a forgiving person, or a mediator who negotiates back and forth. A saw in a dream also may represent a judge, an arbitrator, or marriage. House The house gate or door is the father of the family. The mortise and tenon symbolize the female and male sexual organs as they fit into each other. Locked together, they represent the husband embracing his wife. Planet • Swallowing planets without chewing them: (1) Noble people will mingle in the dreamer’s business and secrets. (2) The dreamer will die.
• Planets falling: The dreamer will lose his hair and become bald.

• Planets falling and sprinkling: (1) Death of great kings. (2) War in which many soldiers will perish.
• Small planets falling: Death of unknown, weak, or persecuted people.

• Seeing the morning planet: A harbinger of marriage. Seeing it at one’s place on a dark night means that the dreamer himself will get married, and vice versa.
