Adz (Adze; Ax) Seeing an adz in a dream signifies continuing progress, permanence, stability, livelihood, profits, money, benefits from one's wife or child. An adz in a dream also could represent the head of a project or the manager to whom one must report about the progress of his work, or it could represent a teacher, a wise man, an educator, one's mouth, one's servant, a greedy person, a sharp tongued woman or it could represent the arrival of a traveller. Seat (Chair) One's seat in a dream represents his capital, wealth, work, profit, joy, happiness, a good son, or a wife who is content with what she has. Seeing a deceased person sitting relaxed in a comfortable chair in a dream means that he is in paradise. A chair in a dream also represents a contractual agreement, making an oath, peace, tranquillity and comfort, or it could mean establishing a business partnership. Minter (Money) A minter in a dream represents a well spoken person who tricks others with his fancy words. If he does not receive a wage for his work, a minter in a dream represents a reliable and an honorable person of a pleasant character and company. Perspiration (Offensive odor; Sweat) In a dream, perspiration means recovering from an illness, or it could represent the stench of death. As for a healthy person, perspiration means work, or a service followed by a wretched life. Perspiration in a dream also represents the common adversities in one's life. Snake Black snakes and pythons in a dream represent army generals. Water snakes in a dream represent money. If one sees his garden covered with snakes in a dream, it means that its trees will bear fruits and exceed the normal crop. A snake coming out of its hole in a dream represents a son. A snake leaving one's house in a dream means its destruction or demolition. Killing a snake in a dream means marriage. Tapeworms or other intestinal worms in a dream represent one's relatives and their children. Seeing snakes eating on one's table in a dream means separation between friends. Desert snakes in a dream represent highway robbers. In general a snake or a serpent in a dream represent jealousy, envy, perfidy, swindling people's properties, deceit and an avowed enmity. A Well in the House If a person dreams that he has dug a well in his house or he merely dreams of a well present in his house and such a well swells with water it means that Allah will grant him much barakah in his wealth and such wealth will become a means of earning him increased livelihood without much toil and hard work. Olives (Blessed tree) In a dream, olives represent money, pleasures, or one's prosperity. An olive tree in a dream represents a blessed man who benefits his family, a chaste woman, or it could mean a son who may become a governor. A yellow olive in a dream represents heavy concerns about one's religious life. If one presses olives for oil in a dream, it means that he will earn blessings and benefits. If one sees himself watering an olive tree with olive oil in a dream, it means that he sleeps with his mother. The same interpretation applies if one sees himself watering a garden with vinegar. Women In a dream, women represent the world, its glitters and pleasures. If one sees women coming toward him in a dream, it means his success in the world. Slave (Bondman; Servant; Submission) If a free man sees himself as a slave, and if he recognizes the person who enslaved him in the dream, it means that he will serve such a person, or perhaps he may blackmail him. Becoming a slave in a dream also means excessive borrowing of money until one becomes a slave to his lenders, or that the compounded interest of his loans weigh heavy on his family, or it could mean reorganization of one's business, or that he may work for his lender to repay his debts, or it could mean that he may develop heart problems, or any debilitating illness. Door post (Doorjamb) In a dream, a doorjamb or a door post represent the sire of the house or his bottler. If the door post is removed in a dream, it means dismissal of such a person from his work. Door If the door of one's house opens to the street in a dream, it means that what one earns will be of benefit to strangers rather than to his own household. The disappearing of a door in a dream means death of the head of that household. Passing through a small door into an open space means relief from difficulties. If one sees himself leaving his house from the main door into a spacious green garden in a dream, it means entering the realms of the hereafter. If one sees two ringlets or door knockers hanging at his door in a dream, it means indebtedness to two people who are demanding to be paid. If one sees fire burning his door in a dream, it means the death of his wife, or it may mean his failure to properly manage that household. The gates of a city represent a righteous governor. Angels If a dying person is told in the dream that no angels have come to see him, then it is a testimony of his good character and piety, or it could mean payment of one's debts or recovering from an illness. Angels in a dream also could represent scholars, Gnostics or translators who understand people's languages and speak in many tongues. Marketplace Going to the marketplace in a dream means seeking knowledge, or looking for work. A marketplace in a dream also represents a mosque, or winning a war. In fact, the merchants and the customers bargain with one another, some win and some lose. If a knowledge seeking student sees himself in a marketplace that he does not recognize, then if he walks away from it in the dream, it means that he will cease schooling or interrupt his studies and fail to acquire his degree, or it could mean that he has missed his Friday congregational prayers. Fasting Fasting during the lunar month of Rajab in a dream means working for people in authority, or it could mean that one may be commissioned to work overseas, or it could mean going on a short trip. Miller (Flour; Moving around in a circle) In a dream, a miller represents a selfish person who is particularly interested in acquiring worldly gains and at whatever price it may cost. If one sees an old man being a miller in a dream, the old man here represents his grandfather, or one's bosom friend and consequently one will prosper and become extremely wealthy from his business. If the miller is a young and a strong man in the dream, then he represents a strong helper. A bakery miller in a dream means that one will attain his own goals through hard work. Shoemaker (Beautician; Broker; Woman) A shoemaker in a dream represents someone who brings peace and unity between adversaries, a lawyer, a peacemaker, a scholar or a sheikh who specializes in jurisprudence relating to inheritance laws. A shoemaker in a dream has many meanings. Some shoemakers specialize in repairing women's shoes. In that case, in a dream, he represents a pimp or a brothel owner. Cat A cat in a dream represents a book of records, one's share from a business, an inheritance, or his work. A cat in a dream also means shunning off one's husband, wife or children, or it could mean a fight, theft, adultery, disloyalty, eavesdropping, backbiting or bearing a child from adultery, a bastard child, or it could represent a gentle speaking person, a toadying person or someone who desires to be accepted by others, and should he find an opportune moment, he will spoil everyone's peace.
