Prison If one who is experiencing difficulties in his life sees himself tied-up to a chair or to a wall in a dream, it means that his problems and fears will be dispelled. If one sees himself building a prison in a dream, it means that he will meet a righteous man, or an Imam who will guide him on the straight path. A prison in a dream also represents paralysis, arrogance, self-deception, or incarcerating troublesome people. If one sees a deceased person in jail in a dream, it means that he is in hell. If one sees himself imprisoned in a dream, it also means that he may enter a forbidden place, a house of a prostitution, or a tavern. Finger (Also see Dye.) Fingers are the brother’s children, since it is believed that the hand represents the brother. Those of the right hand refer to the Muslims five compulsory daily prayers. The left hand fingers are the children of the brother or sister. The thumb is the dawn prayer, the index finger the noon prayer, the middle finger the early afternoon prayer, the ring finger, the sunset prayer, and the little finger the evening prayer.
• Having long fingers: The dreamer observes his religious duties, especially prayer. The reverse is also true.
• The imam (the Muslims spiritual leader) having long fingers: He is too greedy, tyrannical, and unfair to his subjects.
• A finger falling: Will abandon the related prayer.
• Seeing one finger in the place of another: The dreamer is performing the right prayer at the wrong time.

Ocean Standing over seawater in a dream means attaining something one did not seek. Walking in the air above the seawater in a dream represents the perbond good intentions, his clarity, faith and certitude. If a sick person sees himself taking ablution in seawater in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness, or it could mean payment of one's debts and relief from worldly pressures. Adam Father of humanity, Alayhi-Salam. In a dream, Adam represents the elements of sin and repentance. He also represents one's father or the governor of the land. When seen standing in a noble fashion, Adam also represents attainment and honor. If Adam addresses the person in question in the dream it means that the latter will acquire knowledge. Laugh Paradoxically, laughter means sorrow, in view of the Quranic verse that says: “Then let them laugh a little: they will weep much, as the reward of what they used to earn.” (“Al-Taubah” [Repentance], verse 82.) It could also mean that the dreamer will have a son, again because of a Quranic verse, which says: “And his wife, standing by, laughed when We gave her good tidings [of the birth] of Isaac, and, after Isaac, of Jacob.” (“Hud,” verse 71.) Shroud Or Mortuary Winding Sheet • Dreaming of being wrapped in a shroud like the dead, except for the head and feet, which remain uncovered: Religious corruption or simply things will go wrong.
• Weaving a shroud for a dead person: The dreamer will do something good in memory of the deceased or in favour of his offspring as much as the winding sheet was big, beautiful, or valuable.
• Weaving a shroud for a living person known to the dreamer: Hardships and trouble for the latter.
• Weaving a shroud for a person dreamed of as unknown but alive: Good augury.

Exhume (Dig up a grave; Unearth) Exhuming the body of a deceased person and finding him alive in his grave in a dream means pursuing his tradition, knowledge, wisdom, trade or practices. It also means acquiring lawful money. If one finds him dead in his grave, then there is no benefit in his striving. A grave robber or a body snatcher in a dream represents a deliberate and a premeditated scheme to unravel a mystery, or forming an expedition to search for a hidden treasure. Digging the grave of a renowned scholar in a dream means studying his school of thought and the restoration of his studies, life, traditions and prominence. Dwellings If one sees his dwellings crumbling or caving in on him in a dream, it means that he will receive an inheritance from the belongings of a deceased relative. Building a dwelling for oneself or for others in a dream means the death of a relative or of one's child, or it could mean divorcing one's wife. Dwellings in a dream also represent a transient station. If the dwelling is built from an unsuitable construction material in the dream, it means that one's source of income is unlawful. One's dwellings in a dream also represent his physical form, carnal self and substance. Demolishing a new home in a dream means evil and adversities. Mental hospital If a deceased person is seen in a mental hospital in a dream, it means that he is dwelling in hell-fire, for a mental hospital sometime uses force with its patients and ties them up, or imprisons them. If one sees himself in a mental hospital in a dream, it means that he might go to jail for a crime he committed. Mixing with lunatics and insane people in a dream also means imprisonment and mixing with criminals, or it could mean falling sick, or dying from a terminal illness. Cradle of Ismail (A section of the Sacred House in Mecca.) Seeing oneself praying or standing at the Cradle of Ismail in a dream means bearing a son who will become the principal provider for the family. If one is rich, then seeing the cradle of Ismail in a dream means that he will be debarred from his assets and that his rights to use them will be suspended. Cemetery If a sick person walks into a funeral procession in a dream, it means that his illness will culminate in his death. If he is not sick and then during that procession he weeps or prays for the deceased person in the dream, it means that he will repent of his sins, join spiritual study circles and serves the people of knowledge. Such a person also may attain a blessed spiritual station and benefit from what he hears and sees. If one sees himself walking in a funeral procession and neglecting respect and contemplation, and instead laughs and jokes, it means that he will befriend evildoers and accept their evil conduct as a standard norm of behavior. Abu Bakr and 'Umar In A Dream Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "While I was sleeping, I saw myself standing over a tank (well) giving water to the people to drink. Then Abu Bakr came to me and took the bucket from me in order to relieve me and he pulled out one or two full buckets, and there was weakness in his pulling --may Allah forgive him. Gargoyle - Or Roof Gutter • Blood flowing in the gargoyles: An enemy will conduct a bloodbath in the area.
• Seeing Meezab Al Rahmah, the Gargoyle of Mercy, in a mosque, a house, or a well-known place should be interpreted as the Zamzam Well (see that name), especially if people benefit from the water flowing from it.

Dome Building a dome over clouds in a dream means marriage, power and rank. Seeing green domes standing between the heavens and the earth in a dream means that one's deeds are raised to be worthy of blessing, or that he might die as a martyr. If one sees four men demolishing a dome in a dream, it means that a renowned scholar in that locality will shortly die and his elements of earth, fire, water, air and either will destroy one another. Funeral A funeral crossing a marketplace in a dream means liquidation of merchandise. Paying tribute to a funeral in a dream means bidding farewell or paying respect to a travelling friend. Paying tribute to a passing funeral procession in a dream represents one's concern for his own comfort. If the deceased in the coffin points at the person seeing the dream, it means that the latter will conduct his funeral, and he will receive a reward for his service. If he serves that funeral till the burial and the closing of the grave in a dream, it means that he will receive double that reward, the value of which reward is known only to Allah Almighty. Pigeon Hunting pigeons in a dream means adultery. Seeing a pigeon standing over one's head, or tied to his neck or shoulders in a dream connotes one's relationship with his Lord. If in that sense the pigeon is an ugly one, it means that one's actions are of the same nature. Otherwise, it means the opposite. Plucking some feathers from a pigeon in a dream means money. Gathering Seeing a group of people gathering in a dream may represent business losses or a trial that will end in mercy and success. If one sees a group of people surrounding the corps of a dead, or visiting a sick person, or standing around his bed in a dream, it means relief and success. Pregnancy Pregnancy in a dream also means being madly in love, or having passionate attachment to someone, or planting seeds in the wrong place, or being bisexual or a deviate, or suffering from dropsy, or perhaps it could mean that a thief will enter his house to steal something, or to hide a stolen object, or that one may steal something and hide it from its true owner, or that he may get sick from eating spoiled food, or it could mean that he may bury a dear person, or that he is affected and a liar, or he may hide his real beliefs and show a better standing in public, or it may represent an accident or a fire. Funeral If one sees himself lifted and placed in a coffin in a dream, it means that people will appoint him to a leadership position. If one sees a group of people performing a funeral prayers and crying over the loss of the deceased in a dream, it means that the conclusion of his life will be commendable. Otherwise, if they express no sorrow for his loss or cry over him, but instead criticize him in the dream, it means that the conclusion of his life will be contemptible. If a merchant, a governor or a leader sees himself sitting over a coffin that is moving freely by itself in the dream, it means taking a trip by sea. If one sees the coffin flying in a dream, it means that a great man of knowledge will die in that town and people will not know of it, or that a known person will die in a foreign land or on the way to or back from a pilgrimage.
