Door If the door is well built in a dream, it means protection of one's private life. Otherwise, whatever maybe seen through such a door means exposing one's private life. If one sees a carpenter building him a new door, this means glad tidings of health and wealth. If one sees himself unable to properly secure the closing of his door in a dream, it means difficulties caused by his wife. If one sees himself changing his door in a dream, it means moving into another house. If one sees himself entering his house and locking his door in a dream, it means protection against evil. Funeral If one sees himself lifted and placed in a coffin in a dream, it means that people will appoint him to a leadership position. If one sees a group of people performing a funeral prayers and crying over the loss of the deceased in a dream, it means that the conclusion of his life will be commendable. Otherwise, if they express no sorrow for his loss or cry over him, but instead criticize him in the dream, it means that the conclusion of his life will be contemptible. If a merchant, a governor or a leader sees himself sitting over a coffin that is moving freely by itself in the dream, it means taking a trip by sea. If one sees the coffin flying in a dream, it means that a great man of knowledge will die in that town and people will not know of it, or that a known person will die in a foreign land or on the way to or back from a pilgrimage. Concealment (Hiding) If one sees himself entering a house to hide in a dream, it means that he will receive condolences, or that he will beget a daughter. Concealment in a dream also means dependence on what one stands behind. If one hides behind a mountain in a dream, it means placing his trust in a revered or a religious person. Burial The same interpretation is given if one sees a prophet or a holy man walking out of his grave alive. To be buried after death, after sunrise, at noon or at the sunset hour in a dream means that one is being warned about doing what is good and abstaining from what is evil. To be buried alive in a dream is wrong and means betrayal. It could also mean marriage, prosperity or peace and tranquillity after suffering and hardships. If one sees a deceased person burying him alive in a dream, it means that one's due debts are not paid, or that one will be imprisoned to satisfy his debts, or that his collateral was not accepted. To bury a dead person twice means that one is covering his faults. If one sees a deceased person burying another deceased person in a dream, it means unity, clearing of the hearts, love and friendship between relatives, or perhaps it could mean imprisonment, marriage, a sickness, a trust, or guaranteeing a loan. Seeing oneself being buried after death in a dream means that one needs to repent before death. Should he still walk alive from his burial in the dream, it means that he may repent again. Wolf (Thief; Trifler; Womanizer; Year) In a dream, a wolf represents a fierce enemy, an unrelenting thief, or a liar. If one sees a wolf entering his house in a dream, it means that a thief will burglarize his house and that he will chase and capture him. If one sees himself raising a wolfs cub in a dream, it means that he will raise an abandoned child of a thief who upon growing up will bring that family much pain, suffering, divisiveness and loss of property. Seeing a wolf in a dream also could represent false allegations one may fabricate to assault an innocent person. If one sees a wolf turning into a steer in the dream, it means that a boy who is used to stealing will repent for his sin, turn to honesty, trustworthiness and grow to become a good and a generous person. Cistern In a dream, a water cistern represents a pouch, a safe, a box, a coffer, a partner, one's wife, a son, or knowing people's personal secrets. If the oil cistern is filled with water in the dream, it means stagnation of any of the above. If one sees a water cistern filled with oil in a dream, then it means prosperity. The cistern of a fellowship house, a khanakah or a mosque in a dream represents its Imam or its supervising spiritual teacher or the caretaker and guard of the property. If one sees the water cistern of the house sitting in an unsuitable place in that house in a dream, it represents the spirit of a jinni who pursues such a person or who may haunt his house. Mars The planet Mars symbolizes the war minister, the home minister, the policeman, evil, harm, bloodshed, and suffering, fear and sorrow. Mouse The mouse symbolizes the dreamer’s household: those who dwell in his house—his wife and children, et cetera—a debauched woman, or, some say, a devilish Jewish woman or a Jew, as related by Al-Nabulsi. It could also refer to a thief. Many mice means profit and welfare. Mice of the same color allude to women. The rat is a digging thief.
• Dreaming of a mouse playing in one’s house: Prosperity will increase because, according to the ancient Arabs, mice invade only those places that are prosperous. And only people who are not hungry can afford to play.
• Seeing mice in one’s house: Dangerous women will enter that house.
• A mouse leaving one’s house: Livelihood and blessings will decrease.
• Owning a mouse: Will have a servant because, like servants, mice share the food of the master.

Church • Seeing a church being destroyed, burning, or undergoing some other calamity: Stronger religious faith (for the Muslims) and defeat for the polytheists and the hypocrites.
• A church turning into a synagogue or vice versa: Some accident will befall the aliens (non-Muslims) living in an Islamic country.
• Seeing one’s house as a church: (1) Will talk the language of the Christians and turn one’s home into a meeting place for the whimsical, the heretics, and those who commit all sorts of sins. (2) The dreamer’s chief will be angry with him.

Beating Beating someone with a leather belt or with a cane in a dream means bad consequences in wakefulness. Hitting the floor in a dream means taking a trip. If one receives one hundred lashes on his back in a dream, it means that he has committed adultery, or it could mean that he has the intention to do so. If one receives forty lashes in a dream, it means that he indulges in drinking alcohol or uses intoxicants. If he is lashed eighty times in a dream, it means that he slanders married women. If he is whipped by a deceased person in the dream, it means that he is pursuing wrong ideas and should reverse his course, for a deceased person dwells in the kingdom of truth and follows only what pleased Allah Almighty. Embrace (Accolade; Hug) Embracing someone in a dream means longevity. Embracing a deceased person also means longevity. If a deceased person embraces the person seeing the dream and does not let go of him in a dream, it means his death. Embracing a known person in a dream means associating with him. Ascending the Sky or Heavens If a person sees himself as ascending and entering the Sky, he will attain martyrdom, become eminent in the sight of Allah, cross the siraat swiftly on the Day of Judgment, attain respectability in this world and be remembered in favorable terms by the people. Lamenting If one sees himself mourning a deceased person in a dream, it means that harm will come to him from the descendents or family of the departed person. Lamenting with great pain and sorrow and mourning over a deceased person in a dream also means waking up to a great joy and happiness. Lamenting in a dream also means adversities which are driven by the person who is lamenting. It also means going astray, or it could denote a flute, as the flute denotes lamenting in a dream. Garden If one enters a garden at the season of plucking its fruits in a dream, it means glad tidings, money and increase in one's good deeds, marriage or children. On the other hand, if he enters a garden in the fall in a dream, it means defamation, indebtedness, divorce, or it could mean loss of a child. Seeing a deceased person in a garden means that he is in paradise. A garden in a dream also represents a source of nourishment. Slaughterhouse If one sees hogs or pigs being slaughtered therein, his dream means that he will witness the end of innovators, the contemptible, the evil ones, and the abominable people. Meanwhile, if people are afraid of someone, the dream then signals the end of such a person. A slaughterhouse in a dream also represents a dungeon, a torture room, or a primitive prison. Entering a slaughterhouse in a dream may also mean that the police is investigating allegations related to such a person. A slaughterhouse in a dream also represents a procuress or a white slaver. Cow • A bachelor acquiring a cow: Will marry a blessed woman.
• Riding on a cow: (1) Will get married. (2) Wife will die and will inherit from her.
• Riding on an identified cow: Richness and escape from trouble and all sorts of worry.
• Entering one’s own house on a cow’s back and tying her there: Will obtain a fortune, coupled with plenty of joy and the end of worries, especially if her color was black. Conversely, if she hit the dreamer with her horns, the dreamer would lose and never be safe from his family and relatives.

Paradise • Seeing Paradise with one’s eyes: Worries will disappear and the dreamer will obtain whatever he desires.
• Seeing Paradise but refusing to enter it: The dreamer is a benefactor and a hard worker. Such a dream can be had only by the fair, never by the unjust.
• Seeing Paradise but being barred from entering it: The dreamer will not be able to perform hajj (pilgrimage), engage in Jihad (holy war) or expiate for some sin, despite his desire to do so.
• Seeing one of the gates of Paradise being closed or slammed in one’s face: One of the dreamer’s parents will die. If two gates are closed, both parents will pass away. In case all gates are closed, this means that the dreamer’s parents are displeased with him. Conversely, if he enters it from any gate, the dreamer is blessed by his parents.
• Entering Paradise: (1) The dreamer will be happy and secure on earth and in the Hereafter. (2) Desires will be fulfilled after hardships, because the way to Paradise, it is believed, is fraught with dangers and evil things. Atheism • Seeing many atheists: Will have many children.
• An atheist slave girl: Indecent joy and pleasure.
• Atheists entering the dreamer’s house to fight him: Enemies are after his blood and will succeed inasmuch as they penetrated his home.
• Falling captive in atheist hands: Enormous worries.
• Being held hostage or mortgaging oneself to atheists: Your sins are like a sword hanging over your neck.
