Learning Learning the Quran, the prophetic traditions, or a craft in a dream means richness after poverty, guidance after heedlessness, or marriage after celibacy. It also means begetting a son, or walking in the company of a spiritual guide. Young man (Teenage boy) An unknown young man in a dream represents an enemy. If the young man is known in the dream, then whatever strength, harshness, weaknesses, deceit, perfidy, or character he displays, they denote the same character in wakefulness. Dream interpreter In a dream, a dream interpreter represents happiness for a sad person and sorrow for a happy person. If one who desires to maintain secrecy around his life and goals sees a dream interpreter in his dream, it means that he will find an intimate friend or a confidant to complete his intention. If one is expecting news from an associate or if someone in a different land sees a dream interpreter in his dream, it means that he will receive the desired news. Hell • Dreaming of being grilled on embers: The dreamer is deliberately walking tall while people are prostrating themselves in the sanctuaries.
• Entering Hell with a smile: The dreamer is a debauchee who enjoys worldly delights.
• Dreaming of having drawn one’s sword and entered Hell: The dreamer is advocating vice and all that is religiously prohibited.

Archangel Gabriel (Upon him be peace.) Seeing him in a dream and feeling happy for his meeting brings glad tidings. If the archangel Gabriel in one's dream speaks to him, advises him, or admonishes him in the dream, it means receiving a great honor, strength, victory in one's life and glad tidings. If the person is oppressed, it means that he will triumph at the end. If he is sick, it means that he will recover from his illness. If he is in a state of depression or fear, it means that he will overcome it and he shall sail into success. If he had not yet performed his pilgrimage to Mecca, it means that he will fulfill it. Seth (The prophet Seth, Alayhi-Salam.) Seeing Allah's prophet Seth, Alayhi-Salam, in a dream means prosperity, contentment, blessings, joy, children, honor and a happy life by Allah's leave. Meadow The same interpretation is given if one sees himself walking between two different markets. If one sees a deceased person sitting in the meadows in a dream, it means that he is in paradise. Meadows in a dream also represent the world and its pleasures, or they could represent a rich wife. Seeing an unusual meadow which is admired only when beheld, and enjoyed especially when visited in a dream represents a revered place, a house of Allah, a mosque, the grave of a prophet, or the graves of the righteous ones. Snake charmer (Diphtheria; Quinsy; Tracer; Tracker) A snake charmer in a dream represents mixing with evil people, participating in a competition, or racing against one's enemy. If a sick person sees himself sitting with his snakes in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness and live a long and a happy life. If the basket carries silkworms instead of a snake in his dream, it means repentance of a sinner, or prosperity of a poor person, or it could mean changing a bad profession for a good one. Mouth (Cellar) In a dream, one's mouth represents his life from inception to completion. One's mouth in a dream also represents the course of one's livelihood and the source of his strength. Putting medicine in one's mouth in a dream means correcting one's life for the better. If one puts food in his mouth in a dream, it means worldly gains and profits, unless one puts something that tastes bad, or which is spoiled, then it means losses, distress and depression. Putting good and tasty food or sweets in one's mouth in a dream means living a happy and a rich life. Dawn The first appearance of daylight in a dream represents the birth of girls or their marriage. Seeing the dawn in a dream also may signify remembrance of Allah Almighty and reading of the Quran. Seeing the dawn in a dream also means walking into the light of guidance. It also means happiness and continuous joy. If one loses something in the night then finds it at dawn in a dream, it means that his opponent denies something he unjustly took from him, then a witness arrives to testify for one's benefit and to help him recuperate his property. Hair If an unhappy person sees himself hairy in a dream, it means aggravation of his depression and unhappiness, while if a happy person sees himself hairy in a dream, it means increase of his happiness. The black hair of a woman in a dream represents her husband's love for her. If a woman sees herself wearing a veil, or putting on a head piece in a dream, it means a journey that will take her husband away from her from sometime, or a journey from which he may never return. If she sees people looking at her hair in a dream, it means that she will suffer slander and defamation. Satan If Satan frightens him in a dream, it means that the latter is a sincere deputy and a protege of Allah Almighty, and that Allah will safeguard him from any fear of the accursed Satan or his army. If one sees a meteor or a flame shooting at Satan in the skies in a dream, it means that there is an enemy of Allah Almighty in that locality. If that person is a ruler, then his secrets will be exposed, and if he is a judge, it means that a just punishment will befall him for his injustice. If one sees Satan happy in a dream, it means that he engages in sensuality, passion and loathsome actions. Wandering (Astray; Error; Lost) Walking on a straight highway and still losing one's way in a dream means deviating from the path of truth. If the road in the dream is twisted or curved, then it means allurement, trespassing, misguidance, or erring from Allah's path, or it could mean seeking a way out of error. Barley (3) Reaping barley during the right season: Will obtain money and must spend part thereof in the way of Allah, in view of the Quranic verse: “… Eat ye of the fruit thereof when it fruiteth, and pay the due thereof upon the harvest day, and be not prodigal. Lo! Allah loveth not the prodigals …” (“Al-Anam” [Cattle], verse 141.) (4) Planting barley: Will do something that will please God. (5) Seeing wet or mature barley: Fertility. (6) Buying barley: Great welfare.

Medina Visiting the Holy city of Medina, the city of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, in a dream means profits and blessings in this world. Standing at the door of the Sacred Mosque in Medina, or in front of the Blessed Chamber of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, in a dream means repenting from a sin and acceptance of one's repentance. Seeing the Holy city of Medina in a dream can be interpreted in six ways to reflect peace, mercy, forgiveness, salvation, relief from distress and enjoying a happy life. Sky • Being in the first of seven heavens: (1) The dreamer will become a minister, if eligible, because, says Ibn Siren, this heaven is the orbit of the moon, the sky’s prime minister. (2) Death is near.
• Being in the second heaven (the orbit of Mercury): The dreamer will acquire knowledge and wisdom and enjoy self-sufficiency or contentment or will become a leader.
• Being in the third heaven (the orbit of Venus): The dreamer will be dignified and welcome everywhere and have plenty of girls and goods of all kinds, procuring the utmost joy.
• Being in the fourth heaven (the orbit of the sun): The dreamer will be close to the ruler.
• Being in the fifth heaven (the orbit of Mars): Terror, or the dreamer will become a police chief or a warrior, go to war, et cetera.
• Being in the sixth heaven (the orbit of Jupiter): The dreamer will be happy and prestigious and conclude fruitful business transactions.

Arafat (Mecca; Mount Arafa; Mount of mercy; Plain of Arafat; Reunion of beloveds) If one sees himself standing in prayers in the Plain of Arafat during the pilgrimage season on the 9th day of the Arabic month of Zul-Hijjah, it means the return of a long awaited traveller to his home, a happy reunion, a family reunion, reconciliation between friends or peace between two individuals. Seeing Mount Arafa or the Plain of Arafat in a dream also could represent the pilgrimage season, or performing a pilgrimage, visiting Mecca on Umrah (See Umrah), or it could mean the Friday congregational prayers, the sixth day of the week, a marketplace, or engaging in a profitable business. Old woman An emaciated old woman in a dream represents a year of drought. If she gains weight and turns beautiful in the dream, she represents changes in the weather conditions, bringing a prosperous and a happy end for the farmers in that year. An ostentatious old woman in a dream represents a prosperous life, or good news that will arrive shortly. If she looks frowning or unhappy in the dream, then she represents distress and loss of prestige. If she looks ugly in the dream, she represents facing adverse conditions. If she is naked in the dream, she represents a scandal. If an old woman enters a house in a dream, it means prosperity and business success and if she leaves a house in the dream, it means the opposite.
