Cistern In a dream, a water cistern represents a pouch, a safe, a box, a coffer, a partner, one's wife, a son, or knowing people's personal secrets. If the oil cistern is filled with water in the dream, it means stagnation of any of the above. If one sees a water cistern filled with oil in a dream, then it means prosperity. The cistern of a fellowship house, a khanakah or a mosque in a dream represents its Imam or its supervising spiritual teacher or the caretaker and guard of the property. Door A door in a dream represents the guardian of the house. An open doors in a dream represents a source of income. The door of a house also represents the wife. If the appearance of one's door looks different from reality in a dream, it means changes in one's life. If it is broken or burned in the dream, it means difficulties for the resident guardian of that house. If one sees a small door within the main entrance door in the dream, it means that he will infringe on the privacy of others bedroom. It also means that one's wife may have a secret affair, or that a betrayal may be uncovered in one's house. If one sees lions jumping at his door in a dream, it means that insolent people will pursue his wife. If one sees himself seeking a door which he couldn't find in a dream, it means indecision. Mars The planet Mars symbolizes the war minister, the home minister, the policeman, evil, harm, bloodshed, and suffering, fear and sorrow. Glass In a dream, any glass by-products represent people of knowledge, scholars, Gnostics, sages or people of wisdom. Buying a glittering glass ornament, or a house made of mother of pearl in a dream means choosing the pleasures of this world over the everlasting joy of the hereafter, or it could mean disdaining to obey Allah's commands, or it could mean becoming an apostate. A drinking glass cup in a dream represents a woman. Receiving a glass of water in a dream means that one's wife is pregnant. An unknown kind of glass cup or a roughly cut drinking glass of water in a dream means that there is a fetus in the mother's womb. If the glass of water breaks and the water remains in the dream, it means that the mother may die after giving birth and the infant will survive. If the water spills and the glass remains intact in the dream, it means that the fetus may die and the mother will survive. The breaking of a glass in a dream also denotes the death of the one who is serving it. If a sick person is given a glass of wine, or water, or a bitter apple drink, or a laxative in a dream such a drink represents his last cup. Mouse The mouse symbolizes the dreamer’s household: those who dwell in his house—his wife and children, et cetera—a debauched woman, or, some say, a devilish Jewish woman or a Jew, as related by Al-Nabulsi. It could also refer to a thief. Many mice means profit and welfare. Mice of the same color allude to women. The rat is a digging thief.
• Dreaming of a mouse playing in one’s house: Prosperity will increase because, according to the ancient Arabs, mice invade only those places that are prosperous. And only people who are not hungry can afford to play.
• Seeing mice in one’s house: Dangerous women will enter that house.
• A mouse leaving one’s house: Livelihood and blessings will decrease.
• Owning a mouse: Will have a servant because, like servants, mice share the food of the master.

Travels Moving out of an unknown house in a dream means travelling. If a sick person sees himself travelling from one land into another that he could not recognize in his dream, it means his death. If a traveller sees himself carrying a food basket in a dream, it means that he will take a positive look at things, or that he will make a practical move that will benefit him and his family. Young man (Teenage boy) An unknown young man in a dream represents an enemy. If the young man is known in the dream, then whatever strength, harshness, weaknesses, deceit, perfidy, or character he displays, they denote the same character in wakefulness. Angel • Wrestling with an angel: Worries and humiliation after prosperity.
• A patient seeing an angel engaging another angel in a fight: Death is near.
• Angels descending from the sky: (1) The holy struggle will be successful; the righteous will triumph and the wrongdoers will be subdued. (2) The ruler will send his soldiers to that spot. Flying • Flying from one’s home to an unknown house: (1) Will move to the grave. (2) Death is near and it is high time to repent.
• Flying while on horseback: (1) The end of prosperity. (2) Will be forced to relinquish an important post.
• The rider and the ridden returning to earth: Prosperity and, perhaps a high post.
• Trying to fly but being unable to or finding oneself upside down: Plenty of evil to come.

Glass bottle The broken chips of a glass bottle in a dream represent money. A urine testing tube in a dream represents a prostitute. Thus, if one sees himself urinating inside such a tube in his dream, he should beware not to commit adultery. A bottle of wine in a dream represents a housekeeper who is hesitant about carrying money on her. A bottle of wine in a dream represents a pregnant woman who could suffer from hemorrhaging though she will deliver her child safely. Glass bottles of different colors and sizes in a dream represent people of different nationalities. A glass bottle in a dream also could mean exposing people's secret life or slandering disloyal people. If a glass bottle falls and breaks inside one's house in a dream, it means avoiding corruption or escaping from temptation that could take place inside such a house. Robbery If a known thief robs someone of his money in a dream, it means that he slanders him. If it is an unknown old man in the dream, it means that a close friend will backbite him. Whatever may happen to him in that dream could take place in conjunction to any of the above elements and in relationship to his condition. Staying overnight in an unknown hotel in a dream means travel, or it may indicate the abode of this world from which one travels to reach the abode of the hereafter. Death • Death of a relative: Will become less able.
• Death of a pregnant woman: Will give birth to a male child who will prove to be very beneficial and bring about a lot of joy.
• Death of an unknown woman: (1) Worldly matters will run into a snag. (2) Drought. Death of a friend: (1) The dreamer will die. (2) The dreamer will lose that friend.

Slaughter • Slaughtering a woman: The dreamer will have sex with her.
• Slaughtering a female animal: The dreamer will make love to a woman and deflower a virgin.
• Slaughtering a male animal by attacking it from behind: The dreamer will sodomize such an animal.
• Slaughtering a young boy and grilling him: The dreamer will be unfair to that boy and slander him, provided the boy is old enough to be the one meant in the dream; otherwise the dream applies to his parents. Beard • The part between the lower lip and the chin represents the man’s asset (s), which he prides himself on.
• Seeing one’s beard half-shaven: Will become poor and unimportant.
• The beard being shaved by an unknown young man: The dreamer’s prestige will be shaken or completely destroyed by an enemy whom he knows, his homonym, or his counterpart.
• The beard being shaved by an old man: Prestige will disappear to a certain extent.

Planet • Riding on a planet: Benefits, welfare, power, influence, and leadership.
• Planets under the ceiling: (1) Home will be destroyed (as, the home having no roof anymore, the planets could be seen from within the house). (2) The owner of the house will die.

Masjid (arb. Allah's House; Mosque; Place of worship) In Arabic, the word Masjid means a place of prostration, while the word Jami means a place of gathering. A Masjid or a mosque in a dream represents a scholar and its gates represent men of knowledge and the guardians, or the attendants of Allah's House. Building a Masjid in a dream means emulating the traditions of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, fostering the unity of one's family, or becoming a judge, should one qualify for such an office. A Masjid filled with people in a dream represents a gnostic, a man of knowledge and wisdom, or a preacher who invites people to his house, advises them, brings their hearts together, teaches them the precepts of their religion and explains the wisdom behind the divine revelations. Seeing a Masjid being demolished in a dream means that such a gnostic, or religious scholar and devout believer will die in that locality. City Seeing oneself in a large and populated city in a dream means prosperity and wealth. Entering a city in a dream also means making peace between people. Driving through an unknown section of a city in a dream means losses. Entering an old city that is rebuilt and restored in a dream means that a great and a pious person will be born in that city and he will grow to guide its people on the path of righteousness. A city in a dream also signifies an oath, meeting with one's beloveds, peace, tranquillity and safety. Meeting with Allah-fearing people in a dream means attaining one's goals and receiving glad tidings. Dog • Seeing hunting dogs entering a city: Unemployment.
• Seeing hunting dogs returning from an expedition: (1) Unemployment. (2) The end of fear.
• A sheepdog: (1) The dreamer will obtain certain benefits from the king or chief. (2) A good neighbour who is keen on preserving your interests as much as he does his own.
