Fig A fig means plenty of money or money from Iraq. A fig tree refers to a man full of money and a philanthropist but to whom the enemies of Islam turn, because such a tree usually shelters snakes. Most interpreters like those dreams involving figs, because Allah swore by it in the Holy Quran when He said, “By the fig and the olive, by Mount Sinai, and by this land made safe; surely We created man of the best stature” (“Al-Tin” [The Fig], verses 1–4.) Mold (Cast; Form) In a dream, a mold represents what it is made for. A silver casting mold in a dream means profits. Pastry molds in a dream also denote profits. A shoe mold in a dream represents the property one walks on, and a mold for a hat represents the leading person, or the head of a business, or the head of a household. Dream Of Musailima al-Kadhdhab (the greater liar) Ibn Abbas reported that Musailima al-Kadhdhab (the greater liar) (who claimed prophethood after the death of the Prophet Muhammad) came during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) to Medina and said: If Muhammad assigns his caliphate to me after him I would follow, and there came along with him a large body of persons of his tribe and there came to him Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) along with Thabit b. Qais b. Shammas and the Prophet of Allah (?) had a piece of wood in his hand until he came in front of Musailima in the company of his companions and said: If you were to ask even this (wood), I would never give it to you. I am not going to do anything against the will of God in your case, and if you turn away (from what I say) Allah will destroy you. And I find you in the same state which I was shown (in the dream) and here is Thabit and he would answer you on my behalf. He (the Holy Prophet) then went back. Ibn 'Abbas said: I asked the (meanings of the) words of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam):" You are the same what I was made to see about you in my dream." and Abu Huraira reported that Prophet Muhammad. (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said: While I was sleeping I saw in my hands two gold bangles. This had a disturbing effect upon me and I was given a suggestion in the sleep that I should blow over them, so I blew over them and they were no more. And I interpreted these (two bangles) as the two great liars who would appear after me and the one amongst them was 'Anasi the inhabitant of San'a' and the other one Musailima the inhabitant of Yamama. Hair If one sees the hair in the back of his head dishevelled or rumpled in a dream, it means that he will suffer humiliation. If he sees his hair on the right side of his head tousled in a dream, it means that he will molest male children from among his relatives. If he sees his hair on the left side of his head tousled, or dishevelled in a dream, it means that he will molest female children from among his relatives. If one does not have relatives, it means that he will suffer harm from his evil actions. If one sees long hair under his armpit in a dream, it means he will attain his goal, or it could denote his generous character. If he sees it thick in a dream, it denotes his thirst for knowledge, search for a business, or profiting through patience and endurance. Polishing (Burnishing; Shining) A wood finisher polishing a piece of furniture in a dream represents a minister, an administrator, or a statesman who deals with the high and the low. Seeing a polisher in a dream also means befriending a righteous man who points out one's pitfalls and helps him to remove his ills and to correct himself. Mountain • Falling from a mountain, a roof, a tree, and the like: Separation from whomever such a high place symbolizes according to the code of dreams. The subject himself should be consulted by the interpreter to know what, in his view, the mountain or tree, et cetera, could refer to and what his aspirations are. It could also mean that the dreamer will fall down by committing sins or to where intriguers are lying in wait for him, especially if he had fallen on ferocious beasts, crows, snakes, rodents, or garbage. Sheep Shearing off the wool of a sheep in a dream is a warning that one should remain aloof for three days. Both the white sheep and the black sheep in a dream mean profit, though the benefits one draws from a white sheep are greater. Seeing a herd of sheep in a dream means continuous happiness. Walking by a slaughter house or a tripe shop and witnessing the heads and trotters of sheep in a dream mean longevity. Bird • An unknown bird standing on one’s head, shoulder, or neck or knees: A reference to the action or deeds of the dreamer. If the bird was white, such action is candid. The reverse is also true.
• An unknown bird standing on a pregnant woman’s head, shoulders, or knees: She will give birth to a child of the same gender as the bird. If the latter had stayed, the child would live and remain close to her. If it had flown away, it would mean the contrary.
• Owning or catching a flock of birds: Money and power, especially if the dreamer was looking after them, feeding them, and talking to them.
• Birds hovering over the dreamer’s head: Will become a leader.
• Birds flying in one’s house: Angels will visit the house. Hair • Dreaming that the head was shaved without remembering having shaved it: Will triumph over enemies and become strong.
• A woman dreaming that her hair was shaved: Will be abandoned by her husband or die.
• A woman dreaming that her husband has shaved her head or shortened her hair at the Kabah (the Muslims holiest shrine, in Mecca (Makkah)): She will settle her debts, and her wishes will be fulfilled. If her husband had done so elsewhere than in Mecca (Makkah), he will hold her captive in her house, as if he had cut the wings of a bird. It could also mean that he would slander her. Mountain • A mountain taking off and hovering over people’s heads: The king will terrorize his subjects as, says Ibn Siren, this is what happened to the children of Israel when God lifted the mountain and let it glide over them to terrorize them or deter them from disobedience.
• Mountains exploding or being shattered: A harbinger of war and schisms in which flocks of people will perish, as this is one of the signs of the end of the world.
• Climbing on a mountain and drinking water from its springs: Will be given a province or a high post, if eligible, or achieve gains, if in business.

Grease Lubricating someone else's head in a dream means evil and the subject should take precautions toward the one greasing his head. Having ajar of grease or cream to rub one's body with it or to apply it to others in a dream means fawning, adulation, flattery, hypocrisy, falsehood or backbiting, etcetera. If one sees his own face rubbed with grease in a dream, it means a lifetime of abstinence and religious fasting. Rubbing oneself with a cream as a treatment or as a medicine to lessen one's pain in a dream means that one will correct himself, or save money as a bridal dower or as a down payment toward a purchase. Pine The pine tree is a loud and stingy man with bad character. He gives shelter to the thieves and the unjust, the same as the kites, owls, and crows seek asylum in the pine trees. Hidden treasure (Boy; Enemy; Power; Snake; Troves; Unjust ruler; Woman) If the treasure one discovers in his dream is hidden by a previous generation, it means receiving an inheritance, lawful earnings, a booty, a son from adultery, or it could represent an orphan because it comes from someone else's earnings. The Stars and Planets As a rule, stars and planets symbolize the nobility or dignitaries of country. Any goodness in them denote similar goodness in them. Note the interpretations of the following planets. Mars : It represents the police force, security force and the military force of the king or state. Saturn : It presents the torturers and interrogators of the king or state. Jupiter : it either represents the state treasurer or the administrative representative of the state. Sometimes it also represents a man of high learning. Venus : It represents the queen or wife of the head of state. Dye To dye one's gray hair in a dream means strength, dignity and valor. Applying henna dye to one's head and not to one's beard in a dream means emulating the traditions of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. To dye both the head and the beard in a dream means concealing one's poverty, though one will keep asking people to pay him respect or to recognize him in their circles. If one's hair accepts the dye in the dream, it means regaining one's status, though with less emphasis on his pride, or it could mean that he will make contentment his new ornament or trim. If one uses a dye other than what is commonly used, and if it works in the dream, it means that he will be saved from an adverse condition through miraculous events. Star Holding little stars in one's hand in a dream means acquiring fame and presiding over people. Seeing a star over one's head in a dream means becoming renowned and surpassing one's associates, or it could mean serving in a high ranking position. If one sees brilliant stars gathering in one place in his dream, it means that he will reap benefits from a business trip, or safely return home from such a successful business trip. Riding a star in a dream means leadership, strength and wealth. Satan • Trying to hit Satan with a sword and getting away with it or escaping: Justice and equity will prevail.
• Satan torturing the dreamer in one way or another: Relief from hardships and worries in view of verse 41 in the Quranic chapter titled “Sad,” mentioned above.
