Lion The lion is a ruler, a tyrant, or a powerful and very dangerous person, in view of the ferocity and devastating anger of that animal. It also symbolizes the warrior, the swindler, the thief, the treacherous worker, the policeman, the insatiable enemy, and perhaps hardships and death, because he who stares at it turns pale, loses his self-control, and is as good as dead, says Ibn Siren. Furthermore, it represents the ruler who embezzles public funds and commits injustice and the lurking enemy. The lioness symbolizes the daughter of a king. The baby lion (lion’s whelp or cub) is a boy. A man told Ibn Siren, “I dreamed that I was embracing and nursing a baby lion.” When the great seer looked at him, saw his humble appearance and miserable garments, and understood that he could not be eligible for any honour, he said, “What could you possibly have to do with the children of princes?!” and he added, “Is your wife, by chance, breast-feeding the son of a prince?” “Yes,” was the reply. Cow The cow symbolizes the year in view of the story of Yusuf (Joseph) in the Holy Quran. A fat cow is a fertile year and a thin one an austere year. It also represents wealth and prestige and a woman, par excellence, commensurate with her shape. A milk cow is a useful woman. A cow with horns is a woman of marginal value. The cow’s belly symbolizes assets without value, her navel string the wife’s umbilical cord or an allusion to the wife’s pregnancy. A lost cow is a wife lost to her husband.
• Trying to milk a cow that prevents the dreamer from doing so by using her horns: The dreamer’s wife will hate him and rebel against him. If the cow accepts, in the dream, being milked by another man, that man is betraying the dreamer with his wife.
• A cow with a blaze (white color) on her face: Hardships at the beginning of the year, as the word forefront—in Arabic ghorra—is the homonym for beginning.

Garden • Seeing a barren park: The dreamer avoids having sex with his wife.
• Pissing blood in an unknown garden or irrigating it with water not from the sea: Will make love to a lady. In case the act took place in the dreamer’s own garden, he will break an oath by having sex with his wife, sodomizing her or sleeping with her during her menses.

Closet (Safe) In a dream, a closet represents one's wife, a hide-out, protection or a veil. If one sees his closet destroyed in a dream, it may mean the death of his wife. A closet in a dream also represents a made, keeping secrets, confidentiality or intimacy between husband and wife, protecting the reputation of chaste women, beautiful garments or it could represent the day and the night. Rocks A rock in a dream also means longevity, construction, forgetfulness, cattle, impudence, shamelessness, fornication, a dissolute life, immorality, or heartlessness. Seeing a town scattered with rocks in a dream also could mean lower prices. If a rock is interpreted as a rank, then it means a lasting one. If it denotes one's wife, then it means that she is patient and content. A rock in a dream also represents a threshold, a house, or a statue. Seeing a mountain of rocks in a dream represents heartless, brutal and cruel men, or it could denote their dwellings. If one sees himself drilling a hole into a rock in a dream, it means that he is searching for something hard to get, though he will be able to reach as far as he reaches through drilling in his dream. Ear The ear symbolizes the man’s wife or daughter. It also represents religion.
• Having three ears: The dreamer has a wife and two daughters.
• Having four ears: (1) The dreamer has four women. (2) He has four girls without a mother.
• Having one ear: No relative will stay alive.
• Having half an ear: Wife will die and the dreamer will remarry.
• One ear having fallen: (1) Will divorce. (2) A daughter will die.
• Wearing an earring: Will marry one’s daughter to someone, and she will give birth to a male child.

Smell Smelling a sweet fragrance in a dream means uneasiness or a light illness. Smelling a bad odor in a dream means hearing or speaking bad words, or it could mean distress or depression. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Seeing a Deceased Person as Happy Seeing a deceased person in a good condition such as donning white or green clothes while he is laughing or giving glad tidings means that he, the dead man is in peaceful and happy conditions. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Guidance (Wall) Guidance in a dream means oppression. To receive guidance in one's dream through seeing a light, or hearing the admonition of the holy Quran means walking one the straight path and abstaining from falsehood, or it could mean mixing with its people. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Incident - a Bowl full of Ants A person said to the learned Imaam that has a glass bowl in which he eats his food. He saw in his dream that it is filled with ants. The Imaam asked him whether he has a wife. He said: “Yes”. Then he asked him whether he has a slave as well. He said: “Yes”. He said: “Drive him out of your home. There is no goodness in keeping such a slave”. The man returned home depressed and worried. When the wife saw him in a depresessed and worried. Polygamy (Multiple spouses; Plural marriage; Second wife) Having a second wife along with the first in one household in a dream means sickness, losses, harm, blindness, bad deeds, exposing one's private life, divulging one's secrets, distress, dismay and sorrow. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Fountain In a dream, a fountain placed in a suitable place or as a decorative item in the middle of a yard or a park represents honor, dignity, dispelling worries or adversities, hearing good news or listening to good music, squandering money, dispersal of one's interests, breaking a gathering, or adding and subtracting if seen near an accountant. Eating the Shell or White of the Egg Eating the shell or white of the eggs but not the yolk means he will usurp wealth belonging to the deceased or a slain person. Disaster (Heavy loss; Serious damage; Sudden great misfortune; Upheaval) In a dream, a disaster means the death of a sick person, poverty, imprisonment or blindness. However, witnessing a disaster in a dream also could mean the opposite, such as hearing good news, or that one's reluctant enemy may secede. Seeing a Deceased person as Unhappy Seeing a dead person as disheveled with dust on his body or donning old, torn and tattered clothes or as angry means that he is not in a peaceful condition in the hereafter. To see him as ill means he is burdened with sins. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Steelyard (Scale beam) A steel yard in a dream represents a difficult son, or a husband with a temper that is difficult to balance. Seeing a steelyard in a dream also denotes knowledge, guidance, following the path of truth, or it could represent a judge, or a great king and his land, his subjects, secrets, hearing, sight, justice and responsibilities. Exhibition If one thinks that the officer is pleased with him in the dream, then it implies Allah's blessings. The high-ranking officer or the review officer in such a dream also represents a compassionate person who cares, and who frequently asks about his friends, helps them solve their problems, and assists them in every possible way. Disease • A man at war dreaming that he is ill: Will be injured.
• Dreaming that one is on his deathbed, then dies, and his wife gets married again: The subject will die as an atheist.

Divorce • Definitive divorce: Will lose one’s job irrevocably or perhaps will become self-sustaining for good.
• Divorcing one’s wife, then feeling jealous: Keenness to preserve her.
• A bachelor dreaming of divorce: Will change his line of conduct for the better or for the worse. But it could also mean that death is near.
• Divorcing an unloved partner: The dreamer will see some of his desires fulfilled.
• A man dreaming that he has divorced his wife but still has others or some free women or slaves around: Will lose only part of his fortune or authority.

Divorce If the divorce is irrevocable, then it could mean that he will permanently close his business. Divorcing one's wife in a dream also means disregarding a treasure, renouncing an inheritance, abdicating one's throne, or impeachment from one's office. Divorce in a dream also denotes poverty. Divorcing one's sick wife in a dream means that she may die of her illness. However, if one divorces his sick wife with the intention of returning to her again in the dream, in that case, it means that she will recover from her illness.
