The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Asking About Dreams Samurah bin Jundub narrated : "When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) had led us in Subh(Fajr prayer), he turned to face the people and said: 'Did any of you have a dream during the night?'" [He said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. This Hadith has been related from 'Awf and Jarir bin Hazim, from Abu Raja', from sumarah from the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) with the story in its entirety. Allah If one sees a picture of Allah in his dream, it means that he is a liar who ascribes images to Allah Almighty that do not befit His Majesty and Glory. If one hears Allah Almighty talking to him directly and if he can focus at Him in the dream, it means that he will be encompassed with Allah's mercy and blessings. If one sees Allah Almighty in a dream, it means that he will look at His Divine countenance in the hereafter. Cemetery • Seeing a polytheistic cemetery: (1) Worries, sorrow, fear, and unhappiness. (2) Shaky religious faith. (3) A reference to heretic places and solitary confinement.
• A sick person dreaming of entering a cemetery: Will die from his ailment and end up there, especially if he had built a house in it in the dream.
• Entering a cemetery with awe, crying and reading or reciting the Holy Book or praying in the direction of Mecca (Makkah): Will mix with benefactors, be well noted and versed in religion, and will benefit from all that he sees or hears.
• Entering a cemetery uncovered, laughing, urinating on the tombs, or walking with the dead: Will be involved with evil, debauched, and atheistic people and select one’s friends on this basis. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Arabic months If one sees his dream during the third lunar month, known in Arabic as Rabi-ul-Awwal, and if he is a merchant, it means that his business will grow, prosper and that his money will be blessed or perhaps he may conceive a child during that month. If he is under stress and worries, they will be dispelled. If he is persecuted or treated unjustly, he will end in a triumph, or it could mean that he will hear good news, or he may be appointed as governor, or he may admonish people to do good and discard evil, for it is the month in which Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, was born to this world. Kabah If one sees the holy Kabah burning in a dream, it means that one has neglected or abandoned his prescribed prayers. Any changes, decrease or increase in the shape of the holy Kabah, moving of it away from its place, or changing its look in a dream will reflect upon the Imam, or the guide of all Muslims. Circumambulating the holy Kabah or performing any of the prescribed rites in a dream means walking the path of righteousness, or correcting one's religious life as much as one does in his dream. Failure to perform some of the prescribed rites that are associated with being at the holy Kabah in a dream indicates one's deviation from Allah's path, and such innovation is equal to changing the direction (arb. Market • Missing a transaction or failing to achieve benefits in one: (1) If involved in Jihad, will turn back and miss the opportunity to die as a martyr in the holy war. (2) If planning to go on a pilgrimage, will miss that chance or something will spoil that religious duty after it has been performed. (3) If a student, something will hamper the dreamer’s efforts; he will miss a lecture, or he will learn something for evil purposes, turning away from God. Banjo (String instruments; Guitar; Lute; Mandolin) In a dream, a banjo represents people's common business, double-dealing, scrupulousness, adultery, playing chess, sorcery, a medium, evocation of spirits, calling on jinn spirits, being possessed by Jinn's or similar effects. String instruments If one sees himself playing a string instrument in front of the governor's house in a dream, it means that he will preside over people should he qualify. Otherwise, it could mean that he will piece together or fabricate a story. Seeing a lute or a guitar in a dream denotes no harm if one sees them or intends to hold them, except if one hears their music. Playing or hearing a string instrument in a dream represents lies. Playing them in one's house in a dream represent a calamity that will befall that family. Flute (Fold; Instrument) In a dream, a flute represents good news. To hear the sound of a flute in a dream means announcing someone's death. Playing the flute in a dream means developing a good understanding of things. Stream If the people are inflicted with adversities or a drought, then it means prosperity and rains, food, or money and their merchandise will not stagnate. If the water in the stream is murky, or salty, or running outside its canal, then it represents a coming calamity that will cause mass sufferings, or a sickness such as cold in the winter and fever in the summer, or it could mean that they will hear bad news about some travellers, or it could represent a richness which is acquired from an unlawful source, or it could mean that he will receive tainted money. Arafat (Mecca; Mount Arafa; Mount of mercy; Plain of Arafat; Reunion of beloveds) If one sees himself standing in prayers in the Plain of Arafat during the pilgrimage season on the 9th day of the Arabic month of Zul-Hijjah, it means the return of a long awaited traveller to his home, a happy reunion, a family reunion, reconciliation between friends or peace between two individuals. Seeing Mount Arafa or the Plain of Arafat in a dream also could represent the pilgrimage season, or performing a pilgrimage, visiting Mecca on Umrah (See Umrah), or it could mean the Friday congregational prayers, the sixth day of the week, a marketplace, or engaging in a profitable business. Cemetery If a sick person walks into a funeral procession in a dream, it means that his illness will culminate in his death. If he is not sick and then during that procession he weeps or prays for the deceased person in the dream, it means that he will repent of his sins, join spiritual study circles and serves the people of knowledge. Such a person also may attain a blessed spiritual station and benefit from what he hears and sees. If one sees himself walking in a funeral procession and neglecting respect and contemplation, and instead laughs and jokes, it means that he will befriend evildoers and accept their evil conduct as a standard norm of behavior. Ritual bath To take a ritual ablution in a dream before the Friday congregational prayers means purifying oneself, washing oneself from sin, repenting from sin, serving one's parents, or being true to one's friends. Taking a ritual ablution for any of the above reason during the wintertime and using cold water in the dream means distress, trouble or a sickness. If hot water is used, then it means profits, benefits and recovering from sickness. Taking a ritual ablution in a dream before attending a festival means getting married. Taking a ritual ablution after seeing either a solar or a lunar eclipses in a dream means an adversity, and the same applies if one takes a ritual ablution in a dream before the prayers of asking for rain. Gourd • Eating raw gourd: (1) Will have a quarrel and break with somebody. (2) Will be scared by a jinn.
• Sitting in the shadow of gourds: (1) Reunion with family or friends. (2) Reconciliation.
• Getting gourds from a watermelon farm: Will heal from a disease, thanks to a medicine or a prayer, in view of the story of the prophet Yunus (Jonas) as related in the Holy Quran: “Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; and We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him….” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verses 145–46.) Fox • A fox calling the dreamer: Will be terrified.
• Playing with a fox: Will be blessed with a woman who loves you as much as you love her.
• Catching a fox: (1) The dreamer will obtain the favours of a woman without there being any great love for her. (2) Will triumph over an adversary or a competitor.
• Eating fox meat: Will fall ill and recover very quickly.
• Drinking fox milk: (1) Will recover from a disease. (2) A worrisome matter will be over.
• Seeing herds of foxes: Magic and ruse will be widespread in the area.

Alms tax (Tithe) Paying the dues alms tax in a dream means increase in one's income or prosperity. If a rich man sees himself paying the due tithe on his liquid assets in a dream, it means increase in his wealth, a spiritual growth and receiving the blessing of performing one's obligatory prayers on time. Payment of one's due tithe also represents protection from one's enemies. Paying alms tax in a dream also means performing supererogatory prayers during the night, repayment of debts, absolution, or it could mean paying a fine. Alms tax in a dream also means the death of a dear person in the family, or it could mean losing a limb due to an illness or an accident, giving a charity for the benefit of a departed soul, or payment of one's debts. Dove • A person facing hardships or missing someone dreaming of a dove flying to him or landing on him: Good augury.
• A sick person dreaming of a pigeon landing on his head: An allusion to the Angel of Death, especially if it is a turtledove and if it wails.
• Having pigeons: The dreamer has women and slaves or servants on whom he does not spend much.
• Owning innumerable pigeons: Welfare and benefits.
