Gourd • Eating raw gourd: (1) Will have a quarrel and break with somebody. (2) Will be scared by a jinn.
• Sitting in the shadow of gourds: (1) Reunion with family or friends. (2) Reconciliation.
• Getting gourds from a watermelon farm: Will heal from a disease, thanks to a medicine or a prayer, in view of the story of the prophet Yunus (Jonas) as related in the Holy Quran: “Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; and We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him….” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verses 145–46.) Geese In a dream, geese represent beautiful women, handsome men or money. Honking gees in a dream represent death, drowning, crying or women in mourning. Herding geese in a dream means becoming a leader or presiding over people, earning their respect and becoming wealthy through them. A goose in a dream represents a man under stress. Geese in a dream also represents survivability and control of life in water and on land. Wild geese in a dream represents travels, business, property, moving into a new neighbourhood. Distraction Distraction in a dream and especially during prayers means envy and desire to rip others of their property and particularly close friends or relatives. If one is distracted during his prayers by a creeping snake or a lion in a dream, it means that he must be on his guard and cautious with his wife or child. Distraction during prayers represents one's passions, desires, or it could mean heedlessness, soliciting temporary gains and declining from the eternal benefits of the hereafter. Voice The braying of a donkey in a dream means cursing one's adversaries. The roaring of a lion in a dream means threats or boasts. The yowling of a tomcat in a dream means uproar, backbiting, defamation and insinuations. The squeak of a mouse in a dream means profits, reunion, love and peace, or it could mean harm one could suffer because of an interfering person or a robber. The crying of a female gazelle in a dream means longing for one's homeland. The yapping of foxes in a dream means a warning to escape, to move from one field into another, or it could mean suffering from jealousy, perfidy or lies. Crescent The birth of a new moon in a dream also denotes the truth of one's promise, or it could mean receiving money, for rent is usually due at the beginning of each month. The appearance of the new moon or crescent in the wrong position, such as in the South or the North in a dream means committing or witnessing a despicable action that arouses abhorrence and that may die quickly, depending on how long will that new crescent remain in that position. Shrouding Shrouding the body of a deceased person in a dream is a cause of happiness for a sad person and repentance for a sinner. If someone sees himself brokering on behalf of a friend or a relative to purchase a shroud for him in a dream, it means that he will pay and intercede on behalf of someone who strayed from Allah's path, whom one regularly admonishes and advises to correct his actions and thoughts. Hole Falling into a hole and crying for help to no avail in a dream means taking a short trip. A hole in a dream also represents a poor woman who strives to cover others pitfalls, though she cannot veil her own. Hiding inside a hole in a dream also means appeasement of one's fears, or ending of one's adversities. If while hiding, one finds food, or fresh water, or a cloth to cover himself in the dream, it means profiting from sources one does not anticipate, or making peace with an opponent. Back The back symbolizes the person’s back, support, center of power, sure resort, and value.
• Being bent: (1) Tragedy. (2) Hair will turn white.
• Seeing a friend’s back: He will turn away.
• Seeing the enemy’s back: Will be safe from harm from this enemy.

Eagle The eagle symbolizes a strong man, a warrior who can be trusted neither by a friend nor by a foe. Its baby is an intrepid son who mixes with rulers.
• An eagle seen on a rooftop or in a house: The Archangel of Death will visit that house.

Flying According to Al-Nabulsi, if the dreamer has too many aspirations and is a vain person, any dream involving flying is null and void. For others:
• Dreaming repeatedly of flying: (1) The dreamer has many wishes. (2) The dreamer is frivolous and uncontrollable when angry. (3) The dreamer is happy. (4) The dreamer is superstitious and draws an evil omen from certain things.
• Flying: Travelling. The best dream in this section is that in which the flying is in the direction of the Qiblah, the place toward which worshipers turn their faces when they pray. Happiness (Elation; Excitement; Joy) In general, happiness in a dream means sorrow. To be happy about something which the heart does not feel comfortable with, or which the heart does not qualify as correct conduct or behavior in a dream means sadness and sorrow in wakefulness. Happiness in a dream also means being indifferent about following Allah's commands. Pillow The king's pillow in a dream represents his deputies, ministers and administrators. As for most people, a pillow in a dream represents one's intimate friends and brethren. The interpretation of a pillow in a dream is also similar to that of a mattress or a carpet. As for scholars, a pillow in a dream denotes their piety and righteousness. Crocodile The crocodile symbolizes a policeman; because, according to Ibn Siren, it is the most evil creature, which can be trusted neither by an enemy nor by a friend. It could also be a treacherous thief or an unfair merchant ready to betray anyone. If you dream of being dragged to the sea and devoured by a crocodile, you will fall into the hands of a policeman who will take your money and kill you. Incident - Central pillar of the house breaking A woman came to Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, and said: "Oh Messenger of God, I saw in a dream that the central pillar which supports the ceiling of my house broke, and the ceiling caved in." Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) replied: "Your husband will return to his home from a journey." Soon, the husband returned home from a business trip, and the wife was happy. Church For a Christian person, seeing a church in a dream signifies a house of worship, religion, knowledge, devotion, work, ascetic detachment, fear of wrongdoing, penance, lamentation and it could mean crying. A church in a dream also could mean distress, trouble, slander, innovation, injustice, a business club, a meeting house, bingo, wine, alcoholic consumption, communion, weddings or a wife. In a dream, a church also can represent its parish, diocese, ministry, clergyman or a chaplain. Ridhwan Seeing him (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also denotes a divine grace which is bestowed secretly and openly upon the one who sees him. Seeing Ridhwan (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also denotes a happy life, joy, peace, comfort and blessings in this world and in the next. If one sees the heavenly angels coming before him to congratulate him in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty has forgiven that person his sins and endowed him with the gift of patience and forbearance through which he will triumph in this life and be blessed in the next. Circumcision Circumcision in a dream means purification, cleanliness, discarding impurity, celebrations or happy reunions. If one sees himself being circumcised in a dream, it means that he did something good which Allah Almighty has accepted, and by its virtue, Allah Almighty has forgiven him his sins, or it may mean that he will undergo an operation to open his veins or to bleed them. Sound of animals In a dream, the sound of a crowd means money beside other benefits. The bleating of sheep in a dream means distress and fear. The neigh of horses in a dream means might and honor. The barking of a dog in a dream means vain talk and meddling in others business. The sound of a lynx in a dream means pampering oneself and wantonness. The cooing of pigeons in a dream means crying, sorrows or marriage. The chirp of swallows in a dream means beneficial words. The croaking of frogs in a dream means beatings or death. The sound of bells and the hissing of snakes in a dream represents a fight, an argument, a warning, or a war. The braying of donkeys in a dream means cursing in the darkness. Laughing Laughing in a dream means happiness and joy in wakefulness, except if one bursts with a horselaugh or falls over his back from laughing in his dream. If so, then it means crying. If one's laughter in his dream is caused by a joke, then it denotes his dishonesty. The same goes for laughing by imitation in a dream which means falling into sin. Laughing in a dream also could mean sorrow in wakefulness. Laughing in a dream also means that one will receive news about a newborn son. If one's laughter in a dream is as gentle and soft as a smile, then it denotes his good character and means happiness, or it could denote exactly what he shall see in wakefulness. Insanity (Craziness; Excitement; Madman; Mental derangement) In a dream, insanity or any of the above conditions represent prosperity, merit and prestige. Insanity in a dream also indicates desiring the world, festivities, or social fun for one who seeks such connections. If one acts irrationally as a consequence of something that affected his life in a dream, it denotes profits he earns from usury. Seeing oneself extremely happy and excited in a dream means entering paradise. In general, insanity represents profits equal to the degree of one's irrational behavior in his dream.
