Threat Receiving a threat in a dream means victory over one's assailant, opponent, or adversary, or it could mean developing a defence mechanism against any danger from that side. If the threat comes from an unknown person, such a person is a Satan, particularly if the threat is directed against one's prayers, charitable actions, or devotion. Wash It could also refer to an honest man who brings back to the right path many people who had gone astray or were misleading others.
• Lying on a mortuary washing table: Promotion and the end of worries.
• One or more dead persons requesting the dreamer to wash their clothes: The dreamer is requested to recall God, pray for someone, give sadaqa, or alms, settle a debt, satisfy an adversary, or carry out a will.

Sermon • A person who is not a born orator dreaming of delivering a speech or a sermon during the pilgrimage season: His homonym or opposite number will do so. People will praise the dreamer for his righteousness.
• Dreaming of having successfully completed a sermon and prayer service and that people are pleased with what they have heard: The dreamer will become an obeyed ruler. Dye If one sees his dyed hands wrapped or bandaged in a dream, it means that he will lose a trial or a fight with his rivals, or that he will fail to meet such a challenge again. Dyeing only the finger with henna in a dream represents branches of dates or clusters of grapes. In general, dyeing one's hands with henna or one's hair with regular dye as a makeup in a dream represents joy for the husband and wife as long as they do not exceed the norms. Dyeing one's hands and feet in a dream means redecorating one's house. If a poor person sees himself dyeing his hands or hair in a dream, it means that he will cover up the loss of his ablution during prayers or during his reading of the Holy Quran or during other ritual occasions where he is required to have ablution before proceeding. Requital (Retaliation; Retribution) In a dream, requital means longevity, departure from one's past, or it could mean instituting justice, or performing penance that will purify the person from his sins, such as prayers, voluntary fasting and alms giving. Child birth • A man dreaming of being pregnant: Will be immersed in deep trouble, but will be safe if he delivered in the dream.
• A man dreaming that he has delivered a child: (1) If poor, will get rich. (2) If rich, will have troubles and worries. (3) If a bachelor, will quickly get married, as normally, it is the wife who should deliver. (4) A relative will die.
• A sick person giving birth to a child: Will die.

Donkey • A donkey braying over a mosque or on top of a minaret: An atheist will invite people to go his way, or a heretic will predicate his heresy. Conversely, a donkey crying as a real muezzin does, inviting people to respond to the call of prayer with a loud but melodious voice, means a disbeliever will embrace Islam or will proclaim the truth and serve as a model for others.
• A person dreaming that he has many donkeys: Will befriend some ignorant folk, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that says: “As they were frightened asses.” (“Al-Muddaththir,” verse 50.)
• Riding on a donkey and going on smoothly and harmoniously: Your endeavours are good and orderly.
• Eating donkey meat: Will earn money without partner.

Stairway Coming near a staircase in a dream also means attaining success and a growing piety. Each step represents a different station. Climbing a staircase in a dream also represents the dangers one may have to cross. Seeing a staircase with five steps in a dream represents the five time prayers, or the pulpit where the Imam stands to deliver his Friday sermon. House • A sound person building a house with concrete or clay in a place he knows: Welfare and benefits.
• A sound person building a house with concrete or clay in an unknown place: The dreamer will do or has already done something for which he will be rewarded in the Hereafter. If the house was built with bricks, gypsum, and lime, it would mean that a sin will be committed or that the dreamer has amassed a fortune through sin and will regret it in the Hereafter, owing to the fact that fire plays a major role in the manufacturing of such constructing material. The dream would have a happy ending if the dreamer destroyed the house before waking up.
• A sick person or someone who has an ill relative or friend building a house: A tomb.
• A house of unknown construction material in an unknown location and with unknown people, isolated from the rest: The Hereafter, especially if dead persons the dreamer knows are seen in it. Monkey A monkey in a dream represents someone with every type of faults. Fighting with a monkey and beating him in a dream means falling sick then recovering from one's illness. If the monkey wins the fight, then it means falling to an illness that has no cure. A monkey in a dream also represents a sinner and a criminal. Monkey's bite in a dream represents a fight or having an argument with someone. A monkey in a dream also represents a deceitful person, a sorcerer, or an illness. If one becomes a monkey in a dream, it means profiting from sorcery, or engaging in adultery. A monkey in a dream also represents a defeated enemy. Beat • The one beaten in the dream will benefit from his assailant, unless he was beaten with a wooden stick, in which case it would mean that the said assailant will make a promise to the dreamer and fail to keep it.

Bismalah If a deceased person writes it in one's dream, it means that such a person dwells encompassed with Allah's mercy. If the one who wrote it in the dream is alive and if he erases it or if a bird steals it from him in the dream, it means the nearing of his death and exhaustion of his sustenance in this world. If one recites it during his prayers in a dream when it is not his custom to do so, it means borrowing an unnecessary amount of money or giving preference to leaning toward one's mother rather than his father or the opposite. Bridegroom If a persons sees himself as having become abridgegroom and he also recognizes his bride in the dream it is a glad tiding that he will soon marry, or he will wield power or he will become the owner of something of value. Kneel • Kneeling: Will live long, till the body is bent.
• Kneeling to pray to God: (1) Will submit to the will of the Almighty. (2) Will observe the limits and prohibitions set by God and discharge religious duties. (3) Will pray a lot and quickly fulfil all desires relating to this world and the Hereafter. (4) Will triumph over anyone showing hostility.
• Failing to kneel during the Muslim prayer till its time is over: The dreamer is not paying his religious dues.

Key • Holding many keys: Will wield a considerable influence.
• Holding a wooden key: The dreamer should be careful not to entrust his money to anybody, as wood symbolizes hypocrisy.
• An iron key: A powerful and dangerous man.
• Holding a key without dents: The dreamer will be unfair to an orphan.
• Opening a door or a lock: Will triumph over enemies, probably with the help of a strong man.
• Opening a door or a lock without using any key: The dreamer will obtain what he aims for, thanks to his prayers and good deeds or to his parents prayers for him.

Seeing Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-alayhi-wasallam) in a Pleasant Mood If someone sees the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu-alayhi-wasallam) in a happy and pleasant mood then such a dream is in reality a harbinger of goodness and happiness. Allah Occupying Someone's Bed If someone sees Allah occupying his bed, congratulating him, then this is a glad tiding that Allah will grant him piety and sainthood and that Allah's blessings will descend upon him. Impurity (arb. Junub. A state of ritual impurity that inhibits performance of one's prayers. Feces; Semen; Urine) In a dream, to be in a state of ritual impurity means that one is avoiding to comply with fundamental religious obligations. According to Islamic traditions, one must have ablution even if when pursuing any of his daily interests. If one sees himself performing his prayers without the required ritual ablution in a dream, it means corruption in his religious practices, though it also could be interpreted as committing oneself to serve Allah's religion. Earth If the earth opens and swallows him in a dream, it means that he is ashamed of something he did, or it could mean hurdles in one's business, a journey, or imprisonment. If the earth looks like a desert land in the dream, it may mean that such a person may undertake an urgent trip. Beating the ground with a stick in a dream means taking a business trip. Eating dirt in a dream means earnings an equal amount of money to what one eats in his dream. If the earth cracks and opens, and if a beast comes and speaks to the people in their own tongue in a dream, it means that people will witness a miracle or a happening that will bewilder everyone. This may also mean nearing the end of one's life. Digging the earth in a dream also means plotting and deceiving others. If the earth speaks good words to someone in the dream, it means that he or she will attain whatever they are told.
