Garden A garden in a dream also represents a marketplace, a new bride's house, a property, an animal domesticated for service, a shop, a business, a tavern, a bathhouse, generosity, an army made of slaves, cattle or personal assets. If one sees himself inside a garden in a dream, it means comfort and growth in his life. If the house to which this garden belongs is Allah's house, then the man seeing it is in paradise. If he is sick, it means that he will die from his illness and enter that paradise. If the garden is unknown in the dream, it means martyrdom and particularly if he finds inside the garden a woman calling him to herself, or to drink milk or honey from the garden's rivers and the same is true if the garden does not look like the ones he is accustomed to see in the world. Otherwise, If one sees himself looking at a garden, and if he is unmarried, it means that he will meet a suitable woman and get married. Horse If one sees his horse drowning in a dream, it means that he may die from an illness. Buying a horse and tending the money to the seller in the dream means profits in one's business, or earning money from teaching. Selling one's horse in a dream means doing good and being grateful for it. If one's horse bites him in a dream, it means that he will lead an army in a war. If one kills a horse in his dream, it means that he will be awarded status, rank and money. Slaughtering a horse for other than food in a dream means spoiling one's livelihood. Eye • One’s eye becoming dim: The dreamer is eyeing a friendly woman indecently.
• Having weak eyesight: (1) The dreamer needs people’s help and is going adrift. (2) The dreamer’s children will be ill.

Salesman Selling expensive fashion clothing and declining from taking money in a dream represents a trustworthy person who will attain a high ranking position. A fruit salesman in a dream represents a hard-working man who gives priority to his religious life over that of the world. An aromatic herbs salesperson in a dream represents a soft hearted man who cries easily, or a Quran reader who recites its verses in an emotional way that affects his listeners. Sugar Sugar symbolizes joy, healing, the dissipation of worries and misery, the fulfilment of aspirations, the culmination of any action, the illustrious, beautiful, and pleasant wife, the noble and intelligent son who can assimilate any art or profession, the honest gains, and the pure and clean knowledge devoid of any heresy. One grain of sugar is a kiss from a lover, a loved one, a son or a daughter. Conversely, plenty of sugar represents gossip. According to Ibn Siren, selling sugar is a bad dream. Pomegranate • Picking a pomegranate with red seeds: The dreamer will obtain one thousand gold coins (big money).
• Picking a pomegranate with white seeds: The dreamer will obtain one thousand silver coins (small money).
• Selling a pomegranate: The dreamer has given up the Hereafter in favour of worldly temptations and transient delights.
• Eating pomegranate peel: The dreamer will recover from a disease.

Baker If one sees himself buying bread from a baker and if the baker does not look at how much money is tendered in the dream, it means that the baker is a noble man, and he is capable of doing good deeds without anticipating a reward. A baker in a dream also represents someone who brings benefits to others, for they all need him. Receiving a loaf of bread from a baker in a dream means earning an honest income. If one who is not a baker sees himself baking bread and selling it to people in a dream, it means that he solicit customers for a prostitute. Manumission (Abraham; Ismail; Immolation; Liberation) Manumission of a slave in a dream represents a ritual sacrifice, or the offering of an animal during the Feats of Immolation, on the 10th day of the Arabic month of Zul-Hijjah, and following the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. If one gives permission to his wife to leave him in a dream, it means that they will be divorced. If a bondman sees himself liberated in a dream, it means that he or his master may die shortly. Pearl Swallowing pearls in a dream means forgetting what one has learned from the Quran. Swallowing pearls in a dream also could mean acquiring wisdom and knowledge. Selling pearls in a dream means acquiring knowledge and growing to be famous and respected. Throwing pearls at people in a dream and seeing people collecting them while one remains aloof, represents a judge who issues his verdict, or admonishes people who accept what he says and abide by it accordingly. Merchant If one sees himself as a store owner, sitting in his shop, surrounded with his merchandise, giving orders, buying and selling in a dream, it means a commanding post in his own field. If the person is not a businessman, but still sees himself in a dream carrying some trade tools such as a scale, a scoop, etcetera, it means financial balance in his life. Merchants in a dream also represent travel, news, profits or a high position. A merchant in a dream also may represent a spendthrift, or negligence of several religious obligations set by Allah Almighty. A woman merchant in a dream represents an enemy. Atheism • Seeing many atheists: Will have many children.
• An atheist slave girl: Indecent joy and pleasure.
• Atheists entering the dreamer’s house to fight him: Enemies are after his blood and will succeed inasmuch as they penetrated his home.
• Falling captive in atheist hands: Enormous worries.
• Being held hostage or mortgaging oneself to atheists: Your sins are like a sword hanging over your neck.

Dove The dove symbolizes the virtuous, loving, and beloved woman who sticks to her man. It also alludes to the messenger, the letter, and the unexpected or the urgent information. According to legend, it was blessed by Noah after he was disappointed by a crow. He had sent the latter to view the condition of the water, but the crow, having seen carrion floating on the surface, forgot all about its mission. By contrast, the dove brought Noah a green leaf. Likewise, the dove refers to a girl, in particular the white one, sight of whom means good religion. Black pigeons are the leading figures of both sexes in society. But the best dove to be dreamt of is that which is green, for it means piety. The piebald or spotted doves are people of mixed blood. The baby doves are children and servants (slaves in the ancient mentality). The dovecote represents the ladies quarter. Pigeons cooing is a love quarrel.

Sheep Sheep are a booty. Black sheep are Arabs; white ones are aliens. The ewe, or female sheep, is a well-off or rather wealthy woman. The billy goat is an awesome man or, on the contrary, a slave, a Negro, or even an ignorant person, to borrow the expression of Ibn Siren. The same interpretation of dreams involving a ram applies to it. The she-goat symbolizes a humble or humiliated woman or a jobless servant, because her body is uncovered where it should not be, like the poor. It also refers to the average year. Meat • Eating fox meat: Will fall ill and recover very fast.
• Eating duck meat: Will receive money from slave women or servants or will be blessed with a rich woman.
• Eating falcon meat: Money from the king or any supreme authority.
• Vulture meat: Money and influence.

Arrow • Hitting the target with an arrow: Will have a male child, if wife is expecting.
• Throwing an arrow and missing the target: Will send a messenger who will fail in his mission.
• A man’s woman, girlfriend, slave, or servant throwing an arrow and hitting him in his heart: She will tease and flirt with him, and he will be captured by her charm.

Pearl • Piercing beautifully shaped and lined up pearls: Will interpret the Holy Quran in a correct manner.
• Piercing a pearl with a wooden nail: Will make love to a prohibited relative. A man told Ibn Siren he dreamed that he was piercing a pearl. “Do you know your mother?” the interpreter asked. “No, she was taken captive when I was a small child.” “Have you recently bought a slave?” “Yes.” “Do you sleep with her?” “Yes.” “Then fear God, for she is that mother.”

House As for the door’s lock and handle they symbolize the wife or the servant. The supports of the door are the male children, the slaves or servants, or the brothers and assistants. For Ibn Siren, the keyhole is the dreamer’s ear, meaning probably the house servant who reports everything to the master. The unknown house is the Hereafter, especially if it has a revealing name like Darussalam (The House of Peace).
• A sick person seeing himself in an unknown house: Will die peacefully.
• A healthy person seeing himself in an unknown house: (1) Will go to Mecca (Makkah). (2) Will engage in Jihad or Holy Struggle. (3) Will become ascetic. (4) Will acquire learning. (5) Will endure hardships with stoicism. (6) Will give alms.
• Building a new house: (1) If ill, the dreamer will recover and become healthy. (2) If there is a sick person in the house, that person will recover, unless the dreamer is in the habit of burying the dead in his house, in which case the new house would mean the tomb of that patient. The same bad interpretation would apply if the house was built in an impossible place, if it was painted in white, or if funereal flowers were seen in the dream. (3) If a bachelor, the dreamer will get married. (4) The dreamer will find a husband for his daughter and let her stay with him, if the girl is old. (5) The dreamer will have a concubine. Veil • A woman dreaming of removing her veil in a public place: Will no longer have any shame or prudence.
• A woman dreaming that her veil is gone: Her husband will abandon her. If she finds it back, the husband will return. If she is not married, the ordeal will be faced by her brother or uncle, et cetera.
• Something wrong with the veil: The husband will have a tragedy.

Butcher If the butcher is a man in the dream, he then represents the angel of death. Whatever place he appears in will bear the consequences. A butcher in a dream also represents an unjust person. In a dream, if one sees a butcher who specializes in selling animal heads, he represents a guardian of people's estates, or a treasurer of a company, he also could represent adversities or death. If the animals heads cannot be identified in the dream, and if they still have their skin, hair, and are dripping blood in the dream, then it means the disappearance of the people of knowledge and that knowledge will become selectively disseminated by political leaders. Idol Worship • Worshiping a silver idol: Will have an affair with a woman—be she a free one, a slave, or a servant—with a lot of betrayal and corruption on either side in the affair.
• Worshiping a brass, bronze, iron, or lead idol: Will forget all about religion and worship the pleasures of life.
