Diving (Pearl fishery; Plunge) If one sees himself diving into the ocean for pearls in a dream, it indicates his attachment to worldly treasures. Patient It is not desirable for a patient to see himself stained with blood or riding on a camel, a donkey, a pig, or a cow. A good dream would have him look fat, tall, and large, or see cattle and cows from afar, wash with water, drink clear and pure water, wear a wreath, or climb on a fruitful tree or to the top of a mountain. Ocean If one sees himself drinking the entire water of the sea though no one sees him except the king in a dream, it means that he will reign and live a long life. Drinking any portion thereof also means equal earnings to what he takes in. If one sees himself drinking from it to quench his thirst in the dream, it means riches, strength and longevity. If one sees himself asking for some of its water to drink in a dream, it means that he is seeking to work for such a strong person or ruler. If he pours its water in a pitcher in the dream, it means prosperity, or that he will receive a bounteous gift from Allah Almighty to encompass a high rank as well as riches. Sugar mill (Mill) A sugar mill in a dream represents success in the world, sufferings, burial, money, usury, the release of prisoners, a bathhouse, a lavatory, discarding what is shameful, waters, spinning, breathing, a college, or a fellowship house. Saleh Dreaming of the prophet Saleh indicates: (1) Mean and insolent people will give the dreamer plenty of deep trouble and worries, but he will ultimately triumph and split away from them after they fail to agree on anything. • Scabies with no water: Trouble and worries caused by relatives.
• Scabies with water: Money but not without toiling.
• A poor person dreaming of scabies: Will find a fortune.

Melon A water melon in a dream represents a sick person with many problems including suppression of urine. A melon in a dream also means that one will be struck with an adversity for which he will find no solution, and he will not understand its consequences for sometime to come. Dance • Being dragged to a dance: Escape from a problem or an accusation.
• A child dancing: Bad dream, meaning that the subject might become a deaf-mute, because mutes use their hands to make signs, like a dancing child.
• Dancing on a hill or any elevated place: Fear.
• A prisoner dreaming that he is dancing: Will be unchained and freed from prison.
• A rich or poor woman dancing: Silly acts and big scandal.
• Dreaming that you dance while sailing in reality: Hardships are ahead.
• A poor person dancing: Will get rich, but only for a while.
• A professional male dancer dancing for himself: Someone associated with catastrophes.
• A professional female dancer: (1) The underworld, or the mean world. (2) Rest for whoever is tired.
• A bondsman dancing: Will be beaten up.

Washing the dead If one does wash the garment of the deceased person in the dream, it means the redemption of that person. Seer (Dream interpreter) If a seer who predicts events or a dream interpreter sees himself falling into a deep well in a dream, it means that he will be involved with the life of governors, or high society who will seek his council to interpret their dreams. Yusuf The prophet Yusuf (Joseph) talking to the dreamer or giving him something: Will become an expert in the interpretation of dreams, as well as history and its chronology.
• Seeing Yusuf: (1) The science of dream interpretation. (2) Kingship and succession. (3) The loss of one’s family, children, and other relatives. (4) A machination against the dreamer. (5) Drought and high prices, as was the case in his time.63 (6) Prison and release from prison. (7) Luck with women, as Yusuf is said to have been of an unequalled beauty. (8) Victory over the enemy, followed by a pardon. (9) An allusion to seas, rivers, and drainage facilities. (10) The transportation of the remains of dead persons from one country to another. (11) An outstanding miracle such as the one that happened to Yusuf’s father when he recovered his eyesight and he received the shirt sent to him by his son. (12) Will be the least lucky among his brothers, who will be so wicked as to let him go to jail, but he will then be saved by God, his brothers, will submit to his authority, and he will forgive them along with other enemies. A Well in the House If a person dreams that he has dug a well in his house or he merely dreams of a well present in his house and such a well swells with water it means that Allah will grant him much barakah in his wealth and such wealth will become a means of earning him increased livelihood without much toil and hard work. Hot (Bathhouse; Boiling water; Hot pepper; Pungent) Eating hot food, or drinking a hot drink in a dream may represent arduous earnings, or abundance that becomes a burden. It may also represent unlawful earnings, illegal profits, losses, or losing any blessing which maybe contained in one's deeds. Drink (Beverage) Drinking an unknown sweet drink or a glass of a cold and fresh water in a dream means guidance, knowledge, having good taste, and the diligence of the people of the path. Drinking a glass of cold sweet water in the early morning in a dream means lawful earnings and profits for everyone, except for someone who is used to drinking hot boiled water which means sickness, stress, depression and a scare from evil spirits. Any yellow colored drink in a dream means sickness. Drinking an infusion of a violet flower in a dream means recovering from an illness, or avoiding certain food in one's diet. Catarrh The catarrh is acquired money that does not fructify.
• Expectorating catarrh: (1) If an ordinary person, will spend secretly. (2) If ill, will heal and be relieved. (3) If a scholar, knowledge is not so big.

Ship If an indebted person does so in his dream, it means that he will repay his debts, while for a deprived person, he too will find plenitude and acquire wealth from unexpected sources. If one sees his ship sailing to the shore, then if it becomes amphibious, driving him on dry land in the dream, it means that he will waiver in his faith and deviate from the path of truth to follow innovations, hypocrisy and insolence. If he is not seeking knowledge, it means that he will divorce his wife, then proceed to live with her in sin. If he is a merchant, it means that his business will stagnate and he will seek unlawful methods to market his merchandise. In a dream, a ship also represents good deeds, righteous companions, associating with a wise man, a good fellowship, praiseworthy deeds, a handcraft, stagnation of one's business, fear, hope, salvation, a mosque, a marketplace, one's father, one's mother, master, teacher, educator, wealth, a house, an adulteress, a vehicle, one's wife, or his servant. Mountain In a dream, a mountain that stands high is alive, but a crumbling mountain which has turned into a pile of rocks is dead. If a person sees himself climbing an erect mountain, eating from its plants and drinking from its water, and if he qualifies to govern, it means that he will be appointed to a governing post under the auspices of a stringent ruler, though his subjects do receive benefits from his government. Melon If one sees himself extending his hands to the heavens from where he receives a water melon in the dream, it means that he is seeking a job in the government or a wealth which he shall shortly receive. A ripened water melon in a dream means a sickness, while a green and unripened melon means youth and a good health. Honeydew in a dream represent a group of men and women who possess good character and manners. In a dream, a melon also represents a beautiful woman though with bad qualities.
