A Believer Seeing A Dream Abu Hurarirah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said: "Dreams are of three types: The true dream, dreams about something that has happened to the man himself, and dreams in which the Shaitan frightens someone. So whoever sees what he dislikes, then he should get up and perform Salah." And he would say: "I like fetters and I dislike the iron collar." And he would say: " Whoever has seen me (in a dream) then it is I , for indeed Shaitan is not able to resemble me." Incident - Central pillar of the house breaking While the husband is in town, the woman saw the same dream again, and she sought to ask Prophet Muhammad (Alayhi-Salam) about it. When she did not find him, Abu Baler was present, so she told him the dream, and he replied: "Your husband will soon die." Mounting a Horse If a person sees himself as mounting a horse which has not defects at all while such a horse trots slowly and gracefully, it means he will acquire honour, dignity and respectability. The same is the interpretation if he sees himself owning, acquiring or securing the horse. For Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-alayhi-wasallam) has said : “The horse. Lot (Allah's prophet Lut; Nephew of Allah's prophet and bosom friend Abraham, upon both of them be peace) Seeing the prophet Lot in a dream means distress and trouble caused by one's own people and wife, or perhaps it could mean victory over one's enemy and witnessing Allah's wrath toward them. Seeing the prophet Lot in a dream also denotes obliteration of a nation, effacement, earthquake and destruction if the people who displease their Lord and follow the conduct of the dwellers of the two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Seeing the prophet Aaron (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream means exaltedness, leadership, or that one may become an Imam, a vice-regent of a great person, and perhaps suffer from many adversities because of it. Finally, he will triumph and attain his goals, or he may destroy a tyrant and an unjust ruler. If a warrior sees Allah's prophet Moses or his brother the prophet Aaron, upon both of them be peace and blessings, in a dream, it means that he will be victorious and triumph over his enemy. Arabic months If one sees his dream during the third lunar month, known in Arabic as Rabi-ul-Awwal, and if he is a merchant, it means that his business will grow, prosper and that his money will be blessed or perhaps he may conceive a child during that month. If he is under stress and worries, they will be dispelled. If he is persecuted or treated unjustly, he will end in a triumph, or it could mean that he will hear good news, or he may be appointed as governor, or he may admonish people to do good and discard evil, for it is the month in which Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, was born to this world. Head If one's head is hit with a stone in a dream, it means that he neglects to perform his night prayers before sleeping. If one contracts any pain in his head or neck in a dream, it means an illness. If one sees his head anointed with fragrances or oils in a dream, it represents his good endeavors and piety. Eating someone's head raw in a dream means backbiting him. Eating it cooked in a dream means steeling money from him if he recognizes him. Otherwise, it means steeling from one's own property or share. Holding one's head between one's hands in a dream means reorganization of one's debts. Incident - Eating the clouds On another occasion the Imaam had been asked about another person who had seen that he was standing in the shade of a cloud. He replied:” “If this person is ill, he will be cured: if he is in debt, he will be absolved of his debt; if he is a destitute, Allah will make him wealthy; if he is oppressed, he will receive assistance. For, clouds, symbolize rahmah blessings) and anything shrouded by clouds is shrouded by rahmah. The Ambiyaa (Alayhimus Salaam) Seeing the prophets of Allah is the same as seeing the angels of Allah Taala suggesting freshness, plentiful rains, reduction of prices of things etc. There is only one exception : the observer will not attain shahaadah by seeing the ambiyaa (As) as is in the case of seeing the angels of Allah. Abdullah bin Salam Holding Onto Islam Till Death Narrated 'Abdullah bin Salam: (In a dream) I saw myself in a garden, and there was a pillar in the middle of the garden, and there was a handhold at the top of the pillar. I was asked to climb it. I said, "I cannot." Then a servant came and lifted up my clothes and I climbed (the pillar), and then got hold of the handhold, and I woke up while still holding it. I narrated that to the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) who said, "The garden symbolizes the garden of Islam, and the handhold is the firm Islamic handhold which indicates that you will be adhering firmly to Islam until you die." Star Stars symbolize people. Those that have a masculine name represent men; those with a feminine name allude to women. Big ones refer to notables, small ones to youths, children, or slaves. The ones the Arabs used as guiding marks when they moved in the desert are the Prophet Muhammad’s companions. Stars that had once upon a time been worshipped instead of God and were thus metamorphosed, says Ibn Siren, like the Dog Star or Sirius, Venus, and Canopus, symbolize irreligious and evil persons. For a king, the stars are his soldiers and followers; for a bride or a bridegroom the stars are her or his entourage.

Companions • Seeing one of the companions of the Holy Prophet, like Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Omar ibn El-Khattab, Othman ibn Affan, and Ali ibn Abi Taleb, or all of them alive: The dreamer is blessed with a strong religious faith and a powerful family. He will also be promoted, dignified, and exalted.
• Seeing the Prophet’s companions repeatedly in one’s dreams: Things will go for the better.

Bathroom • Dreaming of a devastated bathroom is good.
• Dreaming of simply seeing a bathroom means worries and troubles.
• Dreaming of washing in a bathroom means joy and happiness. However, if the water is lukewarm, it is a good dream. If the water is too hot, it is a bad dream.
• Dreaming of using a scented soap while washing and cleaning oneself in a bathroom: (1) For a rich man means financial losses, unless he had not washed till the scent was gone. Sweet Smelling Flowers Fragrant flowers such as roses, jasmine, narcissus, marigold, daisies etc.- if any of these are seen detached from its stem-it suggest that the observer will lose his accumulated wealth. But if they are not, it is a harbinger of a son who will be good, hones and righteous. How righteous he will be depends on the intensity of the fragrance given off by such a flower. Civet (Castor; Civet cat; A fatty substance with a musk like scent which is secreted by a gland near the genitals of a civet, a deer or a beaver. This substance is also used in making perfumes.) In a dream, a civet represents honorable profits or valuable properties, botanical gardens, a school from which one can acquire knowledge and draw benefits, or a business from which one can make profits, or it could mean a profitable leather trade. If one prepares the civet on fire in the dream, it means that he is preparing amber perfume, musk or aloe perfume that is extracted from an aromatic heartwood of the mezereum tree family. Islam (Religion of Islam; Surrender to Allah's will; Submission) To see oneself as a Muslim, praising Allah Almighty, thanking Him, facing the Kabah in one's prayers, or to see oneself embracing Islam in a dream means straightening one's life, or repentance from one's sins. If one sees himself renewing his Islam in a dream, it means safety from plagues, sickness, or adversities. To proclaim the two testimonies; " There is no allah other than Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, " in one's dream means relief from distress, or guidance after heedlessness. Smell Smelling a sweet fragrance in a dream means uneasiness or a light illness. Smelling a bad odor in a dream means hearing or speaking bad words, or it could mean distress or depression. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Scepter (Authority; Mace) A scepter in a dream means good conduct, emulating the leading example of the Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, rising to a high ranking position, or becoming an authority. A scepter in a dream also could represent a wild son, a crooked man, or a hypocrite. Playing with a scepter in dream means using the help of such a person and assisting him to lay hands on his rivals. The crosier represents the human heart and the staff represents man's tongue. Torah If one's wife is pregnant, it means that she will bear a child who resembles his father. If one's wife is pregnant, and if he sees himself holding the Torah in a dream, it means that she will beget a daughter, for the gender of the word Torah is feminine. It also means that he will mix with evil companions. Similar interpretations are given to carrying other scriptures. To see the Torah, or the Evangel, or the Gospel in a dream is as though one has seen Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, because his name (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) is mentioned in all three of them.
