Hatchet The hatchet symbolizes a strong and courageous man. He is perspicacious in both easy and difficult matters. He discriminates between things and is trenchant in disputes. Smelling an apple Smelling an apple inside a mosque in a dream means getting married. If a woman sees herself smelling an apple during a reception in a dream, it denotes her misconduct, and that she could commit an abominable sin during that same evening. Cheek The cheeks symbolize, among other things, the person’s endeavours.
• Having beautiful cheeks: Fertility and joy.
• Having ugly cheeks: Harm and disease.

Pulpit The mosque’s pulpit, rostrum, or tribune symbolizes an Arab ruler, a prestigious Muslim, or the Muslim masses.

Vegetable • Collecting a bunch of legumes from one’s garden or backyard: Evil and rupture on the part of a group of female relatives.
• A vegetable plant growing in arid land or in a place in which such herbs cannot possibly grow, especially if it is in a house or a mosque: An allusion to a man. Seen inside a house, a vegetable means that such a man will marry someone from the family. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
The Ambiyaa (Alayhimus Salaam) Seeing the prophets of Allah is the same as seeing the angels of Allah Taala suggesting freshness, plentiful rains, reduction of prices of things etc. There is only one exception : the observer will not attain shahaadah by seeing the ambiyaa (As) as is in the case of seeing the angels of Allah. Thirst • Feeling thirsty in front of a river, a spring, or a well, but being unable to reach the water or drink from it: Things will not go the way you want.
• Drinking cold water: Honest gains.

Incident - Al-Junayyid sitting by his doorsteps Imam Al-Junayyid reported that he was once sitting by his doorsteps. A blind man who was asking people to help him passed by him. Al-Junayyid said to himself: "If this man trusted in God Almighty and sat on the corner of a street, or at the entrance of a mosque, God Almighty will surely provide for him without his asking." Harvest • Plants being harvested in the marketplace: The people will make plenty of benefits and become prosperous and happy.
• The people of the area themselves, not any strangers, harvesting at the mosque or a similar place: Blessings and rewards.

Delirium (Distraction; Love; Unbalance) In a dream, delirium represents unbalance, bewilderment about the world, utter confusion, giddiness or falling passionately in love, or it could denote a better end for all things. (Also see Distraction) Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Wending one's way (Direction) To wend one's way, or to take the road, or to go in the direction of the door in a dream means establishing the course of one's life on the basis of righteousness, or finding the real cause of things, or it could mean success, depending on how close one gets to his goal in the dream. Sweat • One’s clothes being wet with sweat: Will save money for children as much as there was sweat.

Bulldozer In a dream, a bulldozer means levelling things, changing them, changing one's profession, moving from one town to another, or it could mean spreading gossip. A bulldozer in a dream also represents someone who is carrying a difficult responsibility and who depends on a strong and courageous man to help him do it. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Adam If one becomes Adam or a companion of his and should he qualify for such promotion, it means that he will attain it. Adam also represents the element of temporal existence. Seeing him in a dream also implies understanding, for he was the first to see dreams in this world and to interpret the name of things. Market • Missing a transaction or failing to achieve benefits in one: (1) If involved in Jihad, will turn back and miss the opportunity to die as a martyr in the holy war. (2) If planning to go on a pilgrimage, will miss that chance or something will spoil that religious duty after it has been performed. (3) If a student, something will hamper the dreamer’s efforts; he will miss a lecture, or he will learn something for evil purposes, turning away from God. Bathroom According to Imam Jaafar Al-Sadeq (see biography at the beginning of this book), the bathroom could symbolize seven things: (1) The patriarch of the family. (2) A valuable woman. (3) Troubles and unhappiness. (4) A debt. (5) Delay or obstacles. (6) Confirmation or a seal. (7) A loan. For other interpreters, including Ibn Siren and Al-Kirmani:

Storyteller In a dream, a storyteller may represent the Imam of a mosque, or the Khatib who delivers the Friday sermon. A storyteller in a dream also may represent one's livelihood, or intestinal and bowel problems, or he could represent travels. If the stories are new, then they mean disturbances in one's life. Steamroller (Mortar) In a dream, a steamroller represents a hard-working man, or a person who tries to make good of an investment but fails to succeed. A steamroller in a dream also represents force, adversities, aberration, despotism, or it could mean bringing things down to proper level and correcting the course of one's life.
