Ring • Taking a gold ring from the Lord: Bad omen. Similarly bad are rings made of iron, the latter being the ornament of those who reside in Hell, and rings made of copper whose name in Arabic is nahhas, from nahs, meaning “bad luck” or “a jinx.” One more reason, adds Ibn Siren, is that copper is the metal used in manufacturing the rings of the jinn.
• Taking a silver ring from the Holy Prophet or from a religious scholar: The dreamer will acquire learning. In case the ring was made of silver, iron, or copper, the dream would have a very negative interpretation.
• Wearing a ring: Renewal of what the ring refers to, depending on its alloy or composition.

Table The dining table or the table spread symbolizes an honest and generous man, religion, and the dreamer’s wife. One day a man dreamed that every time he stretched his hand to take some food from the table, a dog snatched it from him and ate it. Deserted (Empty; Forlorn; Wretched) A deserted and empty place in a dream signifies poverty or lack of food or sustenance for one's household. An empty place in a dream also could signify distress and trouble. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Christian • Being or becoming a Christian: (1) For a pious person: Will inherit one’s uncle or aunt (the mother’s brother or sister). (2) For a debauchee: Dissatisfaction with God’s bounty and sacrilege by insulting or speaking ill of God. (3) In case the dreamer refuses to eat from the food presented to him: He is dissatisfied with his lot and has committed many sins.
• Seeing an old Christian: A harmless enemy.

Ruby • Wearing a green ruby ring: Wife will give birth to a bright, pious, and knowledgeable boy.
• Receiving a ruby: The dreamer will marry a pretty lady.
• A bachelor wishing to get married dreaming of taking or receiving a ruby: He will marry a beautiful and pious woman in view of the Quranic verses: “In them will be (maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or jinn before them has touched; then which of them favours of your Lord will ye deny?—Like unto rubies and coral.” (“Al-Rahman” [God, the Most Gracious], verses 56–58.)
• Getting from the sea or riverbed heaps of rubies: Plenty of rubies: (1) A reference to money. (2) An additional province for the ruler. (3) More learning for the scholar. (4) Business for the trader.

Swallowing To swallow something one is chewing in a dream means debts, or collectors demanding their money. To swallow dust or sand in a dream means poverty, giving someone a warning look, greed, or it could mean bribing someone in authority. (Also see Chewing; Food) Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
War (Fight) In a dream, war means deception, betrayal, misleading, or trickery. War in a dream also means inflation, rising prices, a plague, food lines, adversities and stress. Aqiq The same stone was used in ornamenting the Taj Mahal in India. The higher qualities of Aqiq (mostly found in anes and Khawlan, in North Yemen) are believed by Orientals to have certain properties, like the ability to slow down the movement of fluids in the body. If somebody is hurt, for instance, while carrying Aqiq or wearing it as a ring whose stone touches the skin, the blood is unlikely to ooze out of the wound. Some men also use it to avoid rapid ejaculation. I was told by one of the few remaining Aqiq craftsmen in North Yemen, a few years ago, that a rich Arab client believed by the craftsman to be a Saudi ambassador had proposed to pay some two hundred thousand dollars for one of those special rings, but his offer had been declined. In Sanaa, the capital of North Yemen, there is a stone that, I was told, was then in the custody of someone called Ahmad Al-Turki, who cannot sell it for its being a waqf (a property confined to public benefit, according to an Islamic code). Solomon Seeing him (uwhp) in a dream also means trials with women and ingratitude on their part. If the person who sees Allah's prophet Solomon in a dream is a governor, it means that he will be dismissed from his functions, though his authority will be restored later on, or he could through cheating, marry a rich woman. If the one who sees Allah's prophet Solomon Alayhi-Salam in a dream practices sorcery, witchcraft, black magic, or invoking jinn or evil spirits, it means that he will profit from his trade and become wealthy after having lost hope in attaining such benefits, or he could triumph over his enemy. Whoever sees Allah's prophet Solomon (Alayhi-Salam) in his dream will receive Allah's favors, including clear visions, clarity of religious interpretations, the ability to learn many languages, or he could become a translator, or perhaps could master the Arabic language. Al-Hasan Dreaming of Al-Hasan and Al-Husain, sons of the caliph and Fatema Al-Zahra, the daughter of the Muslims Holy Prophet: (1) Intrigue and martyrdom. (2) Many wives and children. Pot If the pot one is stirring in his dream does not contain any meat or food, it means that he will ask a poor person to do something beyond his means, and consequently he will not benefit from his doing. A cooking pot in a dream also represents one's relentlessness toward his enemy. A pot in a dream also denotes one's contentment and his acceptance of his destiny and of the divine providence. Lick Licking milk, water, honey or a dash of anything in a dream denotes frugality, tight handedness, or meager earning. To dip one's finger in a plate of tasty food and lick it in a dream may denote a precious metal, a jewel, or a pendant. Travels Moving out of an unknown house in a dream means travelling. If a sick person sees himself travelling from one land into another that he could not recognize in his dream, it means his death. If a traveller sees himself carrying a food basket in a dream, it means that he will take a positive look at things, or that he will make a practical move that will benefit him and his family. Quail (A mountain short-winged and a stout-bodied bird; Mountain quail; Partridge; Woman) In a dream, a mountain quail represents a thief, a confidant, or a pimp who secretly conducts his business of soliciting clients for his prostitutes. Hot (Bathhouse; Boiling water; Hot pepper; Pungent) Eating hot food, or drinking a hot drink in a dream may represent arduous earnings, or abundance that becomes a burden. It may also represent unlawful earnings, illegal profits, losses, or losing any blessing which maybe contained in one's deeds. Mincemeat (Hash) Mincemeat in a dream represents what follows in the food preparation process. First it is minced, then mixed with other ingredients, where its identity changes, then it becomes a dish with a different taste. For an unmarried person, minced meat in a dream means marriage and children, and for a pregnant woman, it means a boy. Chewing gum (Losing the sense of taste; Masticate) Chewing gum in a dream means committing loathsome sins or indulging in sodomy, for the people of the Prophet Lot (Alayhi-Salam) used to chew gum. If one sees himself chewing gum in a dream it also could signify talking too much, or constantly complaining about something, or engaging in a major dispute, or sustaining an argument, or it could mean losing one's sense of taste. Servants (Angels; Vinegar) If one sees servants carrying platters of food, sweets and fruits to serve in one's house in a dream means that someone in that house who had a long illness has just recovered from it, or that he may die as a martyr. Servants in a dream also represent glad tidings. If a king, a merchant, or a man of knowledge see himself eating from the hand of a servant or a nurse in dream, it represents his authority, knowledge, wisdom, falling sick, or it could mean business expansion. Stream If the people are inflicted with adversities or a drought, then it means prosperity and rains, food, or money and their merchandise will not stagnate. If the water in the stream is murky, or salty, or running outside its canal, then it represents a coming calamity that will cause mass sufferings, or a sickness such as cold in the winter and fever in the summer, or it could mean that they will hear bad news about some travellers, or it could represent a richness which is acquired from an unlawful source, or it could mean that he will receive tainted money.
