Flying • A horseman dreaming of flying: Good horsemanship.
• Dreaming of flying on a stretcher, a litter, a bed, or the like: (1) Legs will be affected by a severe ailment. (2) Will become very ill. (3) Will die.
• A dead person flying: Will escape danger.
• A bier flying and people with it: (1) A chief or a scholar will die without anybody knowing about it. (2) A great man will die in a foreign land, during a pilgrimage, or in a battle for the sake of Allah (Jihad). (3) If the dead man on the bier is identified, it means that man in particular. Hell • Dreaming of having entered Hell: (1) The dreamer is committing such sins and abominations as would deserve capital punishment. (2) The dreamer will serve as a judge.
• Having been introduced to Hell: The person who pushed the dreamer into Hell is misleading him and inciting him to commit abominations.
• Having come out unscathed from the Inferno: The dreamer will be immersed in troubles.

Lioness In a dream, a lioness represents an evil woman, or a despot who is also affectionate toward her cubs, or she could represent the daughter of a king or a ruler. Incest • Making love to one’s mother known to be dead in the dream: Will meet her if she is alive.
• Making love to one’s dead mother: The dreamer will die, because mother is synonym for earth.
• Having sex with one’s mother in her grave: Death.
• A traveller dreaming that he is making love to his mother: Will return to her from his journey.
• A poor man or a person whose mother is wealthy dreaming that he is having sex with her: (1) Will obtain all that he wishes from her. (2) She will die and he will inherit from her.
• A sick man dreaming of having sex with his mother: Will recover.
• Making love to one’s living mother: (1) Will be inimical to the father. (2) If the father is ill: The father will die and the son will look after his mother as a son and a husband. (3) If the son is hostile to his mother: She will show him love and affection. (4) The dreamer is good-natured, for nature is the mother of mankind. (5) If the son is involved in a feud over some property or a piece of land and is trying to purchase it: He will win. The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Drinking A Bowl Of Milk Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: I heard Prophet Muhammad saying, "While I was sleeping, I saw a bowl full of milk was brought to me and I drank of it (to my fill) till I noticed its wetness flowing (in my body). Then I gave the remaining of it to 'Umar." They asked, "O Prophet Muhammad! What have you interpreted (about the dream)? He said, "(It is Religious) knowledge." Breast • A young woman dreaming of having milk in her breast: Will conceive and deliver.
• An old woman dreaming of having milk in her breast: Will lose her money and become poor.
• The breast having lengthened till touching the belly: (1) If the dreamer is a little boy, he will die. (2) If the dreamer is a man, he is indulging in frivolous matters that arouse the wrath of God. (3) If the dreamer is a childless man, he will become poor and desolate. (4) If the dreamer is a woman, it means extreme sorrow because, says Ibn Siren, in their sorrow Arab women pull and scratch their breasts.
• Sucking a woman’s breast: Will get ill.
• The dreamer sucking the breast of his pregnant wife: She will give birth to a male child.

Leg • Dreaming that one’s leg has been removed: Wife will be ill.
• One’s leg having been amputated: The dreamer will lose one-half of his fortune or become crippled.
• Both legs being amputated: The dreamer will lose all his money and strength.
• Having many legs: (1) If planning a trip, will have a comfortable and fruitful one. (2) If poor, will strike it rich. (3) If rich, will be ill.

Times in which Dreams are Most Potent It must be borne in mind that the most authentic dreams are the ones observed in the latter part of the night and during Qayloolah (sleeping at midday ) and during the day. Dreams during the fruit-ripening season and fruit-selling season are also very potent. Blind • Being blind, then healed by a person: That person will lead the dreamer to the right path, help him repent, and serve his interests.
• A decent person dreaming of being blind in one eye: He is a true believer, and his testimony is genuine.
• A debauchee dreaming of being blind in one eye: (1) Will become half-religious. (2) Disease and worries will bring him near death. (3) Will be injured in the body, perhaps more particularly in one hand. (4) Harm will befall the dreamer’s children, wife, brother, or partner. (5) No more livelihood or gifts from God. Jinn - Or Djinn • Having a child by the jinn: (1) Benefits from a mean person. (2) Money from an atheist or a hoarder.
• A king dreaming of catching and shackling a jan: Will seize a country and take captive its atheist inhabitants.
• A pious person dreaming of catching and fettering a jinn: Will be immune from Satan through his fasting and by controlling his passions.

Falcon • A king dreaming of looking after a falcon: Will have an army of Arabs known for their stoicism and courage.
• A king dreaming of a falcon taking off from his hand and leaving a thread or a feather: The king will be overthrown, but will keep some wealth.
• Seeing a falcon in one’s house: Will subdue a thief.
• Catching a falcon or placing it on one’s hand: Will catch a thief and recover lost property.

Circumcision • Dreaming of being circumcised (according to the Hadeeth or Tradition of the Holy Prophet): The dreamer has done something good, as a result of which God has forgiven his sins and will relieve him from worries.
• Being circumcised and seeing blood flowing profusely: Sins have been washed out, and the dreamer is eager to follow in the footsteps of the Prophet.

Spindle If a woman sees a spindle in her dream, it means that she will beget a daughter or have a new sister. If a thread line of a spindle breaks in a dream, it means that a traveller will be delayed. Spinning a wire with a spindle in a dream means using the help of a stranger. Ring • The ring’s stone falling: (1) Death of a son. (2) Partial losses.
• The ring falling apart and disappearing and only the stone remaining: A reference to the dreamer’s name, reputation, and beauty.
• A woman dreaming that her ring has been taken away by force: (1) Death of her husband. (2) Death of her next-of-kin.

Sermon • A person who is not a born orator dreaming of delivering a speech or a sermon during the pilgrimage season: His homonym or opposite number will do so. People will praise the dreamer for his righteousness.
• Dreaming of having successfully completed a sermon and prayer service and that people are pleased with what they have heard: The dreamer will become an obeyed ruler. Falcon The falcon symbolizes a king. It also refers to a thief that nobody can stop and who surmounts all barriers.
• A slaughtered falcon: Death of a king.
• Eating falcon meat: Money from the king or any supreme authority.
• A person eligible to become a ruler dreaming of a falcon standing obediently on his hand: Will become an unjust ruler.

Impurity • Dreaming of emerging from sexual intercourse without washing: (1) Will have a boy. (2) Will earn money.
• Being soiled by an impure act: (1) Will err or be in a quandary. (2) Will travel to no avail. In case the subject has dreamed that he had washed perfectly well after such an act, the reverse would happen.
• Being soiled by any animal: Money and blessings.
