Spool In a dream, a spool means keeping one's secrets, or it could represent a gracious man, or a trustworthy person who lends his help to others and benefits them in their worldly affairs. If one sees himself carrying a spool while taking his ritual ablution in a dream, it means that he will seek the help of a righteous believer who holds fast to the rope of Allah Almighty. Resuscitate (Live Again) • Resuscitation of a brother: The dreamer’s weakness will turn into strength in view of the following verses: “ (My Lord), appoint for me a henchman from my folk, Harun [Aaron], my brother. Confirm my strength with him.” (“Ta-Ha”, verses 29–31.)
• Resuscitation of a sister: An absent one will return from abroad, bringing joy, owing to the Quranic verse that reads: “And she said unto his sister: Trace him. So she sighted him from afar, whereas they perceived not” (“Al-Qasas” [The Requital, verse 11) .

Headgear (Tiara; Turban) A headgear in a dream means a presidency, travels, or marriage. If one receives a headgear, or a tiara in a dream, it means that he may undertake a distant trip. If one wears a headgear in his dream, it means that he may hold a seat in the government. If one is accustomed to wearing a headgear then wearing it in a dream represents his superior, the governor, his brother, his father, his uncle, his teacher, or a scholar, for they all have equal right upon him. Beard If a misguided person sees himself having a beard in his dream, it means that he will receive guidance. If a woman grows a beard in her dream, it means that she is trying to be a man, or it could mean insolence or engaging in wrongdoing. If a child sees himself having a beard in a dream, it means longevity. Loving a beard and kissing it in a dream means lacking determination or will, regardless if it is his own beard or if it is someone else's beard. If a straw or anything sticks to one's beard in a dream, it means hearing bad words. Shaving half of one's beard in a dream means losing one's source of income or loss of one's dignity. Sword If one is given a sheath without a sword in a dream, it means that he will keep something in trust. If the handle of one's sword breaks in the dream, it means that either one's father, uncle, aunt, or mother may die shortly. If the blade breaks in the dream, it means that one's servant, or assistant-worker may die shortly. If one sees swords flying in the air in a dream, they represent a plague. A sword in a dream also could represent one's anger, or his tight financial circumstances. Swallowing a sword in a dream means gathering the spoils of war. Wudhu and Ghusl with Milk, Wine, Oil etc If a person sees himself performing wudhu or ghusl with milk, wine, oil or any such liquid or fluid with which wudhu and ghusl are not valid, it means his worldly and religious pursuits will not be fulfilled. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Call For Prayer (Arabic: Athan) • Calling for prayer from a minaret: The dreamer is advocating right and justice and would, hopefully, go to Mecca (Makkah).
• Calling for prayer from a well: The dreamer is prompting people to embark on a long trip.
• A nonprofessional muaththen (the one who launches the prayer call) dreaming that he is doing so: Will have a post as high as his voice was loud and pleasant, in case he is eligible.
• Calling for prayer from a hilltop: (1) Will be entrusted with a glorious responsibility by a foreigner, if eligible. (2) Will make a successful business deal or learn a valuable craft.
• Extending or shortening the prayer call or altering its rituals: Will commit an injustice.

Half a bushel (arb. Mudd. Unit of dry measure equal to 2 pecks, or 16 quarts.) A container measuring half a bushel in a dream means sanctity, chastity, cleanliness and purity. This interpretation comes from understanding the practice of Allah's Prophet (Alayhi-Salam) of regularly taking his ritual ablution from such a measuring container. Dates Dates symbolize the reading of the Holy Quran, good religious faith, rain, general and honest welfare, and savings.
• Eating high-quality dates: Will hear something good and useful.
• Buying dates: Will save money or receive money from some safe or treasury.
• Opening a date and removing its pit: Will have a child, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Lo! Allah (it is) Who splitteth the grain of corn and the date-stone (for sprouting). He bringeth forth the living from the dead, and is The bringer-forth of the dead from the living. Such is Allah. How then are ye perverted?” (“Al-Anam” [Cattle], verse 95.)

Manumission (Abraham; Ismail; Immolation; Liberation) Manumission of a slave in a dream represents a ritual sacrifice, or the offering of an animal during the Feats of Immolation, on the 10th day of the Arabic month of Zul-Hijjah, and following the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. If one gives permission to his wife to leave him in a dream, it means that they will be divorced. If a bondman sees himself liberated in a dream, it means that he or his master may die shortly. Dig • Going to a grave and digging the earth with one’s nails or trying to unearth the dead: Will probe the life of the dead dwelling in that grave to follow his pattern.
• Trying to unearth one’s body: The dreamer is a materialist, running after worldly matters, and will succeed only if he managed to disinter the corpse.
• An animal digging the earth or soil in one’s yard with its pawns or hooves: Beware of an enemy.
• Digging with one’s nails in an inappropriate place: The dreamer is after something very difficult.
• Digging a grave or a pit for oneself or somebody else: (1) Will build a house. (2) Will settle in that area.
• Digging a grave on a surface: Will live long.

Cummerbund (Belt; Cincture; Sash; Waistband) In a dream, the broad band worn around the waist, also known as a sash or a cummerbund represents one's father, mother or paternal uncle. Tying a cummerbund around one's waist in a dream means that one has exhausted half of his life. Owning many cummerbunds in a dream means longevity. A cummerbund in a dream also represents one's son or it could denote a big man. If a ruler offers a cummerbund to someone in a dream, it means that he is appointing him to a high ranking position. Impurity Being in a state of ritual impurity in a dream also could mean confusion. If one sees himself in such a state and finds no water to perform his ablution in the dream, it means adversities and inability to sustain one's needs in this world, or to satisfy one's aspirations in the hereafter. Fasting • Fasting not for the sake of Allah, but out of hypocrisy, to gain a good reputation: The dreamer will not find what he is seeking.
• Someone used to fasting dreaming that he has failed to fulfil that religious duty: (1) Will backbite. (2) Will become very ill.

Menstrual period (Discharge; Menstruation; The Curse of Eve) Experiencing one's menstrual period in a dream means that one has committed a wrongdoing, or it could mean confusion. If a woman sees herself taking a ritual ablution thereafter in the dream, it means that she will repent for his sin and her adversities will be dispelled. Carnelian-red (arb. Aqiq. A variety of chalcedony; Crystalline mineral; Gem; Jewelry; Precious stone; Stone) Seeing a Carnelian-red stone in a dream means dispelling poverty. At the beginning of the creation, of all stones, the Carnelian-red was the first stone that testified to Allah's Oneness.
