Ants (Army) In a dream, ants represent weak and covetous people, an army, a family, or longevity. Seeing a colony of ants entering a city in a dream means that an army will occupy that city. A colony of ants in a dream also represents a heavy populated area. Seeing ants over one's bed in a dream means having many children. If ants leave one's house in a dream, it means that someone in the family will leave that house. Tooth • The teeth getting longer and bigger: A dispute or rivalry in the dreamer’s house between members of his family.
• Someone whose teeth are black, eroded, and twisted dreaming that they have fallen: Will overcome all kinds of hardships.
• Dreaming of brushing or cleaning one’s teeth with a piece of wood (Arabic: miswak) as the Holy Prophet used to do: The dreamer is supporting his parents and good to his relatives.
• Brushing one’s teeth with something unclean: The dreamer is spending dirty money beyond his will.

Fireplace (Hearth; Stove) An iron cast stove or a fireplace in a dream represents a woman who comes from a powerful and a strong family. If the stove or the fireplace is made from yellow copper or brass in the dream, then such a woman may have come from a house of a worldly and rich people. A wooden fireplace in a dream represents hypocrisy in such a family. If the fireplace is made of plaster in the dream, it means that such a family has associated itself with Pharaonic traditions or worship. Collapsing walls If one sees the walls of his house collapsing as a result of a flood in a dream, it means the death of his wife. If one sees his house caving in on him and causing a big cloud of dust in a dream, it means that he maybe afflicted with measles. A collapsed ceiling in a dream means devastation. If one sees a destroyed house standing erect anew in a dream, it means spiritual awakening of its owner. If one is awaiting the return of a member of his family, or if he is awaiting a guest to arrive, and if a part of his house caves in, it means the near arrival of such a traveller. Zebra • Introducing a zebra in your house: A vain and irreligious person will mix with your family.
• Bringing a zebra to your house as prey to eat: Welfare and booty.

Grape Black grapes during the right season symbolize fear and disease; otherwise they mean trouble and worries. They are also a harbinger of cold weather. Grapes were believed by the ancient Arabs to be harmful. They also thought that no benefit could be derived from the black color and hated black grapes in any case. Among other things, they argued that the grape was originally white, placed near the son of Nuh (Noah). When his father cursed him, it suddenly turned black. Certain dream interpreters felt that the black grape meant nothing but money that will not last. Separate from the bunch, it symbolized extreme fear or chills. Others regarded the black grape as a not so bad dream, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And of the fruits of the date-palm, and grapes, whence ye derive strong drink and (also) good nourishment. Lo! therein, is indeed a portent for people who have sense.” (“Al-Nahl” [The Bees], verse 67.) Skin • Dreaming that a host of black women are coming to you: You will have plenty of welfare, but from the enemy side.
• Dreaming that your face is black and that you are wearing white clothes: You will have a female child in view of the Quranic verse that reads as follows: “When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly.” (“Al-Nahl” [The Bees], verse 58.)
• Your face being black and your clothes dirty: You are lying to God.
• Your face turning black and dusty: You will die.

Vegetable • Collecting a bunch of legumes from one’s garden or backyard: Evil and rupture on the part of a group of female relatives.

Mouse (Rodent; Thief; Woman) A mouse in a dream represents a dissolute and a sinful woman, a thief, or someone who feels flattered at exposing people's private life. To see a large family of mice in one's house in a dream means money and prosperity. If one sees a mouse playing inside his house where there is plenty of food in a dream, it means relief and money. If a mouse leaves one's house in a dream, it means that blessings will depart from that house and its earnings will diminish. Owning a pet mouse in a dream means having a servant or a housekeeper. Ants They also represent the person seeing the dream or members of his family or relatives. Understanding the language of ants in a dream means sovereignty, leadership and prosperity. If one sees ants entering his house and carrying food in a dream, it means prosperity in that family. If one sees ants leaving his house and carrying food with them in a dream, it means poverty. Seeing ants coming out of one's nostrils, ears, mouth or any part of his body and rejoicing at that sight in the dream means martyrdom. However, if one seems unhappy to see that in his dream, it means dying in sin. Flying ants in a dream also represent a robbery. Killing ants in a dream means cruelty against weak people. Robbery (Burglary; Garding; Possessing) In a dream, a robbery means adultery or usury. If the thief is unknown in the dream, then he represents the Angel of Death. If the thief is known to the owner of the house, it means that he will benefit from his knowledge, his trade, a good word of wisdom, or from someone's advice. If an unknown thief enters one's house and steals his washing basin, or his blanket, or a feminine item, or a similar house item in a dream, it may mean the death of one's wife, or of a woman in his immediate family. Mouse Mice in a dream also represent the members of one's household. Killing or catching a mouse in a dream means taking advantage of a woman. Throwing a stone or shooting an arrow at a mouse in a dream means backbiting or slandering a contemptible woman, or corresponding with her eliciting the unlawful. Seeing a family of mice inside a well or near a slanting land in a dream means nearing the end of one's life. Seeing a large family of mice inside one's house in a dream also could represent a gathering of women, or holding a party in one's house. A mouse inside one's shirt in a dream represents a woman friend out of whom no good can come. The skin of a mouse in a dream means little money which is taken from a vile woman. Beard • Having a white, shining beard: Will have power and prestige and be well noted in the country, as, according to Ibn Siren, Abraham’s beard was white.
• The beard becoming hoary or gray: Prestige and respectability.
• The beard graying and then turning completely white: Will become poor and unheeded. A black-bearded young man told Ibn Siren he dreamed that his beard had turned completely white and that he was trying to dye it, to no avail, as the dye wouldn’t hold. The interpreter replied that his fortune was declining and that he was trying to conceal this fact, in vain, which he admitted.
• Having a jet-black or pitch-black beard: Will grow prosperous and self-sufficient, especially if the black was greenish, in which case it would mean tremendous wealth and authority coupled with tyranny, as that was said to be the color of the hair of Moses pharaoh. Bat (zool.) By Allah's leave, a bat was one of the many signs of Allah's prophet Jesus son of Marry, upon both of them be peace. In a dream, a bat may represent a monk. It also means glad tidings for a pregnant woman. Seeing a bat in a dream is not considered as a good omen for a traveller. Grave • Seeing a person’s grave being turned into a house, a shop, or a village: The family of the defunct will build a house there.
• Dreaming of entering a grave without being carried on a bier: Will buy an empty house.
• Standing by a grave: Will commit a sin, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that reads: “And never (O Muhammad) pray for one of them who dieth, nor stand by his grave. Lo! they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and they died while they were evildoers.” (“Al-Taubah” [Repentance], verse 84.)
• Standing by one’s grave and looking at it: Will repent and sins will be forgiven.

Colors (Black; Blond; Bluish-black; Green; Maroon; Purple; Red; Reddish-brown; White; Yellow) The color black in a dream means prosperity, happiness or sickness. The color blond in a dream means war, sickness, piety, honor or a religious person. In a dream, the color blond also means contemptibleness, vileness, meanness or depravity. Black colored eyes in a dream represent a religious person. A bluish -black colored eyes in a dream connote opposing one's religion. Blue eyes in a dream entail religious innovations. Cemetery • Seeing a cemetery: (1) Fear for a person who feels safe and vice versa. (2) Prayers and aspirations. (3) Repentance. (4) A reference to the Hereafter, as a cemetery is the gateway to it; to the asylum; to asceticism; to weeping; to preaching; to death, since a cemetery is the house of death; and to atheist and heretic places or the dwelling of aliens in a Muslim country, since a cemetery houses the dead and death, according to the rules of interpretation, means religious corruption. Likewise, a cemetery could refer to those who indulge in luxury; brothels; bars where drunkards lie like the dead; the homes of those who fail to pray and remember God or do any good; and prison, for the dead is locked in his grave like the prisoner in his cell. Thief (Assassin; Illness; Robber) In a dream, a thief represents an illness, deficiency in one's character, or a physical ailment. If the thief is a black man, it means that the illness relates to one's black bile. If the color of his skin is red, then it relates to one's blood. If the color of his skin is yellow, then it relates to his galls. If the color of his skin is white, then it relates to his chest and phlegm. Whatever a thief takes in the dream should be interpreted in relation to the substance of what he took. If he takes nothing from one's house, then it denotes a passing ailment.
