Ring If the ring in one's dream is interpreted to mean money or clothing, then it represents one's status and high esteem his field. Receiving a ring as a gift in a dream also means happy news, or a marriage to a beautiful woman. Seeing an atheist who publicly brags about his actions and thoughts wearing a ring and turning its stone toward the palm of his hand in a dream, it means that he engages in sodomy. If a believer turns his ring inside during prayers in a dream, then it represents his modesty. Wearing a ring that carries two gemstones, one to the outside and the other to the inside in a dream means that one may chair two important appointments, material and a spiritual ones, or inner and outer ones. Dye • A woman dreaming that her hands are tattooed: She will use her makeup to achieve what is right. If the tattoo was made of mud, it means that she uses her rosary quite often. The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Seeing People Barely Covered Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif narrated from some of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) that the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said: "While I was sleeping I saw people presented before me, and that they were wearing shirts. Some of them (the shirts) reaching their breasts, and some of them reaching below that." He said: "Then 'Umar was presented before me and he was wearing a shirt that was dragging." They said: "How did you interpret that O Prophet Muhammad?" He said: "The religion." Bracelet (Band; Bangle) In a dream, bracelets represent pride or women's ornaments, and for men they represent the support of one's brother. If the bracelet is made of gold in the dream, then it represents chastisement. If it fits tight in the dream, it means difficulties. If each wrist carries a silver bracelet or a bangle in a dream, it means disappointment or losses caused by one's friends. If a man sees himself wearing a bracelet in a dream, it means tight financial circumstances. Shoe The shoe, sandal, sole, et cetera, symbolizes: (1) A wife or a pious woman. (2) A boy. (3) A friend. (4) A partner. (5) An animal. (6) A journey. (7) A brother. • Buying a pair of shoes without using them: Will buy a slave girl or marry a free woman whose color or character will be as reflected by the color of the shoes. (1) Green shoes: The woman will be religious and virtuous. (2) Black shoes: She will be rich. (3) Yellow shoes: She will be ill. Apparel (Adornment; Attire; Costume; Garb; Veil) In a dream, one's apparel vary in meaning depending on their contents, colors or type, etcetera. Wearing one's garb in the winter in a dream is better than wearing it in the summer. Wrapping oneself with a cloth in a dream means becoming poor. An attire in a dream represents a man and a leader. An attire for a scholar, or a merchant, or a leader in a dream represents his trade through which one earns his livelihood and which protects him from adversities. If one's apparel is dirty in the dream, then it reflects his life and appearance. Cloak In a dream, a cloak represents marriage or a child bearing wife. If the outside of it is made of cotton, it represents one's good spiritual standing. A cloak in the dream usually represents longevity, prosperity for the one wearing it and protection against a cold winter, that is poverty or the heat of summer, or heaviness in one's life caused by his wife, his spiritual life, his religious attendance, or it could mean a sickness, imprisonment, distress caused by a woman or the stress of war . Glass bottle A glass bottle in a dream represents a servant, a housekeeper, a son or a woman. A glass bottle in a dream also represents a woman who does not keep a secret, a slanderous companion, sickness, an adulteress or a prostitute. If one grooms his hair with oil from such a bottle in a dream, it means adorning himself or being proud about his love for such a woman. If their dresses are tattered, it means poverty and worries; dirty dresses symbolize the accumulation of sins. • Making love to one’s resuscitated wife and getting wet with her water (semen): (1) Pending matters will be settled favourably, and money will be spent willingly in the right way. Belt (Cincture; Cummerbund; Fastening; Sash; Waist belt) In a dream, a belt depicts the carrier of burdens. It also implies travels, money, savings or stinginess. It also could mean serious endeavors and assiduity in seeking knowledge. A belt or a waistband in a dream could represent one's wife or his property. If a woman sees herself wearing a waistband, then it represents her brother, brother in-law, or father in-law. If she is pregnant, it means that she will beget a daughter. If a man sees himself wearing a waistband in a dream, it represents a woman in his family to whom it is unlawful for him to marry. A broken belt in a dream means a fight with one's wife. Necklace As for a pregnant woman, wearing a necklace in a dream means giving birth to a son. A broken necklace in a dream means the impeachment of the governor of one's town. As for a woman, a red necklace in a dream represents a mask. A necklace for an unmarried woman in a dream represents a husband. Wearing a heavy necklace in a dream means carrying heavy burdens, or it could mean failure to perform one's duties at work. Any defects or perfection a necklace shows when worn by a woman in a dream represent the condition or the state of her husband or guardian, or it could mean a trust she carries. Face Frowning in someone's face in a dream also means suffering at his hand. If a woman sees her face blackened with soot in a dream, it means the death of her husband. If she sees herself putting makeup and anointing herself with perfume in a dream, it means good news for her and for her husband. A smiling and a cheerful face in a dream connotes happiness and righteousness whether the person is alive or dead. The beauty of a woman's face or that of a child in a dream means blessings. Skin Being skinned in a dream also represents a robbery in one's house, or it may represent a tyrant, or an unjust ruler. If he is healthy, it means that he will become poor and his ill qualities will be exposed. Fat which is collected under the skin represents the strength of one's faith and religious adherence. If one sees himself wearing the skin of a snake in a dream, it means that he will unmask his animosity toward others. In general, wearing animals skin in a dream means receiving an inheritance. If one sees himself having a fat tail like that of a sheep in a dream, it means that his livelihood will depend on the revenues of his offspring. If he sees his body grown, it means that he will prosper accordingly. Being fat in a dream means prosperity and knowledge, and being emaciated means poverty and ignorance. Blushing If one sees his face glowing with red or blushing in a dream, it means dignity, nobility and it could represent a person who is known for his good deeds. If the blushing of one's face is mixed with some white lines in the dream, it means strength and happiness. If one sees his face embellished with red cosmetic makeup in a dream, it means that he will commit adultery, and that he will be exposed thereafter. If one sees his entire body turning red in a dream, it means long sufferings and lack of success in his life. Threshold In a dream, a threshold represents one's gown, garment, one's adornment, makeup, money, or it may denote closing a subject, spreading it, or it could represent a beautiful woman who embodies all the attributes man desires, including beauty, good character, intelligence, wealth and fertility. Buying a new threshold or sitting on one in a dream means that either the husband or the wife may suffer a bodily injury. If one sees himself sitting under the threshold of his door in a dream, it represents an adversity or an illness. Ring • Taking a gold ring from the Lord: Bad omen. Similarly bad are rings made of iron, the latter being the ornament of those who reside in Hell, and rings made of copper whose name in Arabic is nahhas, from nahs, meaning “bad luck” or “a jinx.” One more reason, adds Ibn Siren, is that copper is the metal used in manufacturing the rings of the jinn. • Taking a silver ring from the Holy Prophet or from a religious scholar: The dreamer will acquire learning. In case the ring was made of silver, iron, or copper, the dream would have a very negative interpretation. • Wearing a ring: Renewal of what the ring refers to, depending on its alloy or composition. • Wearing a silver ring: Nothing will stand in the dreamer’s way. Henna If one's hands are tattooed with henna in a dream, it means that he cheats to acquire his earnings. Eventually, he will be exposed and his opponents will rejoice at his misfortune. If a woman sees her entire body dyed with henna in a dream, it means having a good relationship with her husband. If after applying the henna to her hands, the dye does not work in a dream, it means that her husband does not show his love for her. If only the fingers are dyed with henna in a dream, they then represent branches of dates, or clusters of grapes. In general, dyeing one's hands and hair with henna as a makeup in a dream represents joy for the husband and wife as long as they do not exceed the common norms. Green (Fertile; Good harvest; Longevity; Paradise; Youth) Wearing a green garment in a dream is a sign of piety, religious attendance, assiduity and devotion. Green silky garments are the robes of the dwellers of paradise. Seeing a departed person wearing a green raiment in a dream means that he or she are living in a good state and reaping the benefits of their deeds in the world. It could also mean inheriting the deceased person. As for the deceased person himself, it could also mean that he has left this world in a state of martyrdom. Owning extensive yardage of silk brocade in a dream means piety, presiding over people, a marriage to a beautiful and a noble woman who is worthy of respect. Buying folded yardage of silk fabric in a dream means getting a housemaid. Wearing a silk brocaded garment in a dream means taking a beautiful and a virgin servant for a wife.
