Bathroom According to Imam Jaafar Al-Sadeq (see biography at the beginning of this book), the bathroom could symbolize seven things: (1) The patriarch of the family. (2) A valuable woman. (3) Troubles and unhappiness. (4) A debt. (5) Delay or obstacles. (6) Confirmation or a seal. (7) A loan. For other interpreters, including Ibn Siren and Al-Kirmani:

Prison • Choosing one’s jail: God will save the dreamer from the malice of a woman who is tempting him to falter in view of the Quranic verse: “He said: Oh my Lord! Prison is more dear than that unto which they urge me, and if Thou fend not off their wiles from me I shall incline unto them and become of the foolish.” (“Yusuf” [Joseph], verse 33.)

Climbing a Mountain If a person sees himself climbing a mountain it means he will attain high positions. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
A Woman with a Beard This may be a reference to her husband who will enjoy a good reputation as a result of his high standing in the community. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Thyme Wild thyme means lasting joy brought by a woman, a child, a high post, or a trade. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Ladder or Stairs Climbing a ladder or stairs symbolises the religion of Islam by virtue of which he will acquire high stations in the Hereafter. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Grudge (Rancor; Hatred) In a dream, to see oneself having a grudge, of suffering from one means earning a high rank or becoming a governor. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Seeing a Female Mule the mre seeing of a female mule in one's dream represents a perbond honour, status, respectability and high standing in the community. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Troubled waters Swimming in troubled waters or in high tides in a dream means adversities, or having to face a strong opponent. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Shark (Fish) A shark in a dream represents high spirit, or it could mean belonging to the upper class or to a noble lineage. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Hermitage Occupying a hermitage or building one in a dream means rising in station. A beautiful and a newly built hermitage in the dream represents a wife. A hermitage in a dream also could mean migration, bewilderment, severing a friendship, hiding, power, or it could represent one's son. Tides (Ocean) In a dream, swimming in troubled waters or high tides means adversities, or having to face a strong opponent. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Defeat • Atheists being defeated: It will be so in reality.
• True believers being defeated: Will win the war or the battle.
• Seeing just soldiers entering a city after being defeated: Those soldiers will triumph. For unjust soldiers the same dream would mean the reverse. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Mosque The mosque symbolizes the scholar, the master around whom disciples gather to attain perfection, do good to others, and recall and mention God.
• A mosque having been demolished: A religious person will die in that area.
• Building a mosque: (1) The dreamer is good to his parents, other family members, and relatives and invites people to come together to do good things. (2) The dreamer will overpower enemies. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Hearing board (Cabinet; Council; Court; Inquisitional court) If one's name is presented before a hearing board for review, and if he is nominated to fill a seat in any governmental department in a dream, it means that he may satisfy the requirements of such a position. Dome (Cupolead structure; Qubba; Shrine) Building a dome in a dream means marriage. Demolishing a dome means death or a divorce. Imam (arb. The person who leads prayers in a mosque; Guide; Leader; Ruler) If one sees himself building a prison in a dream, it means that he will meet a righteous man or an Imam who will guide him on the straight path. Incident - a Bowl full of Ants He related to him the advice of the Imaam. She asked him what he planned to do. He said he planned to sell. Him. She said: “In the at case you may as well divorce me.” It is said that he sold the salve to a teacher of his. When the wife learned of this she absconded in pursuit of the slave. The husband, on learning his immediately set off to look for her. He found her in the city of Harraan where she had repurchased the slave from his new master and married him. Tower • Standing on a tower or being in a tower: Bad dream in any case, most probably meaning death, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Wheresoever ye may be, death will overtake you, even though ye were in lofty towers …” (“Al-Nisae” [Women], verse 78.)
• Standing against the wall of a tower: Will triumph and fulfil one’s objectives.
