Carpet (Straw mat) Owning a carpet or a straw mat on which one sits in the wintertime in a dream means comfort, promotion, high ranking status and exaltation. A carpet in a dream also represents the master of the house. All types of carpets or mats are included in this category. If one sees himself sitting on a carpet in a dream, it means that he will purchase a property or a farm. In a time of war, sitting on a carpet in a dream means safety from danger. If one sees himself gazing at a carpet in the dream, and if he sees in it the image reflection of a person he recognizes, it means that the figure drawn on the carpet is a person who has gone astray. Hall (Auditorium; Large hall) A large hall in a dream means comfort, overcoming financial difficulties, a helping wife, a good mistress of the house, a high ranking position that involves little danger, a highway sign, a praiseworthy son, a hard working employee, or a good investment. Night (Darkness; Heedlessness; Ignorance) In a dream, a moonless night represents lack of work, stagnation, or losing one's job. If one sees the whole world in the dark and the moon is still radiant in the skies in a dream, it means that the governor will temporarily relinquish his entire duties to his chief minister or secretary, and that thieves and robbers will cluster around them for business. If one then sees the daylight in his dream, it means that such an adversity will pass. If people are under siege in the dream and the daylight dawns after a long dark night in a dream, it means that their siege will be lifted. Bed (Couch; Mattress; Sleeping pad) Abed without covers in a dream represents travels, a wife, honor or a high rank. Sitting on abed in a dream means regaining power or authority over something one had lost control. If the bed has it covers on, then it means ruling over a group of hypocrites who live in heedlessness. If it is not covered, then it means a journey. If one sees himself wearing his shoes and sitting on his bed in a dream, it means that he will undertake a trip in the company of an ostentatious person. Cemetery • Seeing a cemetery: (1) Fear for a person who feels safe and vice versa. (2) Prayers and aspirations. (3) Repentance. (4) A reference to the Hereafter, as a cemetery is the gateway to it; to the asylum; to asceticism; to weeping; to preaching; to death, since a cemetery is the house of death; and to atheist and heretic places or the dwelling of aliens in a Muslim country, since a cemetery houses the dead and death, according to the rules of interpretation, means religious corruption. Likewise, a cemetery could refer to those who indulge in luxury; brothels; bars where drunkards lie like the dead; the homes of those who fail to pray and remember God or do any good; and prison, for the dead is locked in his grave like the prisoner in his cell. Tree • A healthy person sitting on top of or owning a tree: Will get or fail to get what he wants (be it sex, marriage, or anything else), depending on the condition of the tree.
• Owning plenty of trees: Will become a leader or a judge of men.
• Plenty of trees in a house: Men and/or women will assemble there for something good or bad: (1) If the trees bear good and tasty fruits alluding to welfare and prosperity and people are eating from them: A banquet will be given there. (2) If the fruits are bad or allude to unhappiness: The assembly will be for a funeral rite. (3) If there is a sick person in the house and the fruits seen in the dream were unknown: The fate of the patient will depend on the season and the condition of the trees. Divine Throne If one sees the Divine Throne, and if he sees Allah Almighty sitting on it in a dream, it denotes his faith, certitude, determination and correct religious adherence. If one sees himself sitting upon the Divine Throne and his Lord sitting under it in a dream, and if one qualifies for governing, then it means that he will oppress the religious scholars, show arrogance and spread evil on earth. If one does not qualify for governing, then it means that he will become a disobedient son to his parents, oppose his teacher, rebel against his superior, issue a verdict without knowledge, commit aggression against others, or if he is a judge, he will be an unjust one. Cow If a dairy cow allows the person to draw her milk in a dream, it means conferring benefits. Otherwise, if it refuses to allow the person to milk her in the dream, it means dissonance and discord. If a servant sees himself milking his master's cow in a dream, it means that he will marry his wife after the master dies, and that he will become extremely rich. If a cow enters one's house and thrusts against him, or butts against him in the dream, it means losses and mistrust in one's own family. Invitation Consequently, he will be blamed for interfering or entering such a venture. If one sees himself hosting a dinner at his house, and the guests have finished eating in the dream, it means that he will preside over them. If a sick person sees such an invitation at his house in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Serving food to guests in a dream means the returning home of a dear person from a long journey. If one sees himself sitting at a table covered with all types of food and fruits in a dream, it means that he will be called upon to serve his Lord and to win paradise. Supplication If one sees a group of people gathering in a circle of prayers, or doing Zikr and invoking the divine attributes in a dream, then they represent a gathering of children, growth, blessings, or waiving away sufferings. If one sees himself praying to Allah Almighty, or that prayers are invoked on his behalf in a dream, it means happiness and money. Supplications in Allah's house or in a mosque in a dream are more beneficial than prayers which are offered anywhere else. If one prays in the dark in a dream, it means that he will be saved from trials. If one sees himself imploring another person in a dream, it means that he fears him. Chair (Seat) In a dream, a chair represents authority, rank or a woman. An iron cast chair in a dream represents power and superiority. If it is a wooden chair, then it means less than that beside added hypocrisy. Sitting on a chair in a dream means becoming a guardian, deputy, attorney or proxy. If one qualifies for governing or for managing a business, then sitting on a chair in a dream means receiving such an appointment. If a traveller sees himself sitting on a chair in a dream, it means that he will return to his homeland to be reunited with his family and to attain his goals. For people in authority, a chair in their dream represents an appointment, a promotion, fame, marriage, children or buying an expensive property, a new vehicle or a new garment. Lunar Eclipse A Lunar eclipse assuming a reddish or dark colour owing to clouds or dust suggests that the person towards whom the moon is linked will soon encounter problems and find himself in some predicament. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Flies It could also mean that someone in a high ranking position is influencing their moves or forcing them to do what he wants. If someone who intends a journey sees flies sitting on him in a dream, perhaps he should delay his travel plans for while. If one sees flies inside his mouth in a dream, it means that some thieves will take refuge or hide in his house. If a fly or a mosquito enters one's ear in a dream, it denotes blessing, status, authority or profits. Killing a fly in a dream means preserving one's health and fitness. If one sees a swarm of flies inside his house in a dream, it means that his enemies will cause him losses. Flies are a weak but a tough enemy. Horses Running through Cities If horse are seen running through cities or between houses it means floods, rains and disasters are imminent. But if such horses are seen with saddles it means the person seeing the dream will meet lots of people who will have gathered together for some happy or unhappy occasion. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Cow The same interpretation of horses colours should apply to cows, which, as mentioned, refer to women or years.
• Seeing in one’s house a cow sucking the milk of her own calf: A woman is trading in her own daughter.
• A man slave milking his master’s cow: Will marry the latter’s daughter.
• Being scratched by a cow or a bull: Will be ill inasmuch as the scratch was severe.
• A cow or a bull raping the dreamer: Will experience hardships and punishment and might even get killed.
• Falling on a cow’s back: Luck will change during the year.
• An ox falling on the dreamer: Will die during that year.
• Having a dispute with a cow: Controversy with a hot-tempered and impolite woman.
• Being bitten or kicked by a cow: Children will betray their father.

Peg (Pin; Pole; Stake; Tent peg) In a dream, a peg represents a high ranking person, a master, or a scholar. If a young man hits someone over his back with a wooden stick in a dream, it means that he will beget a son who will grow to be a hypocrite and an enemy to his father. Unplugging a peg or the pole of a tent in a dream means death. Driving a peg into the wall in a dream means liking to associate oneself with a great person. Driving a peg into a house in a dream means being in love with a woman from that family. Reunion (Reunification) To sit with one's beloved, enjoying love, affection and unity in a dream means marriage or prosperity. Sitting with one's beloveds and enjoying one's financial accomplishments in the dream means loss of rank and wealth. If a woman sees herself sitting with her beloved in a dream, it means that they will get married. A visit of one's beloved in a dream means valuing and cherishing one's happiness. Chair The chair symbolizes a pledge or a contract. It is a harbinger of safety.
• Seeing a chair: No more fear.
• A chair in a marketplace: (1) A small capital. (2) Some business. (3) Benefits. (4) A virtuous wife blessed with contentment.
• A chair in the house: (1) Joy and happiness. (2) A reference to a wife or a child.

Meadow The same interpretation is given if one sees himself walking between two different markets. If one sees a deceased person sitting in the meadows in a dream, it means that he is in paradise. Meadows in a dream also represent the world and its pleasures, or they could represent a rich wife. Seeing an unusual meadow which is admired only when beheld, and enjoyed especially when visited in a dream represents a revered place, a house of Allah, a mosque, the grave of a prophet, or the graves of the righteous ones.
