Lion • Riding on a lion’s back: Will ride on a high tide, either by travelling by sea in the inappropriate season when the sea is in fury or by succeeding or outsmarting the ruler. The dreamer might also be facing a situation wherein he stands helpless, hence the wishful dream.
• Riding on a subdued or perfectly obedient lion: Will have the upper hand in a feud with a tyrant.
• Riding on a lion but being afraid of it: Harm will befall the dreamer, or he will face some hard test.
• Fighting a lion: Will fight an enemy, a ruler, the authority, or whatever the lion stands for.
• Killing a lion: The end of all sorrows.

Scourge (Whip) In a dream, a scourge means fulfilling one's needs, attaining one's goal, or subjugating one's enemy to accept one's conditions. If one's scourge is cut in two pieces during a fight, or while lashing someone in a dream, it means loss of power. If the rope splits, it means weakening of one's authority. If one sees himself driving an animal with a whip in a dream, it means praying to Almighty Allah to ease his burdens and to facilitate his earnings. Camel • Riding a camel in the city center or failing to make it move: Worries, sorrow and such troubles as would cripple the dreamer and prevent him from rising or moving, like going to jail or falling ill.
• A revolutionary dreaming of riding a camel in the city center or failing to make it move: Will get caught and perish, especially if he was wearing a showy dress.
• A sick person dreaming that he will travel on a camel: Will die.

• Seeing an elephant anywhere other than in India: Hardships and terror.

Ride Riding over the shoulder of another man and forcing him to accept it in a dream represents one's funeral, and it means that the other person will have no choice but to carry the coffin. If the person carrying him in the dream is willingly doing so, then it means that he will care for his needs and bear his encumbrance. Racing Horse racing in a dream means indulging in what is forbidden, arrogance, self-deceit, or guaranteeing the success of what has no prospect of succeeding. • Riding an Arab camel: Will go to Mecca (Makkah) for the pilgrimage.

Mule In a dream, a mule represents an obstinate and a stupid person, an imbecile or a bastard. A mule in a dream represents an illegitimate child who is born from a foreign father in adultery. If one sees himself mounting a saddled mule which is travelling toward Mecca in a dream, it means that he will soon perform a pilgrimage. Wandering on a mule in a dream means benefits. Incest • A poor man dreaming that he has sex with his young adopted child: Will send the boy to a teacher to seek knowledge.
• A rich man dreaming that he has sex with his young adopted child: Will donate plenty of things to the boy and will write a testament bequeathing all that he owns to the child.

Clouds If one sees a cloud inside his house or descending upon him in his room in a dream, it means that he will join the company of believers or receives an award, or that he is endowed with wisdom, or should he wish for a child, his wife will conceive one. If he is a merchant, it means that his merchandise will arrive to its port of destination. If one sees himself riding over a cloud in a dream, it means exaltation or marriage to a pious woman, or that one will attend a pilgrimage should it be his wish. Otherwise, should he wish for it, he will become renowned for his knowledge and wisdom. Spear The spear symbolizes influence, an acquisition, a wrong move or a fault, a woman, a son, a brother, a friend ready to defend the dreamer, a truthful testimony, or a journey. A spear without iron represents a daughter who will have as many blessings as there are dents in it.
• A king or chief seeing his spear growing excessively: Will be unjust to his subjects.
• Fighting the enemies with a spear: Will make illicit gains.
• Being mounted on a horse or a camel and holding a spear: Dignity, influence, authority, and prosperity.

Shoulders (Friend; Responsibility; Support) Riding over the shoulders of one's enemy in a dream means committing a wrongdoing or a shameful act against someone. If there is no enmity between the two, and if one sees himself riding over the shoulders of his friend in a dream, it means that he will earn something from him. Carrying someone over one's shoulders in a dream means being indebted to him. Mule An obstinate mule in a dream represents a cunning person. Riding a mule in a dream also means having a dispute with someone. A weak mule who cannot be controlled in a dream represents a niggardly and a wicked person. Elephant • Seeing an elephant and failing to ride it: Prestige and fortune will decline. Conversely, riding it, especially by night, means that the dreamer, if eligible, will triumph over a huge but niggardly king (or chief). If the dreamer is not eligible, the same dream would indicate that the dreamer will enter a war but be defeated or get killed in it, in view of the following verses in the Holy Quran: “Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? Did He not bring their stratagem to naught.” (“Al-Fil” [The Elephant], verses 01–02.)
