Paradise If one sees that one of the gates of paradise is closed in the dream, it means that one of his parents will pass away. If two of its gates are closed in the dream, it means that he will lose his parents. If all of its doors are locked in the dream, it means that his parents are displeased with him. If he enters paradise from whichever gate he pleases in the dream, it means that both of his parents are pleased with him. If one is let into paradise in a dream, it represents his death. It is also interpreted to mean that he will repent for his sins at the hands of a spiritual guide or a wise sheikh who will lead him into paradise. Pearl Drilling a hole in a pearl in a dream also means having sexual intercourse with a blood relation. Swallowing a pearl in a dream means hiding a testimony. Chewing on pearls in a dream means backbiting people. Vomiting pearls in a dream means scheming against people and deceiving them. Throwing a pearl into a river in a dream means helping people. Extracting a pearl from its shell, then throwing the pearl and keeping the shell in a dream means that one is involved in body snatching and in desecrating the graves. • Eating high-quality dates: Will hear something good and useful.
• Buying dates: Will save money or receive money from some safe or treasury.
• Opening a date and removing its pit: Will have a child, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Lo! Allah (it is) Who splitteth the grain of corn and the date-stone (for sprouting). He bringeth forth the living from the dead, and is The bringer-forth of the dead from the living. Such is Allah. How then are ye perverted?” (“Al-Anam” [Cattle], verse 95.)

Death • Death of an animal: The interpreter should bear in mind what the animal symbolizes. For instance, a lion or an elephant would refer to the supreme authority in the country. The elephant represents a huge man, the cat and the mouse are thieves, and females are, indeed, women.
• Death of a ferocious animal with fangs and claws: Triumph over enemies and safety from harm.
• Death of a domestic beast: Bad omen, especially if it is the only beast that the dreamer possesses.
• Difficult passage from life to death: Severe chastisement in the Hereafter.
• Death of a child: Death of a woman and vice versa, because Muslim scholars used to find that women and children have this in common: lack of religious faith and reason.

Cymbals (Castanets) In a dream, cymbals represent worldly people, arrogance, conceit, bragging, adversities, bad marriage or loathsome sexual intercourse. Wending one's way (Direction) To wend one's way, or to take the road, or to go in the direction of the door in a dream means establishing the course of one's life on the basis of righteousness, or finding the real cause of things, or it could mean success, depending on how close one gets to his goal in the dream. Prostration Prostrating during a war in a dream means humiliation before one's enemy, a fight, business losses, or it could mean standing helpless before closed doors. Prostrating oneself before Allah Almighty on top of a mountain in a dream means vanquishing a strong enemy, while prostrating on top of a hill means submission to a strong man. Prostration in a dream also means faith in Allah Almighty, joining the company of Allah's messenger Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, in paradise, longevity and improving one's spiritual life. David If one becomes Allah's prophet David (Alayhi-Salam), or if he wears his robe in the dream it means that he will be appointed as a judge, if he qualifies. If he does not qualify, it means that he will prosper, or that he will grow in piety and become righteous through much devotion, piety, sadness and crying in fear of his Lord and love for Him. Seeing the prophet David (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also means deputyship, trials with women, trouble caused by women, or it could mean recitation of the Quran or being in a state of constant remembrance of Allah Almighty, prayers, supererogatory prayers at night, understanding the meaning of what one reads, repentance from sin, chanting songs of Allah's love, returning to Allah's path after heedlessness, manufacturing and processing minerals, or it could represent Allah's acceptance of one's repentance. Pine The pine tree is a loud and stingy man with bad character. He gives shelter to the thieves and the unjust, the same as the kites, owls, and crows seek asylum in the pine trees. Doorstep (Door lintel; Doorplate; Threshold) In a dream, the doorstep of one's house represents one's power, or it could mean marriage. If one sees himself removing the doorstep of his house in a dream, it means losing his power. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
House The house gate or door is the father of the family. The mortise and tenon symbolize the female and male sexual organs as they fit into each other. Locked together, they represent the husband embracing his wife. By extension, the mortise and tenon could also refer to the couple’s two children, a boy and a girl, to two brothers, or to two persons sharing the same house. Mouse The mouse symbolizes the dreamer’s household: those who dwell in his house—his wife and children, et cetera—a debauched woman, or, some say, a devilish Jewish woman or a Jew, as related by Al-Nabulsi. It could also refer to a thief. Many mice means profit and welfare. Mice of the same color allude to women. The rat is a digging thief.
• Dreaming of a mouse playing in one’s house: Prosperity will increase because, according to the ancient Arabs, mice invade only those places that are prosperous. And only people who are not hungry can afford to play.
• Seeing mice in one’s house: Dangerous women will enter that house.
• A mouse leaving one’s house: Livelihood and blessings will decrease.
• Owning a mouse: Will have a servant because, like servants, mice share the food of the master.

Chewing food If one sees himself exaggeratedly chewing his food in a dream, it means disdain and indifference about seeking an honest livelihood.
