Bird The unknown bird symbolizes the Archangel of Death; a traveller; labour; or a man’s actions or deeds. Big and ferocious or rapacious birds are the kings, chiefs, prominent people, scholars, and rich people or those who make a good living. Waterbirds represent the nobles who hold two posts at a time, since these birds do as they like in the water and in the air. They could also symbolize people who travel by land and by sea. Dreaming of them is better than dreaming of any other species, because they have an easier livelihood and are less rapacious. Singing birds or those that wail simply refer to singers. Mirror it symbolises a perbond wife. If a person sees himself as looking into a mirror, if his wife is expecting, she will give birth to a son who will resemble him. But if she is not nor does he have a son it means he will lose his job and someone else will take his position. But if she is not pregnant it means her husband will marry another woman who will occupy the same house. If a little boys sees himself looking into a mirror, a brother resembling him will be born. An Ass Seeing as ass in the dream is regarded as better than seeing a pack-horse. It symbolises a perbond good fortune and luck. Grill • Seeing an expert grilling veal: (1) Marriage of a bachelor. (2) Marriage ceremony. (3) New children.
• Seeing oneself grilling meat and selling it: Will collect money for the ruler through injustice and confiscation.
• Grilled meat: (1) A hint about what the future holds. (2) Coming relief. (3) Earnings and prosperity, even if it is poultry meat or sausages. (4) Triumph over enemies. (5) Will have more male children, especially if it was grilled veal. (6) A fat grilled mutton: Less money and earnings the hard way. (8) Eating grilled mutton: The dreamer will nibble at his son’s earnings. (9) Eating underdone meat: Trouble from the son’s side. (10) Grilling cow meat: (a) The end of fear. (b) If the wife is pregnant, she should expect a son. (11) Eating beef: Will meet the ruler. (12) Eating grilled veal: Earnings and fertility. Testicles (Male reproductive glands) In a dream, testicles represent the elements of husband and wife, one's two children, trade, business, doors, doormen, money pouch, or the female members of one's family, including sisters, daughters, mother or aunts. Ascent An ascent in a dream also could represent adversities, difficulties and dangers. Ascending a steep incline in a dream means danger and descending a steep hill means reaching safety. An ascent in a dream also could represent a bridge, an underpass, a wife, a woman, or a scorpion. Walking through a steep incline in a dream also means rising in station because of one's knowledge, politics, good conduct, fulfillment of one's duties, his caring for others or wisdom. Falling through a steep hill in a dream means falling in rank, losing one's prestige, losing one's money, denying the truth, objecting to one's religion or walking into darkness. Climbing in a dream always means attainment of one's goals. Climbing flat on one's back in a dream has negative connotations. Span (Hand; Measure) In a dream, a span denotes architecture, renewing one's wardrobe, or travel. A span in a dream also could represent a compass, or the male sexual organ. Parasites Any parasite whose life depends on the human body symbolises a perbond family. If a person sees stomach-worms and lice walking on his body in great numbers or he sees them walking on his clothes it suggests that he will acquire much wealth and many male children. Egg • Eating eggshells: The dreamer is a graverobber.
• Dreaming that wife has laid an egg: She will give birth to an atheist, in view of Quranic verses addressed to atheists and comprising examples of God’s might and miracles, such as: “… he bringeth forth the dead from the living” (“Al-Rum” [The Romans], verse 19.)
• Putting an egg under a hen that cracks to give way to chicks: A dead matter will be revived, and a pious son will be born to the dreamer or as many sons as there were chicks, in view of the Quranic expression in the same verse: “He bringeth forth the living from the dead….”
• Placing eggs under a cock, which is hatched to give chicks: A tutor will arrive for the young boys.

Pigeon (Dove; Ringdove; Turtledove) Seeing a pigeon in a dream means glad tidings. It is also said that Allah Almighty will accept the prayers of one who sees pigeons in his dream. In a dream, a pigeon also represents a trustworthy messenger, a truthful friend, a comforting beloved, a chaste wife, striving to sustain one's family, or a fertile woman with a large family. The cooing of pigeons in a dream means lamentation. Pigeons eggs in a dream represent one's daughters or female neighbors. A domesticated pigeon in a dream represents a beautiful woman from Arabia. Nose (Also see Snot and Suck.) The nose symbolizes a man’s beauty, relatives, a male child, the parents, and the person’s prestige. Anything good entering it is medicine; anything bad is wrath and anger.
• One’s nose looking like a hose: The dreamer belongs to a powerful family and has plenty of supporters.

House The house gate or door is the father of the family. The mortise and tenon symbolize the female and male sexual organs as they fit into each other. Locked together, they represent the husband embracing his wife. By extension, the mortise and tenon could also refer to the couple’s two children, a boy and a girl, to two brothers, or to two persons sharing the same house. Dress • Dreaming that unknown people have come to you and dressed you in pompous clothes without there being any feast or marriage, then left you alone in a house: You will die.
• The dead giving the dreamer two well-washed Arab male robes: Will become prosperous.

Kite • Owning a kite that hunts for the dreamer: Will have influence and money.
• Seizing a wild kite that neither hunts for nor obeys the dreamer, but holding it in the hand: Will have a male child who will become a king as soon as he reaches manhood.
