Lynx (Cheetah; Panther) Lynx, a cheetah, or a panther in a dream represent might, exaltation, cuddling and coquetry, along with anger, rage and enmity. Disease Disease always applies to weak or erroneous religious faith. It means that the dreamer is not discharging his religious duties regularly or trying to show his obedience to God. A disease coupled with fever—a warm or hot disease—means worries to be brought about by the ruler. A dry disease means that the dreamer is overspending in a way inconsistent with the injunctions of the Almighty or that he is contracting debts left and right, or misusing funds entrusted to him and that he will fail to restore—which will draw him a punishment. Smoke Smoke symbolizes sufferings and torture inflicted by God or a penalty imposed by the sultan or ruler.
• Smoke coming out of one’s shop: Welfare and fertility after an ordeal and a scandal caused by influential people.

Chicken (Bird; Fowl) A chicken in a dream represents the woman of the house, while the rooster in a dream represents the man of the house. A chicken in a dream also represents a woman who takes care of orphans and raises charities for their sake, or it could represent a blond woman, or a servant. Raiment (Knighthood; Robe) To put on a new raiment in a dream means a knighthood for a person who has lost his rank or position. • Seeking someone’s help in buying mortuary balm: Will seek that person’s help in a blessed endeavour.
• Seeking someone’s help to buy mortuary balm for a cadaver: The seeker is mediating in favour of a person who lost religious faith or asking to be given something to alleviate his own poverty or ordeal of any type.

Deposit (Mortgage; Security; Trust) Depositing something with someone in a dream means trusting him with a secret. Entrusting something to a deceased person in a dream means entrusting someone who can keep a secret, or it could mean that he will entrust someone with an object or money that will be lost, or it could mean confiding to someone who cannot be trusted. Entrusting one's wife with something in a dream means conceiving a child. If she gives him back what he gave her in the dream, it means that her pregnancy will not reach fruition. Hand • Walking on one’s hands: The dreamer relies on his relatives in certain matters.
• Seeing with one’s hands as if they were eyes: You are frolicking or molesting prohibited relatives too often.

New year's Day Celebrating the new year's day in a dream means a short lived happiness, reminiscing the past, the passing of sorrow and adversities, or recovering lost money. In the dream, if the new year's day coincide to be on a Friday, it means the spread of evil, corruption, or political turmoils for that year. Hoof (Cattle; Horse) In a dream, a hoof represents knowledge and pursuing its references or tracks. It also represents wealth when the hoofs are those of the king's horse or of his messenger's horse. Beating However, if one sees himself in a dream beating a deceased person, this could be interpreted to denote the strength of his faith, certitude, prayers and charitable nature. It also could mean benefits from a business trip or pursuing a lost interest. Beating in a dream when it causes no pain, bleeding or scratches means receiving a new garment, paying debts, or hearing sarcastic comments. Molar Tooth Teeth of the upper jaw represent a male person and those of the lower jaw represent a female person. Whatever may affect them in a dream, will show in wakefulness. For example, if one's molar tooth falls in a dream, it means that the particular person it represents may die shortly, or it could mean being absolved of one's debts, or perhaps repayment of one's debts. If one suffers from a tooth ache in a dream, it represents ill words which are spoken against him by such family member, or that he feels hurt from the treatment he receives from such a family member. Sheep The ram symbolizes the huge and invincible man, like the sultan, the imam, the emir (or prince), the army commander, et cetera. It also refers to the Muath-thin (the one who calls people for prayer) or the shepherd. The ram that has lost its horns is a humiliated or impotent man, since the power of the ram resides in its horns. It also represents the isolated person, the deposed ruler, or the disappointed man, despoiled of his weapons and supporters. A black ewe is an Arab woman, a white one, a foreigner.

Poison (Money) In a dream, poison means money. If one drinks poison and if his body swells and emits pus in the dream, it means profits. If his body does not show such effects in the dream, it means sorrow and distress. A lethal quantity of poisons in a dream means death. If a poor person sees himself drinking poison in a dream, it means that he will get married. Giving someone a poisonous drink in a dream means committing adultery. Bier • Plenty of biers put on the ground in a given place: The folk of that place are corrupt and indulging in adultery.
• A woman dreaming that she has died and been carried on a bier: Will get married. If already married, will relinquish her religion.
• Biers in the souk (marketplace): That market is full of adulterated goods and hypocrisy.
• Falling from one’s bier: Will be demoted; business and other interests will be stalled, and prestige will be lost.

Milk • Drinking cattle milk: Legitimate profits from the ruler.
• Human male milk (sperm) being poured on the dreamer: Will face financial hardships and ultimately go to prison.
• Milking a she-camel: A reference to alien workers in the Arab world.
• Milking a she-camel and drinking such milk: (1) Will marry a virtuous woman. (2) Will have a good son who will one day show his gratitude to his parents.
• Milking a she-camel to obtain blood: Tyranny.
• Milking a she-camel to get poison: Will reap illicit profits, thus committing a sin.

Ibn 'Umar's Wanting To See A Good Dream Narrated Ibn 'Umar: I was a young unmarried man during the lifetime of the Prophet. I used to sleep in the mosque. Anyone who had a dream, would narrate it to the Prophet. I said, "O Allah! If there is any good for me with You, then show me a dream so that Allah's Apostle may interpret it for me." So I slept and saw (in a dream) two angels came to me and took me along with them, and they met another angel who said to me, "Don't be afraid, you are a good man." They took me towards the Fire, and behold, it was built inside like a well, and therein I saw people some of whom I recognized, and then the angels took me to the right side. In the morning, I mentioned that dream to Hafsa. Hafsa told me that she had mentioned it to the Prophet and he said, "'Abdullah is a righteous man if he only prays more at night."
