Pavilion (Army; Canopy; Large tent) In a dream, a pavilion represents someone in command. Seeing a pavilion in a dream also means conquering one's enemy. A canopy in a dream represents someone who has less authority than the commander, a dome represents someone of a lower rank, and a tent in a dream means less than a dome. If a commander is seen leaving his pavilion in a dream, it means that he will lose some of his authority, or that he may die shortly. Unknown pavilions of either green or white colors in a dream mean healing, endowments, gifts, martyrdom, visiting the graves of righteous people, or a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Jesus Christ • Seeing the Holy Christ in a city or a mosque looking at the people there: Their hardships and difficult tests will be over because, says Al-Nabulsi, Jesus incarnates the spirit of God and His compassion.33
• Jesus appearing at a place: The place will be blessed, justice will prevail therein, the pagans will be destroyed, and the devout will triumph.

Incident - Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) seeing dreams before the important battles In this dream, he saw them circumambulating the Sacred House with peace and tranquility. God Almighty confirmed his dream in the Holy Qur'an saying: "Truly did God fulfil the vision for His Apostle, that ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if God wills, with your minds secured, head shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what you do not know, and He granted beside this, a speedy victory." (Qur'an 48:27). Aqiq canyons (A place near the holy city of Mecca; First segment of Allah's Messenger's Nocturnal journey.) Seeing oneself performing a ritual ablution, then performing prayers in the Aqiq canyons in a dream signifies confirmation of the testimony of Allah's Oneness (see Carnelian-red), washing oneself from worldly attachments, witnessing Divine blessings and spiritual favors, rising in station, hearing good words, or it could mean imprisonment, rain, a gift, an offering, or a charity. Piercing a hole Piercing in a dream also means spying, pursuing someone's tracks, desecrating one's earnings by bringing unlawful money into them, or it could mean deterioration in the conduct of one's children. Digging an underground tunnel to reach the inside of a house in a dream means trying to court a woman, exerting an irresistible influence on her, then luring her to deceive her. Beard A white beard in a dream means honor, dignity and good fame. If one's beard turns gray, leaving few black hairs in the dream, it means earning respect. If all its hair becomes gray in the dream, it means poverty and loss of integrity. Seeing one's wife having a beard in a dream means increase in one's wealth or growth of the bond business, or sickness of one's wife, or it could mean that she will no longer be able to conceive children, though if she had a son, it means that he will control the entire family. If a woman sees herself having a beard in a dream, it means losing her husband and if she is a widow, it means that she will marry a hard-working man who is compatible with her. If a pregnant woman sees that in a dream, it means that she will beget a son, and if she has a quarrel with someone, it means that she will win the battle and stand for herself with dignity and courage. Ants They also represent the person seeing the dream or members of his family or relatives. Understanding the language of ants in a dream means sovereignty, leadership and prosperity. If one sees ants entering his house and carrying food in a dream, it means prosperity in that family. If one sees ants leaving his house and carrying food with them in a dream, it means poverty. Seeing ants coming out of one's nostrils, ears, mouth or any part of his body and rejoicing at that sight in the dream means martyrdom. However, if one seems unhappy to see that in his dream, it means dying in sin. Flying ants in a dream also represent a robbery. Killing ants in a dream means cruelty against weak people. Friday (.arb. Jumua, the sixth day of the week.) Recognizing Friday, the sixth day of the week in which the believers gather for their congregational prayers in a dream means receiving Allah's blessings, recuperating a lost property, receiving compensation for one's losses, and changes in his financial conditions from tightness to ease. If one sees people gathered to pray the congregational Friday prayers at the grand mosque while he is still in his house or shop, and if he hears the call and segments of their prayers, or if he suspects people to be leaving the mosque to return to their homes in the dream, it means loss of his status in that town. Canal (Channel; Water passage; Watercourse) In a dream, a canal represents a woman, money or a scholar. Running a watercourse or a channel in a dream means getting married, building a business, or it could mean finding a job and serving one's family and community. Seeing a canal in a dream also means sufferings caused by a member of one's family. Water channels in a dream represent servants or housekeepers. A canal in a dream also could signify a lavatory, sewage, a marketplace, or it could mean a shop. Thus, digging a canal in a dream also could mean prosperity and spending money to support one's family and dependents. Death • Death of the king: The country will be lost.
• Death of the imam (Muslim spiritual leader): (1) Havoc in the city or country. (2) Loss of the dreamer’s religious faith.
• Death of a ulema (Muslim religious scholar): No more learning or Islamic Law in that place.
• Death of either parent: Will deteriorate materially and/or spiritually.
• Death of the father: Quandary regarding the dreamer’s livelihood.
• Death of the mother: (1) Worries and sorrow. (2) Aims will not be fulfilled.

Destruction Seeing a city destroyed by an earthquake in a dream represents the carrying of a death sentence for someone there, or it could mean violation of people's rights or freedom in that town. If one sees an entire town being destroyed with its urban area, factories and fields in a dream, it means that the people of that town have gone astray, or that its leaders are struck with calamities. On the other hand, if one sees it flourishing in a dream, then it reflects the spiritual awareness and religious devotion of its people. Snake Black snakes and pythons in a dream represent army generals. Water snakes in a dream represent money. If one sees his garden covered with snakes in a dream, it means that its trees will bear fruits and exceed the normal crop. A snake coming out of its hole in a dream represents a son. A snake leaving one's house in a dream means its destruction or demolition. Killing a snake in a dream means marriage. Tapeworms or other intestinal worms in a dream represent one's relatives and their children. Seeing snakes eating on one's table in a dream means separation between friends. Desert snakes in a dream represent highway robbers. In general a snake or a serpent in a dream represent jealousy, envy, perfidy, swindling people's properties, deceit and an avowed enmity. Incident - Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) seeing dreams before the important battles On the eve of the battle of Badr between the believers and the Quraish tribe of Mecca, Prophet Muhammad (Alayhi-Salam) saw a dream as stated in the Holy Qur'an: "And remember when God showed them to thee as few in thy dream — " (Qur'an 8:43). Wall A wall in a dream is also interpreted as a mighty person who cannot be managed except through kindness. Jumping over a wall in a dream means reverting from being a believer to a disbeliever, or accepting and following the advice of a disbeliever. Seeing one's picture reflected in a wall in a dream means one's death, and that his name will be itched on his gravestone. If a traveller sees himself returning to his house, whereby its walls are renewed, it means that he will get married. Seeping water from a crack in a wall in one's dream means adversities and stress. Pledge of allegiance Making a pledge of allegiance to the governor of a seaport city in a dream means winning victory over one's enemy, glad tidings, honoring piety, being grateful to one's Lord and oft-praying for salvation and forgiveness. Making a pledge of allegiance to an impious person or to an evil companion in a dream means helping evil people. Vulture • Vulture meat: Money and influence. The Egyptian vulture, also called pharaoh’s chicken, is an impulsive individual. It refers as well to bad people, bastards, or those who dwell in the cemeteries. Likewise, it alludes to the dead’s washhouse.
• Dreaming of an Egyptian vulture during daytime: Will be sick.
• A sick person dreaming of an Egyptian vulture: Will die.
• Capturing a pharaoh’s chicken: War and terrible bloodshed.

Mouse The mouse symbolizes the dreamer’s household: those who dwell in his house—his wife and children, et cetera—a debauched woman, or, some say, a devilish Jewish woman or a Jew, as related by Al-Nabulsi. It could also refer to a thief. Many mice means profit and welfare. Mice of the same color allude to women. The rat is a digging thief.
• Dreaming of a mouse playing in one’s house: Prosperity will increase because, according to the ancient Arabs, mice invade only those places that are prosperous. And only people who are not hungry can afford to play.
• Seeing mice in one’s house: Dangerous women will enter that house.
• A mouse leaving one’s house: Livelihood and blessings will decrease.
• Owning a mouse: Will have a servant because, like servants, mice share the food of the master.

Ant • Seeing ants carrying food and entering the dreamer’s house: Welfare will increase. The reverse is also true.
• Ants coming out of the dreamer’s nose, ear, or other holes: (1) If the dreamer is happy to see them getting out, he will die as a martyr. (2) If he resents the feat, dangers are lying ahead.
• Ants entering a country or a village: Soldiers will intrude. The reverse is also true.
• Ants escaping from a town or a house: Thieves will make it with their booty.

Bond If it is a bond made of a piece of cloth, or a thread in the dream, then it means attachment to something that will not last. In a dream, a bond also means delays when one is intending to travel, and for a merchant it means salability of his merchandise, and as for someone suffering from depression, it means perseverance of his sorrows. To see oneself tied-up in Allah's cause in a dream means caring for one's family. Seeing oneself tied-up or fettered in a city or a village in a dream means living there. • Being in Madinah, the city of the Muslims Holy Prophet: (1) Will have the best of two worlds. (2) Will escape danger. (3) Will be relieved from worries. (4) Will be safe and secure. (5) Will repent and be pardoned by God. (6) Will have or enjoy mercy. (7) Will live nicely. (8) Will be reunited with loved ones. (9) Aspirations will be fulfilled.
