Damson • Eating immature or green damson: Will give alms or heal from a disease.
• Eating yellow damson: Will obtain money but get ill.
• Eating damson from a tree: Will befriend a wealthy but irreligious person.
• Picking damson from a tree: Will marry an heiress.

Hedges (Enclosure; Fence; Surrounding) If the green hedges of a fruit garden climb toward the outside of the fence and the trees remain inside the garden in a dream, it means improper attitude toward one's religion, or loss of worldly status, business losses, failure to repent, or giving preference to the company of ignorant and boastful people over the company of righteous people, or it could mean lack of adequate religious devotion, rejecting one's religion, or raising the esteem of commoners above the elect. Pinch Pinching symbolizes greed. It could also mean spite, caused perhaps by a disappointment in love.
• Pinching flesh: The dreamer’s greed will be satisfied. But pinching anything else means the reverse.

Times in which Dreams are Most Potent It must be borne in mind that the most authentic dreams are the ones observed in the latter part of the night and during Qayloolah (sleeping at midday ) and during the day. Paleness (Yellow) Paleness of one's face in a dream means a sickness. If one sees his face bright yellow in a dream, it means that he will be among the exalted and blessed people in the hereafter. However, paleness of the face in a dream also may be interpreted as humiliation, jealousy, or hypocrisy. Paleness of the face in a dream also could mean devotion, standing up in prayers at night, observing night vigils, being in love, piety, contemplation, or being afraid of something. Banner If the banners are black in the dream, they mean that one will meet a man of knowledge. If the banners are white, then they represent a jealous person who will never be married. If they are yellow, they represent an epidemic disease. If they are green, they mean a journey by land. A banner or a flag in a dream also means that one will be wrapped in ambiguity in relation to a particular matter and he will not find a way out. If one sees a flag and a brigade in a dream, it means that he will be able to find his way through the difficulties and overcome his sadness and adversities. Tree • A sick man sitting on top of or owning a tree: His fate will depend on the condition of the tree as witnessed in the dream.
• A healthy person sitting on top of or owning a tree: Will get or fail to get what he wants (be it sex, marriage, or anything else), depending on the condition of the tree.
• Owning plenty of trees: Will become a leader or a judge of men.
• Plenty of trees in a house: Men and/or women will assemble there for something good or bad: (1) If the trees bear good and tasty fruits alluding to welfare and prosperity and people are eating from them: A banquet will be given there. (2) If the fruits are bad or allude to unhappiness: The assembly will be for a funeral rite. (3) If there is a sick person in the house and the fruits seen in the dream were unknown: The fate of the patient will depend on the season and the condition of the trees. Paleness On the other hand, if one's face is yellow and pale and his body is white in the dream, then it means that his heart is better than what others can perceive from his outer look. If both his face and body look pale and emaciated in a dream, it means an illness. Paleness of the face alone in a dream also means sadness or sorrow. Wearing a yellow garment in a dream means an illness, unless if it is made from silk. If one sees himself in a dream wearing a yellowish silk -brocaded cloak, it means religious fakery, or committing improprieties under the name of one's religion. Banana The banana tree symbolizes a rich, pious, and polite person. It is one of the noblest trees. Seeing bananas in a dream is a particularly good omen, because exception is made for that fruit by the ancient Arabs, regardless of its yellow color, which in other cases always symbolizes disease. It is a good dream even if the bananas are not ripe or taste sour.
• Eating bananas: (1) For a worldly person: Benefits and desires will be fulfilled. (2) For a religious individual: Stronger faith.

Tree • Seeing in a house an unknown tree of the type representing women: A fire will be lit in that house in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. (“Ya-Sin,” verse 80.)
• Seeing an unknown tree in a house: A possible fight or quarrel, in view of a Quranic verse: “But nay, by thy Lord, they will not believe [in truth] until they make thee judge of what is in dispute (Arabic: shagara) between them …” (“Al-Nisae” [Women], verse 65.)

Nursery (Greenhouse; Hotbed) In a dream, a nursery represents profits, annual return or a fertile woman. Owning or attending a nursery in a dream means victory, prosperity, marriage, acquiring knowledge, training in arts, or repenting from sin and harvesting the fruits of one's repentance. If the fruits of one's plants turn into gold or silver in one's dream, it means either benefits, profits, or that a disease will impair the growth of one's plants, or it could mean unsalability of one's crop. Shoe The shoe, sandal, sole, et cetera, symbolizes: (1) A wife or a pious woman. (2) A boy. (3) A friend. (4) A partner. (5) An animal. (6) A journey. (7) A brother.
• Buying a pair of shoes without using them: Will buy a slave girl or marry a free woman whose color or character will be as reflected by the color of the shoes. (1) Green shoes: The woman will be religious and virtuous. (2) Black shoes: She will be rich. (3) Yellow shoes: She will be ill. (4) Red shoes: She will be coquettish, always busy with her makeup, adornment, et cetera.

Cucumber Cucumbers and snake cucumbers represent worries and sorrow. However, in the right season they could allude to blessings and benefits; otherwise they mean disease. A dream of cutting a cucumber with an iron implement is good for someone who is ill. Snake cucumber, in particular, is an allusion to the pregnancy of the dreamer’s wife. Green mallow, which is a kind of cucumber, refers to a child who resembles his father or mother.
• Eating cucumber or snake cucumber: The dreamer is running after a matter that will overburden him, especially if it was yellow.

Crucifixion If one is crucified after being killed in the dream, it means that someone will lie to him, despite his high rank. If one eats the flesh of a crucified person in a dream, it means that he will backbite him. If blood comes out of the flesh of a crucified person in a dream, it means that he is recruited to cause harm. If one eats the flesh of a crucified person in a dream, it means that he will travel in the mail wagon or on a cargo ship. If one sees himself riding in the mail wagon in a dream, it means that he will shortly die. If one is crucified on the walls of a city and people are watching him in a dream, it means that he will rise in station and rank and that he will command strong men. If he bleeds in the dream, it means that his subjects draw benefits from him. Crucifixion of a poor person in a dream means richness, while for a rich person, it means revelations about his business dealings, exposure of his true character, defamation, or it could mean poverty. Fig Paradoxically, some interpreters hate dreams involving figs in view of other Quranic verses relating to the story of Adam and Eve wherein God says, “And We said: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely [of the fruits] thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrongdoers” (“Al-Baqarah” [The Heifer], verse 35) and “And [unto man]: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden and eat from whence ye will, but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrongdoers.” (“Al-Aaraf’ [The Heights], verse 19.) Green figs in winter symbolize rain, black figs cold.

Garden If one enters a garden at the season of plucking its fruits in a dream, it means glad tidings, money and increase in one's good deeds, marriage or children. On the other hand, if he enters a garden in the fall in a dream, it means defamation, indebtedness, divorce, or it could mean loss of a child. Seeing a deceased person in a garden means that he is in paradise. A garden in a dream also represents a source of nourishment. Tree The tree also represents the female kind, for it is irrigated; it bears (fruits) and delivers. It also refers to various places and persons associated with food, money, and wealth, like shops, warehouses, banquets, slaves, servants, and cattle. A specific number of trees alludes to men showing similitude's with such trees. Giant trees like the cypress tree or life tree or juniper tree or the Oriental plane tree are huge, rigid, and evil men. The good smell of a tree is the good reputation of the man whom the tree alludes to. The tree overladen with fruit symbolizes a man known for his largesse. Trees could also symbolize a quarrel or a fight, in view of their Arabic name, shagar, which is homonym for those words. Here, like in all trees involving plants, the season in which the tree is dreamed of plays an important role in the interpretation.

Army's flag (Banner; Flag) In a dream, the flag of an army represents a pious man, a scholar, a religious doctor, a spiritual leader, an ascetic, or a rich and a generous person who is an example to others. A red flag in a dream means war, while a yellow flag means a plague. A green flag in a dream means a blessed journey, while a white flag means rain. A black flag in a dream means drought and doubt, or it could mean a rainstorm. Sighting the flag of an army in a dream means finding one's way or finding guidance. Citron Citron, also called Adam’s apple or pie melon, is a good thing to dream of in view of its nice smell and other qualities. It refers to the devout Muslim who reads the Quran very often. The best that could be dreamt of is a green one. One, two, or three citrons mean children. Many pie melons mean money and a good repute.
• Eating sweet citrons: Will amass money or obtain money made by somebody else.
• Eating sour or bitter citrons: Will have a mild disease.

Rainbow (Fantasy; Illusion; Pipe dream) In a dream, a rainbow means peace and tranquillity. If the red color is dominant in the dream, then it means witnessing bloodshed during the same year. If the yellow color is more dominant in the dream, it means an illness. If the green color is more dominant in the dream, then it means safety, peace and tranquillity.
