Ring • Taking a gold ring from the Lord: Bad omen. Similarly bad are rings made of iron, the latter being the ornament of those who reside in Hell, and rings made of copper whose name in Arabic is nahhas, from nahs, meaning “bad luck” or “a jinx.” One more reason, adds Ibn Siren, is that copper is the metal used in manufacturing the rings of the jinn.
• Taking a silver ring from the Holy Prophet or from a religious scholar: The dreamer will acquire learning. In case the ring was made of silver, iron, or copper, the dream would have a very negative interpretation.
• Wearing a ring: Renewal of what the ring refers to, depending on its alloy or composition.

What Todo When Seeing A Bad Dream Abu Qatada reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: A good vision is from Allah and a bad dream (hulm) is from the satan; so if one of you sees anything (in a dream which he dislikes, he should spit on his left side thrice and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and then it will never harm him. Threat Receiving a threat in a dream means victory over one's assailant, opponent, or adversary, or it could mean developing a defence mechanism against any danger from that side. If the threat comes from an unknown person, such a person is a Satan, particularly if the threat is directed against one's prayers, charitable actions, or devotion. Thunderbolt Thunderbolts in a dream are signs of punishment, illness or death. If a thunderbolt hits and burns something in the dream, it means false rumours, damages, financial losses, recession, or dumping of merchandise. A thunderbolt in a dream also means a warning for a sinner, the punishment for his crime, devastation, calamities, diseases, tornados, plagues, a blast, a major political shift, tyranny, decapitation, a bad death, incineration, burning people alive, or a robbery. Mattress If one tears his mattress in pieces in a dream, it means that he will commit adultery. If he sees his mattress placed in front of the city hall in a dream, it means that he may assume an important political appointment. An unknown mattress in an unknown place in a dream means buying, receiving, or inheriting a farmland. A mattress in a dream also means bearing a son. Jew Interpreters widely differ on the sight of Jews in a dream. For some:
• Seeing a Jew, be he young or old, means: (1) An enemy, in view of the Quranic verse that reads: “Thou wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews, and the idolaters. …” (“Al-Maidah” [The Table Spread], verse 82.) Sword • A person in dispute seeing a sword already drawn in his hand: Justice will be on the dreamer’s side.
• Finding a sword and picking it up: The dreamer is demanding justice and will obtain it.
• Being handed a sword: A reference to a woman, as it looks very beautiful and has very nefarious effects, according to Al-Nabulsi referring to Luqman in the holy scriptures.

Pearl Counting pearls in a dream means going through hardships. Seeing pearls in a dream means becoming joyful and happy. Receiving a gift of pearls in a dream denotes a political appointment. Pearls in a dream also denote good words, money, or servants. A pearl necklace in a dream means marriage, or a bundle of money, or it could mean memorizing the Quran. Clothes • The dead giving the dreamer something of what he is wearing and the former wearing it in turn: Deep trouble and an acute disease. If the cloth was left till the dead took it back, it means that the dreamer will quickly depart from this world.
• A dead person giving the dreamer a tailored cloth that does not belong to the former and the latter taking and wearing it, then returning it to the dead, who wears it in turn: Those who live under the dreamer’s roof will die unless he had not returned the cloth to the dead, in which case the dreamer’s wealth will increase.
• The dead giving the dreamer a tattered or dirty cloth: Will commit abominations.
• Giving a cloth to the dead, but the latter neither unfolding nor wearing it: Harm will befall the dreamer’s fortune or health, but recovery will follow.

Dog All kinds of dogs refer to wicked persons.
• Taking a dog: Will befriend a servant and love him very much.
• Taking or befriending a dog: Deviation, work stoppage, and the squandering of money.
• Being bitten or scratched by one’s dog: (1) Will encounter disaster sustain harm, and face hardships caused by a friend or a servant. (2) Will be harmed by one’s enemy as much as there was pain. (3) The dreamer might fall ill.
• A dog tearing one’s clothes: A silly individual is backbiting you. If no barking was heard, it means that an enemy has silently laid a trap.
• A female dog (or bitch): (1) A proliferative woman keen on preserving her husband; (2) A mean woman of low origin whose folks are troublemakers.
• A puppy is a beloved son. If he is white, it means the boy is a genuine worshiper. If black, he will prevail over his folk. In other interpretations: A puppy is the waif of a profligate or the product of adultery that the dreamer will find and raise. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Ram In a dream, a ram represents a noble person. Holding a ram by its wool in a dream means taking money from a noble person. Holding a ram from its horn in a dream means being restrained by a noble man from engaging in something. Holding a ram from its buttock in a dream means controlling or managing the interests of a noble man, or it could mean inheriting him, or marrying his daughter. Holding a ram from its belly in a dream means taking money from a noble person. Killing a ram for other than food in a dream means killing a noble person. If one kills a ram during a wartime in a dream, then it represents his enemy. A slaughtered ram in a dream represents a murder. Buying a ram from a butcher in a dream means that a noble and a great person will come to need the person seeing the dream who will save him from a foreseeable danger, or help him to recover from an illness. Amber Amber in a dream also denotes valuable properties, farms, fruit gardens, or a fellowship of knowledge and wisdom. The fragrance of amber in a dream means a storm, wind, a breeze, or it could represent benefits coming from the direction one recognizes in the dream. If one sees himself burning amber in a dream, it means that he is indulging in religious innovations, corruption, losing face, placing something in the wrong place, dealing with tainted money, bribing a government official, lobbying for a selfish cause and supporting a political campaign. I saw Abu Qatada who also said: I used to see dreams which made me sick until I heard Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: Good dreams are from Allah, so if any one of you sees which he likes he should not disclose it to one but whom he loves, but if he sees something which he does not like he should spit on his left side thrice and seek refuge with Allah from the mischief of the Satan and its mischief (i.e. of the dream), and he should not relate it to anyone, then it would not harm him. Rain • Taking shelter under a roof or near a wall during the rainy season: (1) Travel or work will be delayed due to sickness or lack of financial means. (2) The dreamer will be jailed as much as there was rain.
• Taking shelter under a roof or near a wall while it is raining in the wrong season: (1) The dreamer will be slandered and harmed. (2) The dreamer will be beaten as much as there was rain.
• Raining on one’s house in particular: (1) Welfare, benefits, and dignity. (2) Calamities, pain, and diseases, including perhaps smallpox in that house.
• Using rainwater to wash one’s face, clean one’s private parts after a sexual act, remove some impurity on one’s body or clothes, or conduct ablutions: (1) If an atheist, the dreamer will become Muslim. (2) If a heretic or a sinner, the dreamer will repent. (3) If the dreamer is poor, he will become rich, by the grace of Allah. If one sees a dream which one does not like, one should spit on one's left side and seek the refuge of Allah from the satan; it will not do one any harm, and one should not disclose it to anyone and if one sees a good vision one should feel pleased but should not disclose it to anyone but whom one loves. Idol Worship • Worshiping a silver idol: Will have an affair with a woman—be she a free one, a slave, or a servant—with a lot of betrayal and corruption on either side in the affair.
• Worshiping a brass, bronze, iron, or lead idol: Will forget all about religion and worship the pleasures of life.
