Islam (Religion of Islam; Surrender to Allah's will; Submission) To see oneself as a Muslim, praising Allah Almighty, thanking Him, facing the Kabah in one's prayers, or to see oneself embracing Islam in a dream means straightening one's life, or repentance from one's sins. If one sees himself renewing his Islam in a dream, it means safety from plagues, sickness, or adversities. To proclaim the two testimonies; " There is no allah other than Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, " in one's dream means relief from distress, or guidance after heedlessness. Removing the Hair of the Head and the Beard Simultaneously If there is anything to suggest any goodness in such a dream it means that if observer is in difficulty, Allah will remove if, if he is in debt, Allah will enable him to pay it; if he is ill, Allah will grant him cure. Wall Gecko (Lizard) A wall gecko in a dream represents an evil person who is proud of himself, who encourages mischief, and dampens people's spirit to do good. A gecko in a dream also represents a backbiter and a slanderer. Getting hold of a gecko in a dream means encountering such a person. Eating a gecko in a dream means backbiting people. If a gecko takes a bite from someone's flesh in a dream, it means that someone will speak ill of him in public. Fox A fox in a dream represents a lethal enemy, a perfidious person, a liar, a poet, someone who defraud people, a schemer and a trickster. Somehow, a fox in a dream is also interpreted generally as a Fortuneteller, a dangerous state inspector, a physician or a good business manager. Killing a fox in a dream means taking advantage of a noble woman. A fox in a dream also means ingratiating oneself before a noble man or a noble woman. Scepter Whatever may affect a scepter in a dream can be interpreted as affecting one's son or his tongue. If one sees himself hitting a small ball with a scepter, or playing with a ball in his dream, it represents a dispute with his wife, or a fight with a hypocritical person. A scepter in a dream also indicates the presence of jinn spirits, wars, devastations, or it could represent past benefits. Hitting someone with a scepter in dream means getting what one desires from him, but through crooked ways. Pumpkin (Gourd; Squash; Zucchini) In a dream, a pumpkin represents a scholar, or a highly trained physician who cares about his patients and who is loved by the people, who asks for little and who rarely asks for anything for himself. A pumpkin in a dream could also denote medicine and particularly when cooked. Eating pumpkin in a dream also means guidance, following good example, or it could mean temptation. Eating a pumpkin in a dream also means recovering a lost object, or reuniting with one's beloved, or correcting one's spiritual thoughts. Cistern In a dream, a water cistern represents a pouch, a safe, a box, a coffer, a partner, one's wife, a son, or knowing people's personal secrets. If the oil cistern is filled with water in the dream, it means stagnation of any of the above. If one sees a water cistern filled with oil in a dream, then it means prosperity. The cistern of a fellowship house, a khanakah or a mosque in a dream represents its Imam or its supervising spiritual teacher or the caretaker and guard of the property. If one sees the water cistern of the house sitting in an unsuitable place in that house in a dream, it represents the spirit of a jinni who pursues such a person or who may haunt his house. Brandishing A Sword Abu Musa reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: I dreamt (while asleep) that I was about to migrate from Mecca to a land abounding in palmtrees and I guessed that it would be Yamama or Hajar, but it was the city of Yathrib (the old name of Medina), and I saw in this dream of mine that I was brandishing a sword and its upper end was broken and this is what fell (in the form of misfortune to the believers on the Day of Uhud). I brandished (the sword) for the second time and it became all right and this is what came to be true when Allah granted us victory and solidarity of the believers. And I saw therein cows also and Allah is the Doer of good. These meant the group from amongst the believers on the Day of Uhud and the goodness which Allah brought after that and the reward of attestation of his Truth which Allah brought to us after the Day of Badr. Glorifying Glorifying Allah's sovereignty in a dream is a confirmation of one's true faith. If in real life the person is ill, imprisoned or in fear, glorifying Allah Almighty in a dream means his cure, freedom and peace. If one sees himself performing his prescribed prayers, then following that with invocations of Allah's glory in a dream, it means that one will receive a verdict of innocence, fulfil a vow, comply with the divine command, or that Allah Almighty will provide him with resources to pay his debts from sources he does not anticipate. To swear solemnly by the stars, the celestial signs or by any physical sign in a dream means arrogance, deception, humiliation, hypocrisy or heedlessness. If one is truthful in his oath in a dream it means that he will win his argument, speak the truth or perform an act that pleases Allah Almighty. Mental hospital (Insane asylum; Hell-fire; Lunatics; Prison) In a dream, a mental hospital or an insane asylum represents a bathhouse, or a sauna which is the dwelling of evil spirits, the place of uncovering one's private parts, or showing unpleasant conduct in public. A mental hospital in a dream also represents a training school, caring for children's education, teaching children to behave themselves, a place of learning, a school, a playground, a place of clamor and noise, using vile words, stealing money, or separation from one's family and children. In a dream, Allah's prophet Noah (Alayhi-Salam) represents longevity, adversities, sufferings, triumph, children from a disgraceful wife, though one will remain content and grateful to Allah Almighty for His gift. It is said that one who sees the prophet Noah (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream will become a scholar, an assiduous worshipper and an obedient servant who exercises patience and forbearance. He will also triumph over his enemies and receive a magnificent endowment from his Lord. His companions will disobey him and by Allah's leave, he will win over them too. Seeing Allah's prophet Noah (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also means rain and floods. Seeing him (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also means suffering from many enemies, and from the jealousy and envy of one's neighbors. Being Beheaded And Following The Head Jabir reported that there came to Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) a desert Arab and said: Allah's Messenger, I saw in the state of sleep as if my head had been cut off and I had been moving on haltingly after it. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (?) said to that desert Arab: Do not narrate to the people the vain sporting of satan with you in your sleep and (the narrator) also said: I heard Allah's Messenger (?) in his subsequent address: None amongst you should narrate the vain sporting of devil with him in the dream. Bathhouse A water leak from the boiler that flows through the floors of the bathing quarters in a dream means incurring the anger of one's wife. Entering a bathhouse in a dream means suffering from a fever. Drinking hot water directly from the boiler in a dream means sickness, stress, depression and a scare from evil spirits. If one sees himself drinking cold refreshing water from the regular water tab in a dream, it means comfort and joy. Taking a bath with cold water in a dream means recovering from an illness. What Todo When Seeing A Bad Dream Abu Qatada reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: A good vision is from Allah and a bad dream (hulm) is from the satan; so if one of you sees anything (in a dream which he dislikes, he should spit on his left side thrice and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and then it will never harm him.
