Muezzin (Caller to prayers; Muslim caller on the hour of prayers) In a dream, a muezzin represents someone who calls for what is good and blessed, a broker, an officiant who performs the wedding ceremony, the messenger of the king, or his door attendant. Melon If one sees himself extending his hands to the heavens from where he receives a water melon in the dream, it means that he is seeking a job in the government or a wealth which he shall shortly receive. A ripened water melon in a dream means a sickness, while a green and unripened melon means youth and a good health. Honeydew in a dream represent a group of men and women who possess good character and manners. In a dream, a melon also represents a beautiful woman though with bad qualities. Funeral A funeral crossing a marketplace in a dream means liquidation of merchandise. Paying tribute to a funeral in a dream means bidding farewell or paying respect to a travelling friend. Paying tribute to a passing funeral procession in a dream represents one's concern for his own comfort. If the deceased in the coffin points at the person seeing the dream, it means that the latter will conduct his funeral, and he will receive a reward for his service. If he serves that funeral till the burial and the closing of the grave in a dream, it means that he will receive double that reward, the value of which reward is known only to Allah Almighty. Seeing oneself performing a ritual ablution, then performing prayers in the Aqiq canyons in a dream signifies confirmation of the testimony of Allah's Oneness (see Carnelian-red), washing oneself from worldly attachments, witnessing Divine blessings and spiritual favors, rising in station, hearing good words, or it could mean imprisonment, rain, a gift, an offering, or a charity. Banknote (Dollar; Money) A banknote in a dream represents a pure intention, a beautiful son, a treasure, an agreement, a consent, deputyship, devotion, straight path, swearing in, testimony or wisdom. Losing a banknote in a dream means losing one's son or missing one's prayers. If one sees himself moving piles of banknotes to his house in a dream, it means that money will be delivered to his hand. Though banknotes are blessings and they are what people need, nevertheless, they are also Satan's arrows. Muezzin If a woman calls to prayers on top of a minaret in a dream, it means innovation and that a major trial will emerge in that locality. If a child calls to prayers from the top of a minaret and at a time other than the hour of prayers in a dream, it means that ignorant people will rise to govern and lead his community. The call to prayers in a dream also represents an official announcement. An unknown muezzin in a dream represents the governor, or the ruler of that land. Neckband (Collar; Necklace) In a dream, a neckband represents stinginess. A neckband in a dream also could represent woman's kindness, gentleness, softness, protection and respect for her husband. Thus, for a woman, a neckband in her dream represents her husband. If her neckband is made of silver, and if it is wide, comfortable and well strapped to her neck in a dream, it denotes her husband's generosity, richness and forbearance. If the neckband is thin, then it implies difficulties. If it is made of iron in the dream, it represents a strong person. If it is made from wood in the dream, it represents a hypocrite. If a man wears a neckband over a white or a green collar in a dream, it represents victory in his life and comfort he will receive from an unexpected source. Mihrab Otherwise, it means that such a property will be donated by its owner for religious use. Seeing an incorrectly positioned prayer niche in a mosque in a dream means deviation for Allah's path and erring in one's words and actions. In a dream, a mihrab also represents lawful sustenance or a pious wife. If one sees the prayer niche of a mosque misdirected, or if it emits a vile odor, or if one sees the corpse of a dead animal lying inside it in a dream, it indicates that the one who is seeing the dream is an unbeliever, an innovator and a hypocrite. Beating Beating someone with a leather belt or with a cane in a dream means bad consequences in wakefulness. Hitting the floor in a dream means taking a trip. If one receives one hundred lashes on his back in a dream, it means that he has committed adultery, or it could mean that he has the intention to do so. If one receives forty lashes in a dream, it means that he indulges in drinking alcohol or uses intoxicants. If he is lashed eighty times in a dream, it means that he slanders married women. If he is whipped by a deceased person in the dream, it means that he is pursuing wrong ideas and should reverse his course, for a deceased person dwells in the kingdom of truth and follows only what pleased Allah Almighty. Amulet If he is a man of knowledge, it means that he lies or hides his true knowledge, abstains from giving true advice, or perhaps he offers a poor quality of worship. If the one reciting the incantation in the dream is a judge, it means that he will give a wrong judgement. If one is given to drink some water over which specific prayers were recited in a dream, it means longevity. If one sees himself reciting an incantation, or if he hears incantations recited on his behalf in a dream, it will all be false except for a prayer that recites; In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate or contains a Quranic revelation. Greetings If one commences talking to someone before greeting him in a dream, it means innovation, and the same interpretation is given if he does not reply to a greeting, or if he replies with a gesture. Paying the regards of peace at the end of one's prayers in a dream means pursuing one's path, following the proper traditions, completing one's job, resignation from one's job, appointment, dismissal, travels and profits. If one ends his prayers beginning his greetings from the left, then proceeding to the right in a dream, it means that he pursues the road of evildoing and innovation. If one ends his prayers without the traditional greetings in a dream, it means that he is more interested in collecting his profit, than in protecting his capital investment. Distraction Distraction in a dream and especially during prayers means envy and desire to rip others of their property and particularly close friends or relatives. If one is distracted during his prayers by a creeping snake or a lion in a dream, it means that he must be on his guard and cautious with his wife or child. Distraction during prayers represents one's passions, desires, or it could mean heedlessness, soliciting temporary gains and declining from the eternal benefits of the hereafter. Circumambulation (Ambulate; Kabah; Mecca; Walk around) If a sinner sees himself circumambulating Allah's House in Mecca in a dream, it means that he will be freed from suffering in hell-fire. If one is unmarried, it means that he will get married. If one qualifies for promotion, it means that he will receive it. Seeing oneself performing a pilgrimage in a dream also means circumambulating Allah's house in Mecca, developing a good character, living a straight and a worthy life, safety from fear, repayment of one's debts, delivering entrusted merchandise to their rightful owners or money to its people on demand, being trustworthy, living an ascetic life, fulfilling a promise, atonement for one's sins, distributing expiatory gifts or interceding on behalf of a trustworthy and a noble Imam. Supplication (Imploring; Invocations) In a dream, supplications represent worship, a special prayer, or asking for a specific need. Invocations in a dream mean that one's needs are satisfied. If one's supplications are done under dire need, or if they involve strong emotions, sobbing or grief in the dream, then they represent trying moments in one's life, or they could mean temptations. Loud or solemn supplications in a dream may indicate a special prayer for rain. If the supplications do not call for Allah's favors, or if they are not directed toward Him in the dream, then they represent falsehood. Prophet If one sees a prophet suffering from poverty and asking for help in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty will satisfy all the needs of the person seeing such a dream for the sake of the blessings reserved for that prophet. If one kills a prophet in a dream, it means that he will betray a trust, negate a promise, or deny a covenant. Living in the time of one of Allah's prophets on earth in a dream means honor, dignity, success, piety and wealth if one is suited for such gifts. Otherwise, it means that Satan is deceiving him. If a prophet of Allah Almighty beats a righteous and a sincere believer in a dream, it means that he will attain peace and salvation in his life in the hereafter. Cow If one sees himself riding a cow in a dream, it means that he will inherit a woman. If one is offered a cow hide as a gift in a dream, it means that he will receive money from someone in authority. On the other hand, if one is stripped of a cow's hide he owns in a dream, it represents a fine that he will have to pay. To see the calf of the Children of Israel in a dream means dissension, temptation or a murder. It also may mean a miraculous event, or that a heavenly sign will take place in that locality. If the person is disobedient to his mother, he will repent and turn to be good to her. If a cow butts against him in a dream, it means that Allah is displeased with him. Supplication If one sees a group of people gathering in a circle of prayers, or doing Zikr and invoking the divine attributes in a dream, then they represent a gathering of children, growth, blessings, or waiving away sufferings. If one sees himself praying to Allah Almighty, or that prayers are invoked on his behalf in a dream, it means happiness and money. Supplications in Allah's house or in a mosque in a dream are more beneficial than prayers which are offered anywhere else. If one prays in the dark in a dream, it means that he will be saved from trials. If one sees himself imploring another person in a dream, it means that he fears him. Zikr If during his dream one speaks words of truth and wisdom, it means that he will recover from his adversity and be cured from his illness. Furthermore, he will move into a more comfortable life and begin a life of sharing and doing good deeds in this world, or he may receive guidance and light, and faith will permeate his heart. Wadi If one is not travelling, then it means distress, adversity, harm, imprisonment, fear, or illness. Crossing a wadi in the wintertime in a dream means escaping from danger. Digging a wadi in a dream means the death of a family member. Falling into a steep wadi in a dream and feeling no pain or incurring no harm from it in a dream means that one will receive a gift from someone in authority or from his superior. Inhabiting a valley with no vegetation in a dream means performing one's pilgrimage to Mecca. To wander aimlessly in a wadi in a dream means writing a poem.
